I just killed the Deku tree, but yes, I'm getting definite LTTP vibes here. The 3d part is quite (relatively) well-implemented. That doesn't mean 3d console camera control doesn't suck.

Because it's a toy. If you consider the PlayStation 3 a toy, then yes, it is an expensive toy. However, it is more than a toy. It is a PlayStation 3. And it is the only PlayStation 3. I hope that those who understand this will gladly purchase it.

Er, yeah, premium modules. And whining about stuff like Garry's mod and CS is pretty meh. You can still play the old versions. If I were Garry and I wanted to get into the industry, you can bet I'd want to have professional credit on my CV. That'd be more useful than just having amateur credit, no matter how popular the mod is. I highly doubt most modders aren't trying to get into the industry.

Well, the DD mods were fun for what they were, but I wasn't really blown away by the story/writing/gameplay of any of them. In hindsight, I wouldn't have bought them.

Though I haven't paying too much attention, has DLA ever released any mod with actual writing in it? All I remember them doing before this was that DL1 mod that's never going to see the light of day. I'm all for sympathy, but credit goes where credit is due.

You know, Atari could just ordered the ponies to be axed without having to take down all 3 mods, if that's actually what they 'feared'. There may more to this than meets the eye. Again, we're getting only a part of the story anyway. Look at what the DLA folks are saying. 'Atari is probably going to flop anyway' 'NWN2 will have very little support' 'NWN2 will proabably have a tiny community'. Smells like bias.

Heh, no pressure. If the PS3 flops, prices will plummet or games will shift systems. Of course, there's also the possibility of it flourishing and all your games ending up on a 600$ gaming mach...... entertainment machine.
