For me, the best combat theme is this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggrtVfzCJLI&feature=youtu.be&t=35m53s I love it. She tell me an epic and difficult story. The boss combat (magnificient) is also better than Pillars of eternity OST. https://youtu.be/ggrtVfzCJLI?t=37m09s The white march is more inspired (it's my opinion)

I disagree. She has some spell. Work with phrases. Ok. (Its not crazy either...) But Lantry has other added values. Others trees. Ball in the center. When you invest in lore, except the bonus of Lantry obviously (+30), it remains after that a large difference between Lantry, and Eb/Sirin. It's a fact. Just play the game. The lore is essential for spells. I agree That Sirin and Eb may have less... a little. If it considered that it has better powers. (Chants + Phrases) But 30 of difference... Its a big problem. When you think about it, you understand that it comes just from the difference in training (Skill trainers).

I transfer a message for one important point evoked in another topic : ------------ I have finished Tyranny. I start to thinking with optimization and redo the game. And I have a big problem with Skills trainers : (The 5 points per level) If Sirin, Kill in shadows and Eb arrive later... They can't obtain the same number of training point by level. And its ridiculous : my verse has 89 in bow. Lantry has 92 in lore. Has equal level, when Sirin come ...She has 50 in lore. There is a BIG problem with this system. Its not ten points lower, but 40 !... I think the five training points should be accumulate freely. Level 2 ? 5x2=10 skills points to spend. Level 10 ? 5 x 10 = 50 (Memorized and usable at anytime. This solution fix all the problems) etc. Its also a problem when you unintentionnally pick a level BEFORE talk to a skills trainers. You miss sometimes your points for the precedent level. In the same way : arrive too late and spend 3 or 4 points instead of 5, because the fourth trigger the level up... I hope a patch for fix this. Its very annoying and break the choice of companion. Why to abandon barik, Lantry and verse with full charge of points ? Its problematic. Sirin, Eb and Kill in shadows do not serve anymore in that case.

Personnaly, I prefer the spells of PoE. There are more inspired and varied. The best for me Would be to propose some mods (accents ? : ) ) to PoE's spells. While maintaining this diversity. The problem with tyranny Many powers resemble each other or just do damage. In cone, in line. It's industrial. It's less inspired. Despite the excellent side of customization.

I played Tyranny actually... There is always a problem of pathfinding. Please Obsidian fix that horrible problem. = Heal 2meters = Sirin go left and right, left, right, behind my 3 warriors... After that I have to micro and I discover Sirin can pass elsewhere. Its a little thing but, its annoying, especially on a critical operation (= heal before death) For fix that : an alarm sound + a textual warning in red, during the pause. If not, the player lose time to note that afer pause. I am agree to tell there is the solution of reinforce the spell range, but its not a total excuse. Often it seems that the characters collide.

Personnally, I prefer 50 skills, even if I use 10 of 5. Beside, in Tyranny, there is very bad talent also... But with pillars, I CHOSE my 5 skills for optimisations. I make a choice. In Tyranny, I think in 1 years, the builds will be limited : 2H, 1 weapon 2H, 1H+shield... bow and magic. (javelin is bad no ? : p) In Pillars, there are more choices because in Tyranny, its your handling which manage everything. And for various build in pillars, I chose others skills or/and other classes, more exotic for test. Its an important difference. For this kind of game, optimisation = choice. No optimisation = casual gaming = clic-clic no brain. Similary, the approach in pillars is better. Team-play is better. Its ironical (in tyranny we have combo skills...) but its true : in pillars the roles are more readable and varied.

Like : + I like the Graphical update. (Visual effects for exemple) ++ The scenario is so much better. (Exept the end ?) + The start with conquest is interresting. ++ Create spells is an AMAZING idea. (+/-) I am mitigate for the talent tree. The talents are better than PoE's but I don't like "tree approach". + The in game infos around game mechanics seem to be way better. Great job for the lore's indications and tuto. Dislike : - In contrary of my friend Boeroer, I can like the change of posture in dialogue, but Its too much motionless. So, its weird. (For the rest, its a good idea, its true) - I don't like it that there are no classes. Lack of personnality. Its not Oblivion guys. - I don't like the idea of upgrade skills with use, like elder scrolls. - I Don't like the infinite use of talents (power recharges). Its no brain Clic-clic-clic. Dota+MMO style = beurk. - Deficiency of buff approach (priest in PoE)

Good news for the hotfix ! I agree with K Galen B. 3 % proc chance, its very low for others classes than barbarian. Dont forget this is one of the last soulbound weapon. At the end of the game for major part of players if they do the extensions after the main game. (I never use this weapons for this reason : the necessary time to train the weapon = Thaos.)

Wait and see. I'll test the Gog version. For the bashing, it's not malicious, it's logical. We are in 3.04... about ~10 patchs. This is the last, guys. And this bug (if confirmed) is silent major bug. I use very often the quicksave. Its very practical. Otherwise, the game is awsome, its not a question of bashing. to confirm.

AndreaColombo : I think personnaly its a bad idea. The spiritform is extremly powerfull. Increase his power is a bad idea. OR !.... The bonus need to become reduced/nerf. Cat 33 % bonus speed ? = 25 % bonus speed. etc. If nof, I think its overpower. Understand me : I'm not against the idea. I defended the 1/Encounter for the barb (heart of the fury). Here, I prefer the 1/encounter with 25 % speed than 33% by rest. BUT NOT with 33 % / encounter. Its too much in my opinion.

Dear Developers, Lets do rock. My english is not at the best but its ok, I will try. First, I like this game for this principal reason : its a RPG with an intensive team play (6 characters). I play in path of the damned, and very often in team, because I like that. Test multiple possibilities etc. More, I like to have a lots of opportunities for "optimizations" for various build. (Nwn 2 !...Memories...) 1. How have we been at communicating with you guys? Its a great forum with great people. Staff and others. Wink to Aarik ! The staff listening and its a great thing. 2. What did you like about us? The best experience for RPG with Obsidian its for me Pillars of Eternity and Kotor 2. Both games I know (and Nwn 2 too ! obviously). Specifically, the best written character is for me Kreia (Darth Traya). Quality and quantity are different. But here, the same, Kreia overlooks all the game for our greatest pleasure. Its mentor and philosophical character. Its amazing, quite simply. You have also do a great job for the Barb and rogue in 3.03. Its important to note. 3. What kind of things would you like to see us improve on? 1. A certainty to not create news bug with new patch. 2. Loading time in endgame is very VERY problematic. I'm not the most to be pitied with my SSD. But, in endgame ~20s loading with a great material... 3. Improve some situations of pathfinding. OR create a buzzer when the action its impossible + the character don't move. Precisely when there is a barrage of characters in crownded place. 4. Its a plus, but a french dubbing (acoustic not written). This always enhance the immersion in my opinion, MOSTLY when there is lot of text (like Obsidian's games.)... 5. In same route, warning to... too much text. In my view, the text must serve a purpose. (Kreia is a perfect good exemple. The pleiad of NPC with boring story from... contributors is the negative exemple) 4. What would you like to hear from us in the future? Pillars of Eternity 2. I love the first. No reason to not be interrested. 5. Additional thoughts? No. Combat: What is the hardest fight you had in the game? What were your favorite and least favorite fights? Do you feel that there were any boss fights that were to overwhelming or underwhelming? What was so difficult about it? Let us know. For me, The hardest fight and -I like that- is the radiant spore. Its also because my team is glass canon oriented. I have recently found a good counter for this, with the chanter. Personnaly, I want and I desire this kind of battle. Its amazing to surpass a difficulty when you are interrested by the game. My favorite battle is the double dragon with the mage. Its a creative approach and I like that. One dragon its great but here, it was a pleasant surprise, and a challenge at my level. Its just a shame to not have the "permanent bonus" if the player take the risk of the confrontation^^. That said, its not a big problem because its one of the final battle, so it's not a big loss. Let's talk to a real shame...^^ the "famous" Kraken... Oh my god... Its VERY... VERY^^ disapointing. Sincerely, I don't understand why he is so weak... When you are level ~14, its a trash mob. For me, i say it, its a wasted time. It must raised its DR or/and HP --urgently--. (its my opinion). It break the impression of prestige of two extension ! I understand the concept of ease in normal difficulty, but much less in PotD... Additional Information: Are there any bugs that we missed you would like to see fixed that is not appearing in this list? Let us know about the top 5 bugs you would like to see fixed for the official 3.04 update and how we can reproduce them. I have not played to game since 3.02. I prefer say nothing about it.

I don't tell its totally overpower. But, there is a nerf for the sabers. From a certain point of view, Scion of flame + firebrand is more powerful than certain unique weapons. A critic with that do enormous damages. Personnaly, I think honestly its not a problem for the druid, because of the transformation. (lot better). But if we want to be logical, the power need also a nerf.

3.04? Update on our next patch
theBalthazar replied to Sking's topic in Pillars of Eternity: Announcements & News
Yes its a good idea. By extension. a +6 / 7 % to radius instead of 4.9 % could be a great idea. 4.9 % radius/10 % effect, I have check visually the difference. Its very light... it could be an interesting adjustment -
Its my principal problem with that. The game is not balanced (the world is not balanced). Personnally I think its a good thing. Pure equality is boring. Find the best team balancing is a pleasure for me. On the other hand, there is so much others nerf to applie. If we think saber is the most important nerf to applie immediatly = lol. - Stormcaller (no need durgan I think... best bow BY FAR^^) - A boost for all others soulbound (= really, really bad actually) - Nerf druid, wizard, priest. etc.

Ok ! Indeed. I agree.
