  1. Hey, you said it, not me.
  2. Irrelevant. I have said twice now, he remembers the first, and the last few, (the ones of recent years) but not a lot in the middle. Why? Human nature. Hell, even I tend to do the same thing, without a set of notes or materials in front of me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, I only made it up to page 9. I imagine you have abandoned the idea that they were mentioned in reverse chronological order? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, they are done in reverse, I just think those are the only ones he can remember. And as I can remember the first time I kissed someone, and when I kissed my wife ten minutes ago, but not every one in between, I feel he remembers most of the last few and the first one Revan had.

  4. *Yawn* ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.............................
  5. I like Lord Vaders Force Choke. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kinky......... "
  6. No, you sidestep the point. His training of his wife was hidden, but his marriage was well known. He was not exiled for having a relationship. That's the on point precedent. The aside is he didn't even get exiled for training her behind the Order's collective back after they refused to.
  7. He's right, it's a plot hole. Same prefix, same skeleton, there's a saying, "If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...." Someone should have recognized the HK-50s for what they are.
  8. Well then, I'd say pick up Battlefront 2 and be prepared to shell out an extra twenty or so. It's got much more going for it on the single player side, and there's still a few others playing it online. I enjoy it pretty well.
  9. BFMC is Battlefield 2 for the xbox. That's what it's billed as anyway.
  10. I already have it... (and I ment Star Wars Battlefront) Deadly_Nightshade <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I enjoyed Battlefront, though I did wait until it went Platnium Hits on xbox before I picked up a copy of it. It's got all the elements for a great game, but something is just not there to pull it all together. 1-10? I'd go 6. 7 if anyone was ever on live for me to play against anymore. They did do much better on the sequel, (which is a bit of a rarity I know) kind of like they lost focus in the middle of making the first, and realized it, and concetrated better on the second to make sure they got it right. The sequel I give a 8. BFMC (Also known to some as Battlefield 2) is one of the most annoying things I have ever played in my life. Again, lots of great elements, but the maps are WAY too big. If you don't have a vehicle nearby, you are in for a frustrating time on foot, and you'll get sniped LONG before you get anywhere. If they'd shrink all the maps 25% I'd have probably enjoyed it better, 35% and I'd have loved it. And I am that guy who manages to respawn three seconds after the whole team left the area with all the vehicles, that my luck. Run run run, get sniped, repeat. Very frustrating.
  11. Even then, it wasn't established is my point. Corran Horn's Grandfather married, had a son, and was kiled in the purge, and his wife and child hid. He wasn't exiled for his marraige. I'm telling you it may be frowned on, but there isn't one single exile ever handed out for having a family anywhere in the movies, the literature, or the games. It's as much in the heads of those doing so as anything else. They fear persecution that never happens, because they are told not to do it. It's a bluff is all I'm saying.
  12. Okay. Got it that time. You were thinking too fast as you were typing, because the two don't resemble each other much.
  13. Oh, man, that was wrong, to even think about it.
  14. Aha. I was confrused. Which sometimes isn't that hard, I know.
  15. I know, but how important is really whether she had the child before or after? I mean, the way Bastila describes in K1, the tradition of cutting the connections to the family has mostly something to do with the emotions between family being so strong that it becomes very difficult for a jedi to see past them. Yet they trained Nomi anyway. Consider if Nomi had fought HK-47. HK tells the Exile to attack the jedi's friends, so HK attacks Vima instead of Nomi. How would Nomi react to that? Would she be susceptible to fall the dark side as a consequence? I think she would - the mother-child relationship is about as strong a bond as I can imagine and seems to be virtually impossible for a mother to see beyond. Whether it is Nomi's "fault" or not is just a secondary consideration next to that, yet the masters still didn't hesitate to train Nomi... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You lost me somewhere in there. Reword please, I didn't understand.
  16. Ehhh! Wrong. Vandar himself says "we are not a cloistered order." It's always been frowned upon, but the fact remains there is yet to be a single formal exile handed out over having a wife, or a child, or a relationship.
  17. I say we hold Metadigital down and make him eat some polygon soup.
  18. Okay, do you mean Battlefront, (Star Wars 3rd person shooter) or Battlefield (semi modern day 1st person shooter)
  19. I am planning on waiting until it's finished, although I'm sure they could use the money for hosting costs if nothing else.
  20. Nope, three seconds. The only way I could prove this is Statis field lasted four turns, and in it's description it clearly states that it freezes opponents for 12 seconds.
  21. Possibly. One thing I will say, getting back to Morrow-cuts-wind, is that not only did it have no predictable story (from what I have read, you didn't even get to understanding there was one until you read a lot of stuff) lots of running about, and what's the word, clunky interface, even on the xbox (which was the version I tried.) So it failed, went back, and I believe the next game I rented was Midnight Club, which was comic bookish enough in its format so I could actually win some races, but the music annoyed the hell out of me.
  22. Well, Nomi already had the kid by that time, I'll give them that. However, her husband was a Jedi, and he wasn't exiled, and when he died she was asked to train and take his place. Hmmmm............
  23. Yeah, JE was a lost cause after not very far into it. I don't think it'll leave as much wiggle room as you think. The ability to pause, set up everybody for the next twelve seconds, (four three second turns) and then repause and adjust if neccesary was one of the things I loved about KOTOR.
