Mine is a play on the classic movie, Major League, where the commentator was saying "THE INDIANS WIN! THE INDIANS WIN! OH MY GOD THE INDIANS WIN IT!" With Oilers in place of Indians naturally
  2. The "you" wasn't so much You as in Volo. More "the people." As in, I'm thinking the decision to add things has come in response to the delay.
  3. In any case, I'm thinking you can thank the delay for any decisions to add things. EDIT: I should rephrase that. I wonder if the decision to add to it is a result of the delay or not.

Unlikely. But I'll still give it a whirl. EDIT: I'll see if I can find an extra one
  5. Having plans to add something and actually adding something is quite different. On the plus side, they WERE just given about a 1 month extension to work on it, which would make adding stuff to it more likely.
  6. Believe it or not, but that doesn't mean that they will add anything or not. That post is asking for a sticky.
  7. I don't see anything in that thread from the devs about adding stuff to the DM Client.
  8. They could. Given people were upset at the initial delay to begin with, I'm surprise you're now asking for them to do it. Weren't you really upset when it was mentioned that it wasn't going to be in? Now you're saying they should add some extra functionality?
  9. I wouldn't be surprised if the changes are intrinisc, to get it working properly with the changes they made to the engine.
  10. Get The Emperor! 14 lbs of portable gaming goodness. http://reviews.cnet.com/Eurocom_M590K_Empe...7-31841166.html
  11. Wooo, in other news. My computer is IN. Some assembly required
  12. I feel PCI-E will be around for a while yet. It's still new, and it's not in the interests of graphics chip makers or motherboard makers to redefine a new standard this early in PCI-E's lifecycle (unless of course the new standard sucked and was broken...which I don't think PCI-E is). I'm sure I'll regret it when some unexpected expense comes up
  13. I haven't seen anything about them commenting about it being horrible project mismanagement either. Your "proof" is that they stated it wouldn't need work. Which was prior to annoying little things like engine rewrites. Not surprisingly, when they change large parts of the engine (which was not originally planned), the original plan of not needing to work on the DM Client was no longer the case. We're both making educated guesses based on the information provided.
  14. Especially when I have money and limited expenses. I guess I haven't said what I'm getting. Asus A8R-MVP Deluxe Athlon64 X2 4200+ ATI Radeon X1900 XTX (I couldn't say no to 3 X's. It's the latent porn addict in me!!! Oh, this was my stupid purchase ) 2x1GB of RAM As well as the other bells and whistles like DVD-RW and whatnot.
  15. My experience with programming, and the relatively short delay it is displaying.
  16. I went for the stupid decision Bok, so don't worry
  17. With respect to the DMC, it seems less like bad project management, and a bit more like finding unexpected issues.
