I just spent about an hour looking through the FAQs looking for this and came up with nothing but a headache. (those things are HUGE) Have they removed the ability to "put on" and "remove" your hood on your robe? I heard this feature has been removed and that would really be unfortunate. Not a dealbreaker for me, but unfortunate.

You guys really don't see the difference? This hilt looks to have some sort of pattern going down it. Maybe I'm just seeing things... Also, who is the guy in the "Sith Armor" I keep seeing in all the screens? His armor looks to be a bit different than the Sith Armor from Kotor I...

I was looking on www.lucasarts.com and noticed the "screenshot of the week." If you look at the guy's saber hilt, it isn't the regular smooth silver hilt seen in KOTOR I and in other screens for KOTOR II. Someone let me know if I'm just seeing things.... (and yes, I realize after posting this that I should've posted in the Kotor 2 general discussion... so let the flaming begin...)

The point would be to have another part of your character to customize and add special abilities to.

So I was thinking of all the things that they could've done to make KOTOR better, when it hit me---mechanical limbs!!! Your character could loose an arm or hand like Luke or Vader and replace it with a mechanical one. On top of this, they could make the limbs upgradeable with special Str, Dex, or even weapons feats. I'm sure this idea has been posted before, but I'm lazy and don't feel like searching so whatever. Anyway, what do you guys think?

Wow. After reading some of these posts, perhaps I should've named this thread "George Lucas is a moron and here's why". I think it's hard to live up to the impossible expectations that everyone has concerning the Star Wars Universe. Maybe it would help to look at some other pieces of sci-fi and compare. You'll find yourself saying "maybe Episode II wasn't what I had expected but MAN it was better than Starship Troopers!!!!" :angry: <_< :D

You can lose the turrent minigame? Wow. just when you think you know everything there is to know about a game...

While I liked Thrawn, nothing compares to Vader for me. It's a combination of the look, voice, and overall terror that Vader struck into the heart of all he encountered that makes him the greatest villan ever. IMO of course!!!

This is the most original idea I've heard on these forums in weeks. If this doesn't get implemented then I'm going on a hunger strike.... or something.

How many people complained about it being too difficult? Most complaints I heard about it was that it was silly because it was so ridiculously easy that it just wasted their time (aside from the obvious complaint that it happened too often...which again goes back to time)...but since this is all anecdotal, it's moot. Weren't you required to race swoops at one point in the game? First off, I will address a little concern. I have no problem when you say something like "think." The problem is that you seem to "think" that only your ideas are plausible, and "think" that if you don't like an idea, it's obviously a bad one. However, for some reason you "think" that a minigame for lightsaber construction must rely on player skills....and that it must "reward" the player skill. Not once did I mention that players that do better in the minigame (providing it's a game where someone can actually do "better") get a better reward. I wanted more involement in the construction of the lightsaber....I didn't want to get a better lightsaber because I could complete the puzzle faster or whatever. I wanted the game to put me more in the role (a keyword in roleplaying) of constructing the lightsaber in someway, rather than removing me from the immersion and suspension of disbelief by making me stop playing the game simply to watch my character move around his hands. For some reason you champion the virtues of the "role" in roleplaying....yet don't mind watching your character. Furthermore, why don't you think more outside the box, since it does seem that people (including yourself) don't mind a little diversion from the repetitiveness of gameplay. Why not have the minigames be dependent on your PC's abilities (and this goes waaaaaaay beyond a minigame simply for constructing a weapon). If you have crazy high abilities in a certain (or multiple) skills, make the game easier. And obviously......make them optional. Fact is you go spouting off your own subjective views about what is or is not a good idea, and claim it to be THE fact. To use a cliche...it's your way or the highway. Aside from the "fact" that the preceding statement doesn't really make any sense, people are annoyed because you are the self-proclaimed authority and what should or should not go into a game......there is no discussion or anything....it's just whether or not you agree. This is also why people don't really care what you say on the board. I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices this close minded "I'm the only one who's EVER right about ANYTHING" attitude. Maybe I shouldn't have blown up like I did, but this has been going on for at least as long as I've been a member

I've been on these forums for about two weeks now, and everytime I start a thread with an original idea, or see a thread containing an original thought, you show up and try to sh!t all over everthing everyone has to say. Great idea about the upgrades to the 'Hawk. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they already said that they didn't plan to make the 'Hawk upgradeable. <_< But maybe if enough people cry about it... They still won't do it :D :D

No it would work. Think about the first KOTOR. On the Leviathan, your party split up then. The PC led one group with Carth and Bastilla and Canderous led the other. It would've been really cool to play as Canderous clearing his way through the hanger with HK and Zalbaar in tow.

That's true about the storage bins. I think one of the ways they're trying to correct this is having the ability to break down all of your worthless items into parts you can use to upgrade. This helps because you don't have that surplus of crap cluttering up everything all the time.

I remember waiting for the first KOTOR to come out and it got pushed back SO many times..... Of course, they announced this game after it was well into development (which I like) and they already have the engine so who knows....

I know. But it would be nice if it were true. EBGames has been wrong in the past, but sometimes they seem to know the true release dates before they're ever announced.

So I was on ebgames.com and noticed that they moved the date from Feb 05 to Dec 04. Are they completely off or do they know something we don't?
