Most of KOTOR's appeal is based on it's pre-scripted story. ( That and the fact it's a Star Wars RPG. ) Take away the characters, and there isn't too much story left to tell. B) That said, with the exception of Carth, sure I'd like to see them again.

Some risks are worth taking. Unfortunately, I don't think expanding Carth's personal dramas is among them. Dustil should stay out of the picture in KOTOR II, if he knows what's good for him. B)

So Obsidian is the victim here? Maybe, Maybe not. I mean, I know Lucas Arts holds some major sway over Obsidian, but how could they not know that LA was blatently lying all over the web? Just curious...

^Eru, the number of people on this forum are barely a dribble in the total sales of Lucas Arts, and pulling your pre-order is hardly going to cause a shrug in upper-management. The better strategy is to deluge them with e-mail.

So let's review our options: 1) Wait and Wait and Wait...then check the calender....then Wait some more...then keep waiting...make a snow angel... then go back to waiting...follow this with multiple long periods of waiting...then wait...change positions...wait wait wait and wait... ummmm...then wait, and then prepare to wait some more, and finally, wait. OR.... 2) Buy an X-box. ^(I'm guessing most of you already have your checkbook out.)

Thanks for your stories. A good read, and a few scattered laughs (Hades One "because I can" <- ). It was refreshing to see I'm not that different from everyone else on these forums, and apparently just as obessed. B)

I know we all have a story to tell. Mine's actually remarkably boring: I needed a new game, had a gift certificate I needed to spend, and KOTOR had the coolest cover. Basically, what I'm asking is what originally made you buy KOTOR: Are you a Star Wars fan, a CRPG fan, or were you simply attracted to the cover, like me?
