  2. SEE? SEE? Say no to BETAs.
  3. Auto kill.
  4. Another ungodly sized download. Its a BETA so I wouldn't touch it any way. *Waits for the final version.*
  5. Was it just kiss? I don't think so <{POST_SNAPBACK}> With my Revan it was more than a kiss.
  6. That it is. Every kill = EXPs
  7. Silly people. My Documents what a concept. I wonder what we should put in that folder? Documents maybe? But we are going off track. Bitching about the stupidity of Windows Vista should have its own thread.
  8. Now I understand why some people complain about the npc AI. Here's me after getting knocked down. My party is off somewhere far from me. I issue the command to protect me and no one comes as I am surrounded, getting the crap kicked out of me and being knocked out at that. Thinking ahead. Yeah don't worry guys I'll keep this in mind when you decide to go off on your own to fight a bunch of enemies. I'll stay behind and watch. Wow that dragon is going to hurt you bad when you won't be getting my spell support.
  9. I've seen that happen with Casavir while playing on D&D Hardcore. Basically, if an AoE damages a party member, they'll attack that party member if they don't have other orders. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> So that's how party members attack each other. I'll stick with the default difficulty setting.
  10. Lame.
  11. I open up the toolset to edit an existing item, which I intend to save under a different name, but its greyed out so I can't edit it.
  12. Show no mercy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This was the first time that I killed the lizardlings. They wouldn't acknowledge my superior strength and tried to attack me. ^_^ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Silly lizards they don't know warm bloods are superior over them.
  13. It was fullfilling and realistic. Try exploring those wooded areas at night. Bandits and other nasties spawn in. BG fullfilled my PnP needs, NWN2 came pretty close. I'm not knocking the game, I like it, it's the best RPG I have played in a while. Little things like more quests, buildings to explore, wilderness areas to explore go a long way with me.
  14. When I had my old ATI 9500 card it played fine. Now I have this new one, I get this little issue. Seems to be the only game its happening to. The important specs Pentium 3.0 1.5G RAM BFG GeForce 7800 GS OC 8x AGP, 256MB GDDR3 video card.
  15. BG was the greatest when it came to exploring various areas and places and mini quests. What happen to a great formula like that? Even BG2 didn't live up to that, not in many areas to explore at least.
  16. In the orc world strength is valued weakness is frowned on. By removing their weak links I'm sure they won't take it personal. Why allow an enemy to live to fight and kill another day when you can take them out right now? They live, they heal, they go out and massacre a village, how will that rest on your conscience? You could have eliminated this from happening but compassion got in the way and now more innocents are dead. Any way back to the game, the dialogue options I chose, I thought were pretty neutral in the way they were worded, not evil. But my NE character needed the evil points since she gained some good points earlier on.
  17. Still no reason to have such an empty place to explore. I'm an explorer, I so dislike dead end towns. Would be nice if you could go on board the ships.
  18. My girl Qara gave you some service, you failed to pay up dawg. I'm here to collect.
  19. Even though what brought this up was in NWN2 I think it applies to PnP in general. NWN2 in the orc caves you are faced with a situation. There are wounded orcs there that you can let go, they are too badly injured to fight or you can kill them. My two good aligned npcs say let them go. A paladin who I thought was their duty to smite evil suggested this. An option was to kill them, why let them live when they can heal and fight on another day. Khelgar says no it looks like they will not last the night. I ended up killing them, gained 9 evil points for the dialogue options I chose and lose influence with the two good aligned npcs. So this act is evil? Khelgar said they would not last the night, so by killing them, this would be a mercy killing. Why allow them to suffer a slow death when you can speed it along. This is not evil. Mr paladin I thought it was their duty to smite evil where ever it was regardless in what state the enemy was in. This is not evil, you are upholding your end by eliminating evil. The strange thing is the dialogue choices were not obviously evil in nature which I did not understand. Now if the options of: I'm going to enjoy gutting these weaklings! No, let them live, they will die a slow suffering death. Now those are evil options. What the game provided didn't seem evil. I wish I remembered them word for word. If a situation like this happened in a PnP game, would it be evil or not?
  20. With NWN2 being out and playing it I forgot about a problem I am having with my new video card (GeForce 7800 GS OC). It affects one game so far and that is Bloodlines. My character walks around and I take my hand off the key so they should stop but they keep going a little bit than stops like there is a delay between what the keyboard is doing and what shows up on the monitor. I never had this problem until I had this new card installed.
  21. It truly is a sad day. I blame Bush and his Fascism.
  22. Yay for cut content! See what happens when people rush game developers, simple things like this get the ax.
  23. Nothing feels better than a nice walk in the fire.
  24. Laziness. How hard is it to add an extra area that has some extra loot or people inside? If a door is locked, break it down. You go inside to rob the place and the guards are summoned on you. Not too difficult.
  25. No Inns. You get to sleep on the ground. There's only one building you can enter and that is a little mini quest that you get to do. Another beef I have is you should be able to go into buildings like you could in BG1. WTF is up with that? Sounds like lazy design.
