  1. I'd rather shoot his knee, but whatever works.
  2. That's exactly the same thing Captain Price asks when he first meets you.
  3. Mace's saber is purple because he truly is Samuel L. Jackson. Or, because he's chosen saber style draws on his dark impulses, so, a color that moves between good and evil. Or something.
  4. Unfinished game leads to unanswered questions and empty dialogues.
  5. It's obviously Trask Ulgo. Btw, if you don't know who Trask Ulgo is, well, you suck.
  6. Although I voted for Darth Malak, I have to protest. You forgot tu put Sherruk (the mandalorian raiders leader in K1). To me he was, and still is, the hardest boss in the KotOR saga.
  7. And being able to kill anything is bad because...? I mean, I don't play video games for the challenge. I'm not a puzzle guy. I play them for fun and escapism. Plus, having already beaten this game like 4 times, I'm looking for something new to do.
  8. Very easy. Dantooine is the easiest. Hell, the jedi enclave ruins has two parts: Jorran and the dead salvagers. Sure, for the dead salvagers you have to take a darkside hit... but it's easily regained. Besides, it's not like your hurting anyone, I mean, one dead guy left the claim to the other dead guy.
  9. Thanks mr raider. Unfortunately, I am highly averse to TWF unless I am playing darkside, and even then. But, this is easily fixed: dueling feats. Yeah, I know two weapons are better than one but I'm one of those that like the "classic" jedi look. But thanks a lot for the build. One question though, isn't 18 con a bit of overkill? I mean, I don't plan on relying on implants so I'll probably go 13 at start-up and 14 at lvl 4 or 8. As far as wisdom and char go, those are good calls. Since I will play LSM, then Wisdom mod is going as up as I can during level ups. Overall, thanks for such a detailed answer.
  10. OK, I am going to give K2 another shot. Having recently finished K1 with a very fun build (Scout/Guardian), I thought of doing this same thing in K2. I love force jump. Unfortunately, after browsing around the forums I found that jump apparently doesn't work as well in this game. Is this true? I would like to know before getting my lightsaber (would hate to do Peragus twice in a row...). Thanks in advance. Btw, Force armor's broken, right? All levels of it? Any other broken powers/feats?
  11. JAJAJAJ By the size of the cannock, I reckon it was Master Vandar's robes.
  12. HAHAHAHAHA A cannock just dropped a jedi master robe!!!! I love being level 32. I 'm gonna go for 50 after this!
  13. I'm at level 32. Just beat Onderon (when you gain Mandalore) and now am going to Nar Shaddaa to level up some more (using the Diseased Refugee glitch). Mind you, I already beat this game twice as LS once as DS so I wanna get to lvl 50 in order to get some loot.
  14. Wow... Maybe you could try playing on X-Box? As a last resort of course...
  15. Just got the damn Kaiburr cristal. Unfortunately, I'm also using my PC cristal, which means, the damn bonuses don't stack. Stupid cristal... I don't know why Luke and Vader made such a big deal over it...
  16. No I think it's because they are NOT good enough to wield two lightsabers like you are. You don't hit very accurate with two lightsabers unless you have all the feats. The three basic two wepaon or double bladed weapon feats are a very useful feats but then if you go Weapons Master or Sith Maruader you get another three feats of master two weaponsfighting. Also they may have the other two feats I believe it is where you get a denfensive bonus for single bladed lightsabers. You may have all the super double bladed feats and they may have the single bladed feats. Get the picture. Two of the jedi masters had two lightsabers or double bladed. Only lightsaber masters can really use two lightsabers or double bladed lightsabers super effectivley. Two lightsabers allows an extra attack and you can put different upgrades in them to do lots of different damage types or boost other effects to fully take advantage of the enemys weakness. EDIT: Also just another thing about the topic is that I think the Qinxia crystal (however it's spelled) and ultiamte diatuim energy cell work perfect together because you can make lightsabers that AVERAGE very high. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, RPwise, I feel a whole lot weaker by haveing to rely on two lightsabers/a doule-bladed one. Unless I'm darkside. Gameplay-wise, you are correct. Two light sabers/a double is superior. I mean, fighting damn cannoks is a whole lot easier.
  17. Malak is cool. A whole lot better than 'toilet flushing backwards for a language' Nihilus. Why? Malak had that old pulp/comic book/Darth Vader thing going for him. And at the final confrontation he says some pretty neat things, particularly after beating him. Nihilus, for being on the cover art and all, is just a character that's there. A villain for you to fight but you never get any scenes with him (outside the one with Visas where he force chokes her). You never know his particular motivations, outside sucking up force sensitives, and reasons for his involvement in the galactic problems. (WTF was Tobin doing on the ravager anyway?) Or maybe I just don't remember them... must be because he is way too superfcial for my tastes. On a side note, I liked how Malak looked. I thought his effeminate stance looked awesome. On the other hand, Sion came off as being 'macho,' which I liked, although at the end he's really all 'broken up' on the inside. which I also liked . It gives diversity.
  18. I don't know jack about computers but I just had to say that your game looks seriously creepy. That whole Atton pic? That was very f-ed up. 'Exile in Surrealand" On topic, as stated before, I don't know jack about computers. I can only wish you good luck and hope that it gets resolved soon.
  19. That's not a fault: an ethical dilemma does not have a "right" and "wrong" answer. You don't recall the comment (by Callisto) about the magification of mutation? (It was a major theme, what with Jean Grey being the only "category five", and Magneto and Pyro being the only ones in the church that were "category three" or above.) It makes sense in a bell curve distribution that most of the population are only moderately affected. Wow, you really have a lot to learn about relationships! (You should have restrained yourself from that last comment.) You do realise that more than one person can love another AT THE SAME TIME, right? And it is possible to love more than one person at the same time, right? (E.g. it is possible to love both a mother AND a father at the same time.) Hint: the intertron is your friend. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> First: Don't patronize me. I know that you can love more than one person at the same time. I criticize that particular moment because the movies made clear that she loved Cyclops. Also, it came off as cheesy and lame. It didn't made me feel anything. Second: I must make myself clear about the "tied up plots" remark. What I meant to say was that the two plots in the movie were not tied up together in any way. I was not talking about resolution, I know it's an ethical dilemma, hence the difficulty of an easy answer.
  20. Trask can't become permanent... *SPOILERS* He's Darth Nihilus... kidding.
  21. You are right. Although I've managed to count around 3 different Jedi that are dual wielding: 2 of them in the Windu/Fett duel (I know they're different because one is in the background fighting behind Windu while the other is behind Fett). Don't remember th third one though. I'm sure that I'll find him if I watch the movie again. On my first play I went double sabers (same in KOTOR). My second play, as darkside, I went double-bladed, in both 1 and 2. Nowadays I play using only one, I feel kinda weak having to go against Malak/Nihilus/Sion with two sabers or a double when they only use one. But that's a very personal thing of mine...
  22. X-men :The lasr stand Still reeling from its suckiness. Almost as bad as Jake Lloyd as Anakin.
  23. Hmm... a more action oriented KOTOR doesn't sound bad at all. Maybe like Jade Empire but with controllable companions? And instead of different fighting styles d different saber stances (each with their own 3-4 attack animations and combos)? Oh yeah, and jumping. Love jumping.
  24. This movie sucks. To clarify about me: I don't buy nor read X-universe comics, only have the entire of Grant Morrison's run (in trades) and JOss Whedon's first arc (also in trade). I bought into Morrison's New X-men because the title actually felt New. And I like him, so... With that out of the way, I have to say that the movie blows. Why? Too many unecessary deaths, underused characters billed as main, two main plots that remain completely unrelated and are never tied up together in any way. And they remain completely underdeveloped. And last, but not least, the "last stand" battle sucked major @$$. Why? The Brotherhood was composed of 100+ 'mutants,' out of which only 5-6 actually used any powers. They did'nt even looked different! It actually played out like a large streetfight, not a 'war.' (Same thing with mutant protestors, they were just random extras. What happen with the really f-ed up mutations? At least paint someone red or green or have someone glowing fer christ sakes...) Oh, and what's up wit magneto's sentries at the forest, carrying shotguns and stuff? For a second I thought I was at a Van Damme film... Oh yeah, never mind that 'evil mutants' actually mean dressing up in a goth-industrial-punk manner. Steriotypes at work. I have said enough in this post, so I'm signing off. One last thing, "I'm doing it for you. Because I love you." Ok, how about Cyclops actually saying this? That would be believable since he's F-ING JEAN GREY'S LOVE AS EXPLICITLY STATED IN X1 AND X2 (nevermind the comics, this actually breaks the movie canon!).
