Now, I remember there being some debate about this a while ago, but I left and can't seem to find any of the threads where this used to be discussed. Finally got to playing the game and finished it twice, but I can't seem to find any robe with a hood up. Now, I understood that there would be no robes that could get the hood up and down, because that would require too much scripting or power from the engine or something like that, but the actual presence of a hooded robe, even without the option to put it down would be nice. So.. Does anyone know what robe/armor has a hood? Thanks in advance. Mr U

Well, I saved prior, and I tried two out of four. The first time I merged with Helios, the second I brought the Illuminati back in power. I prefered the latter though. For some reason, being an invisible hand in things, influencing, not leading directly appeals to me . Mr U

Forgive my ignorance, but what does the C in CRPG refer to? Although I have not played Kotor2, as my computer won't run it, I find it peculiar that a certain group of players would not find a challenge in the game. If there is a group of people who are experienced RPG-ers, and who need a bigger challenge, surely Obsidian could have created an additional difficulty setting, perhaps named 213374U? Especially when it is so simple. Although I am not yet ready to condemn Obsidian for anything, I do feel that a broad difficulty spectrum (easy for the ff players, difficult for the experienced players) is important. Mr U

I was being ironic in reference to the history of the US. The mere idea of restricting history to a region, instead of mankind is absurd. Nationalism is absurd. Why should it make any difference to the greatness of anyone in which region he is born? Alternatively, why should any 'American' feel proud of what someone in his country has achieved more than a man is proud of what another man has achieved? Why should we limit our pride, our feelings of valor to a region or historical period. I suggest changing the purpose of this thread to discussing the greatest (wo)man ever in existance. ---- Anti-asylum? Come on. Our current asylum system is being abused by thousands. I cried when I saw Oscar Schindler next to Gandhi. I don't consider Ayaan Hirsi Ali a populist. Wilders is, indeed, populistic, though I agree with him on some issues, Turkey not joining the EU for example. I will agree however, that Ayaan Hirsi Ali is not a good 'congress-member', She is just more suited making Submission parts, writing books and coming up for the rights of the muslim woman in other ways. Anyshoe, I don't think the US has any true heroes. The nation is too young for that, and instead they worship quasi-/semi-heroes. Stop nationalism, start nihilism and moral relativism! Mr U

It's Pim Fortuyn, and I disagree with him on both being conservative, and being racist. Fact is, he changed his opinion so damn often he didn't know what he was. He was an opportunist and a populist. Rather amusing coming from someone who feels the constant urge to tell other people what to do. You see, the beauty of the whole is that I do not have to make up stories at all. Freedom of religion means that people are allowed to believe what they want. Whether this relates to deities or simply plants is irrelevant. As soon as someone claims that only he is right, and forces that view unto others, he is robbing people of their rights. 'palpatine won' is a conclusion. Observing a fight is an observation. Freedom of speech and freedom of religion mean that everyone is free to attach their own conclusions to their observations. Not only do you imply here that only you are correct and that only you hold the 'truth', you also rob others from their freedom of speech and religion, and although a board is by no means a valid way of exercising one's rights, you do not have the right to put boundaries on the behaviour of others. On another site, people made fun of my name, and called me a gay person, even writing fanfics about their sexual fantasies. In any way, in an attempt to not let them down, I took the 'gayest' color I could find and took it as my own . Now, I should add that I am in fact not gay, although I am happy, occasionally. I now realise that I should never have left the safety of the Kotor 2 section. I have merely one question to the author of this thread: Why? Why should we stop the senseless violence against female villains? Because you won't buy the Xmen 2 DVD, or perhaps because you won't go to Xmen 3? I do not understand why movies and other forms of art should be censored for content because someone believes it is related to 'sex'. When I watched Xmen 2, I was bothered by a lot of things, not in the least to say that I did not believe the actor playing Logan was convincing as Wolverine, and several other faults of picking the wrong guy for the job (except of course Patrick Steward and Sir Ian McKellen), but not at all by this combat. Although I have no illusion that this movie was aimed at me as an audience, I do not feel you are part, nor want to be part of that mainstream audience. I very much applaud the reply of anari_quun, whom you, in my eyes, almost completely ignored. As he so very well states some of the issues the world sees today that are so much more important for people to stand for. Oh, and on the issue of sex, although I do not believe myself to be an expert on the matter, I don't recall ever seeing sperm coming out of a woman's eye, let alone forming a tear. Mr U

What interests me is that some believe TSL to be a mediocre game. Rather, I believe they mean that they think TSL is a mediocre game. I'm rather confused about how arrogant people can be when it comes to their opinion and expressing it as a fact. Basically: 'who the hell do you think you are?' On regard of the, what some described as, whining, I can only add that I regret that some people feel that their opinion is somehow more valid than that of others, and continue to argue of meaningless points when it is obvious either side is merely defending opinions. Whether or not TSL sucks or not is completely irrelevant, especially in a thread about KOTOR 3 Personally, a perspective from Revan and the Exile would be entertaining, but I fear that this would make the game to easy. Perhaps they could make the Exile female (most people don't like K2 anyway, so I doubt they will be offended ), and have them have a child. You, than play that side, as all sides try to ally you with them and vice versa. Than, as you side towards one side, or remain neutral, the losers try to strike you down out of jealousy and frustration. It should make for an easy start, and a difficult end of the game. Also should open a possibility of guilds. Mr U

1] Z-axis. This could add a whole new layer of depth to the game. Imagine a two-story building. A consular might run in, while a guardian might just jump through the window on the second floor and suprise all those juicy sith/jedi minions inside . 2] Large-city like environments. Tatooine, I thought, was dissapointing because it lacked size. Even if the city turns monotonous through it, I would enjoy larger cities. 3] Dynamic city environment. I'm not asking for day-night-cycles (Although it would be nice), but rather for people walking around in the city. Sometimes someone can be found in the bar, than in a house, et cetera. Variety. 4] Purchasable vessels. Though I'm not sure about real-time space-combat, having the option of buying a more advanced vessel, with cargo would be nice (Perhaps limit the total amount of items to the size of the cargo hold?) 5] Overhaul armor system. Add a 'cape' slot, which can be filled with a cape/hood. This should not increase the total amount of armor/robes drastically, while still allowing people to customise their clothing. Perhaps force the texture of the cape/hood to adapt to the texture of the robe. 6] If Tatooine is included, remove the Czerka markers. I seriously doubt that Czerka corporation would operate deeply in the desert, and lead their markers to the doorstep of a Kreyt dragon's lair. 7] Include HK-47. Kotor would not be the same without it. 8] Add a genoharadan(-like) mission that will have you hunting Carth Onasi's identical twin brother down. Mr U

In KOTOR 1, my consular was quite capable of holding his own with a sabre, as I did not invest in ranged weapons at the start, but immediately in melee/lightsabre feats. My advice to you is to go Consular until level 15, after which If I were you, I would toss most points in Wisdom, and what you have left in Strenght/Constitution. Mr U

Actually, I disagree with that. Lightsabre-attacks, in my opinion were highly unbalancer versus the movies. I estimate that when I get hit with a lightsabre, I won't be getting up to wave my vibroblade for another go. I'm starting to understand why cortosis is so rare in the movie-ages... They used it all in KOTOR :D. Mr U

80% of water? You mean that our entire planetary core has vanished and that only the surface remains? I guess the Apocolypse has come.... By the way, as a gamer, I have found that although I know of quite some explots/bugs in games, I usually avoid them. It might spoil a game if you abuse them, but I do not feel it will make the game such. Is level 40 really that important? Just download the Savegame editor, add all the feats and powers and pretend it reads 40 instead of 20. Mr U

The thought of Carth being blown to bits after he betrayed me seems to bring great comfort . Also, I would much enjoy blowing up Taris, so I beat Malak to it. Ha! Mr U
