  1. No, I got that. You're being stuck on semantics. I'm talking about what if all the actions that would typically be considered murder today, were no longer illegal. In other words, what would your opinion be if murder essentially didn't exist. The reason why I provided the context of "murder," was because we know what type of situations where those crimes don't exist. Case in point was when I didn't use the term murder, you started talking about "lawful killings" like executions, which were not the types of killings I was talking about. I figured it was obvious, but I guess it wasn't.
  2. Stop dodging the question. I don't honestly believe you are daft enough to not know what I meant. As I said in the previous post, we can take a different point at semantics. We know what type of actions constitute murder. Hence, if we take all those actions, and no longer make them illegal (which after the fact would abolish murder from the legal system), you seem to be okay with all those actions. Since they'd no longer be against the Law. It turns out it was necessary, because when I mention if it wasn't against the law to kill someone, you somehow figured I was talking specifically about the what we now consider "lawful killing" i.e. executions.
  3. Semantics, and dodging the point entirely. You are talking about obeying the Law. So if it wasn't against the law to kill someone, you'd have no problems with it? Besides, if you wanted to play the semantic game, look at my statement: When I say murder, I mean all current actions that we declare to be murder. If we were to talk all the actions that we consider, now, to be murder, and make it no longer illegal.
  4. Seriously, has Darque hacked into Hades account? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If that's the case, the post would have just been a single :darque:
  5. Not sure why this would take any longer than a game going Gold, and then shipping within a month. Especially considering the inherent delays that exist with a print magazine anyways.
  6. So if murder wasn't illegal you'd have no problems with it?
  7. I remember adamantly following Halo back in 2000. My friends and I were very excited about the game. Then it went XBOX exclusive and we all cried (okay just me). When I finally got a chance to play it on the PC, it was a neat game, but ultimately left me unimpressed.
  8. I'm not sure how long inmates typically stay on Death Row. Timothy McVeigh lasted 4 years, but he only made one appeal. Is it the people serving life sentences that get their sentences reduced to make room for a new inmate?
  9. I'm not so sure how significant of an impact on prison populations the death penalty would have. They aren't exactly handed out like candy, and even then inmates still spend a fair share of time on death row (rightfully so) before they are finally executed. And the ones that would typically get the death penalty probably aren't usually the ones that frequently get released shortly after their stay and get back into crime.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were annoyed with Jack Johnson. IIRC Carolina was under the impression each of the last two years that he was willing to sign a contract, but both years he opted for school.

I think the Canes were interested in acquiring a defensemen that will play now.
  12. I assumed psycho was that hotel, but apparently not.
  13. I made it to 19. (sorry, there are dupilicates to what's above). Clockwork Orange, candyman, eraserhead, signs, 12 monkeys, Halloween, Pumpkinhead, The Ring, Pirhana, Seven, Children of the Corn, The FLy, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The birds, The Crow, Saw, Leprechaun, and another one which I can't find anymore hahaha.
  14. Is there a solution? I think I'm getting stuck at 14

I wonder if it was bittersweet for him.
  16. I suppose. I imagine that the single core will probably have multple threads going, but since it's a single core, it's still only executing one at a time. So it's still likely related to the raw power of the system.
  17. I plan on having little paraphrases along the bottom of the exhibits, so you'll get an idea of what is said. When you select that exhibit, it will act out the full description with full voice overs (text subtitles optional).
  18. I plan on creating a museum of video games! I'll have the CRPG wing, complete with a history of the Ultimas and all that jazz. Discuss its evolution, and so on. Of course the first exhibits most readily available will be the twitchy action genres. We all know those people have poor attention spans so they'll have to be able to get in and get out quickly.
  19. I remember Metal Gear Solid having a rather large amount of cutscenes, mixed in with some anti-nuclear weapon videos. And it was goofy, where you'd go from one cutscene right into another after walking down a hallway.
  20. I couldn't find it on their website, so my ploy about complaining that there wasn't one worked! Thanks. I'll look into this when I get home.
