Combat Mission games
It's nothing if not action packed! Have to watch even the same area multiple times just to get the gist of what is going on.

Vampire: Bloodlines.
Ha. Really. For some reason I thought it was at least after Downtown. Shows what I know.

Pictures of your Games: Revolutions
Many "purists" complained that they felt Rome was too "dumbed down" (or something). There's demos for their games available, and I find them an absolute blast.

Vampire: Bloodlines.
Errr, that's not the "conflict" that I'm talking about. Certainly not the one that needs the persuasion.

The Elder Scrolls games
I didn't really see much variation in 2D games either. Unless you go with the whole picture background like in the Baldur's Gate games.

I'm pretty sure it's a Total War game. Probably Rome: Total War.

Vampire: Bloodlines.
Which area was it before? I could have sworn it was quite a fair bit later in the game. I never had any problems . It's been a while. What part of the game did it come after?

Im sick of NDA's
Sounds like conspiracy theories. I guess the 12 hour days aren't that big of a deal for Jim. And yeah, it'll definitely be a McDonald's. Because this non-competition clause would definitely shut the door to anything beyond fast food! Even if it did, maybe Jim should check his pride at the door. Since we're going to play the conspiracy theory game, this clause also prevents evil companies...we'll call this one EA, from going after the employees of other companies and stealing them with promises of fat paycheques and excellent working conditions. But yeah, it's definitely not because people have all sorts of access to ideas and implementation strategies that aren't their own. I mean, no person would ever dream of taknig a kickass idea that they learned at one company, and using it in a competing company that would be willing to pay them more money.

Knives to the spine don't cut it for you?

I'm pretty sure the "conflict" between them that they're talking about is quite a bit later in the game.

Oh thank god for the armor on that one tank of mine. I've seen quite a few richochets off of it! I haven't seen any KV-1s...so hopefully they aren't out there. My most recent artillery strike seemed a bit more on target. No blown up houses though. I'm almost wondering it the action is too intense that the round won't end until we agree to a ceasefire...because of ammo issues!

Ah yes, I remember them now. I'd zap 'em with the 20 mm Sniper usually.

What are you playing ...
I don't remember the armed flying robot drones.

Their purpose is to prevent people from taking proprietary ideas from a company, and using them at a different company without proper permission/compensation.

Sooooo...how exactly do I call in an air strike?

Was I right or what
I haven't heard that. Do you have a link?

Well, a lot of what he works on will have included proprietary code, and not proprietary code that he worked on. As a business, how do you ensure that if someone quits your company, he doesn't start using that proprietary code at a different company that competes with the first business that created it?

Unfortunately, while he mops the floor with my face, his soldiers get killed on the battlefield.

Errr. If the Cell is putting stuff in the RSX memory for the RSX to work with, I'm not sure why the RSX has to be too "tapped out." If the Cell is computing all of the geometry, it can write that information right into the RSX (and do it fast), and have it waiting there for the RSX to start doing all of its shader routines/rendering/whatever. This is what I'm curious about with respect to using the Floating Point power of the Cell to calculate Random Variable distributions. Maybe we no longer need to abstract the decision making in order to reduce the floating point instructions, since Cell has a lot of floating point power. Branching is important. But even then, determining which branch to take requires some sort of metric by which they make their decision (where I'm curious if the floating point power could be an advantage, as stated above). I know there's a lot of hoopla about the poor branch prediction of the Cell, though I'm not sure how (this is starting to go beyond the scope of my studies). According to IBM: Also, I have heard concerns that the Cell, while powerful, is inappropriate as a gaming processor. I find this a little unusual, as much of IBM's articles seem to indicate that it is probably best suited for a gaming processor. Meh.

Vampire: Bloodlines.
That's not true. I did have a fan patch that did solve issues, particularly in the end game levels. This came out before the official patch though, and it may have disappeared afterwards.

Don't blame me, blame my crack smoking artillery spotter! The battle is getting pretty intense. One massive front!
