  1. Wow. I didn't even catch that! Oh Desmond's the best of the entire series (excluding the premiere).
  2. 22X? Are you kidding? Or do you mean a rating of 2.2? Sorry. I meant 22 episodes for Season 4. The ratings haven't been up very much since Exodus Pt.2
  3. Yup. 22x I predict a new movie franchise like Star Trek and/or other shows about fleets that escaped the attack on the colonies.
  4. Yesterday started with a late-out-of-bed-rush-breakfast-dressing-up-start-the-car-and-leave-for-work-that-I-hate. Again. I did a lot of work at... work though. Didn't slack off too much which is always good. Did 12 nestings, which was twice as much as the other two. Combined. I rock! Once back home I checked on our little pug. She's been sick for a couple of days. Then we went out for groceries. I hate shopping for food but I love spending time with my lovely pregnant wife. We had dinner watching wednesday's Lost, then we dove into the first two episodes of Jericho. Good show! A pretty standard day. Now it's friday morning. I had another late-out-of-bed-rush-breakfast-dressing-up-start-the-car-and-leave-for-work-that-I-hate but this being friday, it ain't so bad.
  5. It is true. He was caught with the steroids. I think he even admitted that he was taking them after he had been caught. You can
  6. Wow. Harsh. Why are you watching again? It was obvious from the start that something on the Island made people's wishes come true. Now I'm thinking Walt was so important because, like Locke, he found something out about the place. Remember the comic book and the bear? Walt also seemed to have "powers" outside of "the box". So what is preferable, a boy who can make things appear with his mind or a box that listens to what you want and gives it to you? Both are ridiculous, thats why somethings are still acceptable in a science fiction setting. I thought the stupidest person on the island was Kate. Knowing the Others the way she does, she never expected cameras in Jack's house? And i twouldn't surprise me that Kate, John and Sayid are being manipulated by ALL the others, including Alex and Jack. Yes, I'm saying the sub was a ruse and Ben can walk. But that's just me.
  7. That game was fun. I never got past the second last level. I kept dying in the area with the infinitely respawning Templars. Thanks for the heads up. I never played it. I've been looking forever for it and I found it really, really cheap. Do I need to be famillier with the C&C franchise to enjoy? Because I'm not. :blush10:
  8. C&C Renegade. Just starting. I need upgrades for my PC. I'm bored(with gaming).
  9. Finally! I've been waiting to read something from someone on GW. So then you're saying it's a great game?
  10. A game needs to keep my interest. This happens with surprises and/or constant progression. RPGs work well for this because the character is always gaining something, wether it's loot or exp and the story can keep me surprised. Also, if a game doesn't hook me in the first 30 minutes of playing, I'll stop and probably never play again. Controls are also very important to me. If I input the command to go right, my guy better turn right right away, without any lag, jitter or whatever. What I can do with the controls, the innovation of using the device is also important. For example, I loved the way we switched weapons in MGS. It was simple, fast and smart. I don't mind grinding and/or random encounters if the combat is fun from the start. If my only option from lvl 1 to 10 is hacking a sword, I'll get bored very quickly. If I can, gradually and from the start, acquire moves and powers that I can use right away(and effectively-I'm looking at you FF12!) in combat(again, constant progression) the game will hook me right away. I don't need a Sleep spell that doesn't connect because my magic level isn't high enough. If I spend AP points(or whatever) to get a spell, I expect to be able to use it right away as this is a strategy I wish to try/use right away. If I've been grinding for 2 hours to get the 100 APs I need for the spell, get it and then it fails to connect on basic encounters, I'll get p1ssed and drop the game. Of course the publisher already has my money so who cares but you know what I mean.
  11. Yep. Ep 2 should've been some training there. At least "The Trials". Instead we got some political idioties and "intrigue".
  12. I think he meant Skid Row's lead singer?
  13. ROCKY BALBOA I really liked it. Reminiscent of Rocky 1. Some very cheesy scenes and dialog at some times but overall a great film. I didn't expect it to get to me the way it did. The speech he gives to his son Peter( ) pulled a tear out of my eye. And the fight must be one of the best filmed boxing match ever. Stallone was in great shape, showing some very decent acting chops.
  14. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/144,000 Oh my god. 12 tribes and a song? (sorry I'm thinking out loud about the BSG prophecies)
  15. Octavian's wife is a bit psycho...
  16. Band: AC/DC Movie: E.T. TV Series: Battlestar Galactica Cartoon: G.I. Joe Book: The Lord of the Rings Comic Book: Spiderman PC Video Game: Ultima Underworld : The Stygian Abyss Console Video Game: Final Fantasy VII Games Console: PC
  17. You mean Shelley Godfrey. Another #6 model. She was never in Baltar's head. No one knows what happened to her. She just dissapeared. It's a plot hole until her character comes back. By the way, there is no "original" . Only Cylon . Cylons aren't replicas of orginal humans. They are original Cylon creations. Machines created by machines, made up of organic components instead of mechanical. Season 3 struggled a lot in ratings so no one expects a fifth.
  18. Still unexplained in the series. I think it has nothing to do with being a Cylon or not. I think it's all in Baltar's head, like a form of schizophrenia induced by extreme lonelyness. An "imaginary friend" in the shape of someone extremely close to the "ill". He bangs his own head against walls and tables, physically reacting to his delusion. Thats what I think anyway but why else would Adama be subjected to the same phenomenon once a year(A Day in the Life)?
  19. Since Tori can't sleep, I think she can hear it too. Plus the previews for next week revealed them all I think. Just before Anders says: "Face it guys, we're all Cylons".
  20. Psycho whore is dead! Yipee!
  21. Wow. Crossroads 1 was one of the best episode of the season. 3 of the final five are pretty much revealed. Roslin drops an emotional bomb during the trial because Lee is being an a$$ to impress his father. Michael Hogan(Tigh) gives his best performance to date on the show. A couple of gigantic cliffhangers at the end. The previews for next week made my jaw dropped. And to think almost a year will go by before Season 4 begins! :'(
  22. OMG it's so obvious now! Jesus is a cylon!
