Hmm... Change of mind
^But it created more loose ends than it tied, which bugs me to no end. All I can say is if they add another new PC in Kotor 3, we're probably gonna need flow charts to keep track of the plot.

KOTOR III after KOTOR II!
Kinda funny how this thread goes in cycles. Posters always start out with good intentions but soon become hopelesly lost and mangled in their own personal fantasies about KOTOR 3 until they start launching debates and breaking down plotlines for what is at best a poorly planted rumour describing a phantom title spawned of wishful thinking and misguided substance-driven speculation. Then some floater wanders in and hits them hard with the reality check that absolutely nothing has been confirmed by either company and probably wont be for quite some time. Their fantasies are crushed and there is a breif period of silenece and reflection. Then the cycle begins again, and timidly the posters regress to a place in their mind where KOTOR 3 is real, and fairies dance and sing on their shoulder and tinkle chocolate syrup into a silver bucket next to their keyboard every fifteen minutes. It's a beautiful image, but it's based on nothing but faith. Personally I see no end in sight. Don't worry, I'll check back a couple times before the rapture and see if any true progress has been made in this conversation. If so, I will personaly pee chocolate syrup into a cup for each of you and tatoo Jar Jar Binks on my ass with a taser. If you think I'm lying, try me. If you think I've had way too much Mountain Dew tonight, have a cookie, you're right.

KOTOR III after KOTOR II!
^To summarize, basically what you want is KOTOR 1 repackaged with a new label. Obsidian are you hearing this? Your next project was already completed two years ago! Whip up some artwork and you could go gold next week! (w00t) (w00t) (w00t) Of course I agree with some of your points (#2, #4 esp.) but KOTOR 3 needs to take its own path. Rehashing the same formula can only work consecutively so many times, and hollywood has already proven this quite conclusively with several of their less memorable extended sagas. (i.e. Jurassic Park 3, Jaws 4, AVP.) Need I say more?

killing party members
I'd have to agree with most of you guys. The characters from KOTOR 1 were memorable, and were introduced smoothly and seamlessly into the storyline. In KOTOR 2, the character introductions and dialogue trees felt choppy and frenzied, and after initial hellos, most party members had less to say than Arnold Schwartzenegger in Terminator 3. The net result of this being if KOTOR 3 opened with my entire Sith Lords crew meeting some unspeakably gruesome and untimely demise in a little-traveled sector of the galaxy, I probably wouldn't even bat an eyelash. ->On a side note: The storyline was pretty good. It was nice to get through an entire game without having to tolerate a single Gizka infestation.

How many devs still working on the pc version?
^Then why are you here??? ->There's other forums out there you know, nobody's forcing you to talk about KOTOR. ->If you don't like Lucas Arts or their products, then why in are you investing so much time gracing these forums with responses?

Are You Worried About Bugs In KOTOR II?
"Then you are an idiot" -Hades ^Don't take this demon kitty too seriously, Alex. I think if you choose to pay more attention to the content and story of the game than to obsess over minor graphical/continuity issues (which exist in more than one recent title), you'll hardly notice the bugs. But then again, maybe my optimism has gotten the best of me.
