In the beta I think it was only elemental damage but I may be misremembering

The All-Things Cinema thread
I liked it well enough. It's a dumb Disney ride-based action adventure fun and I've had a crush on Emily Blunt since she was in the time traveling alien flick with Thomas Mapother IV.

The All-Things Cinema thread
Yeah, I was hopeful it was going to come out on streaming the same day like Black Widow and Rock Cruise but now I guess I'll just see it when I see it.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Owlcat Games' next isometric Pathfinder RPG
Tested the mod and it works with the release version of the game, at least the stuff I tested does. Would recommend the mod if you want to test. Menu based if you don't want to edit a json file

What are you Playing Now: Living the Game Life
Now I have a really strong urge to go check out all the BG1 pics. I think I started with BG2 so I never really spent a lot of time with BG1. Me as I view the pics

The TV and Streaming Thread: Series 5
TOS, Enterprise, and Voyager are leaving Netflix at the end of September. I just watched In The Cards DS9 episode. I dunno why but this episode has always been one of my favorites.

2 more years and I could have made a terrible Harry Potter joke that nobody would probably get.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Owlcat Games' next isometric Pathfinder RPG
Going to say min-maxing unless you're playing on an easier setting or are exceptionally good at these kinds of games but even then there are some serious difficulty spike encounters. I think they're mostly if not all optional but you may not know that when you encounter them. It is definitely a game where you can build yourself into a hole.

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous - Owlcat Games' next isometric Pathfinder RPG
Here are a bunch of mythic spells if you're interest I think it's also important to note that currently in the beta there are alignment restrictions* on the mythic paths. Each path also used to have it's own casting stat that may not align with your own casting stat but I'm not sure if that's still in or being kept or not because I've uninstalled the beta without testing it and used a mod whenever it was an issue before that. Pretty sure it only changes DCs and not slots though so if you don't cast offensive spells then it probably won't matter. *You can be any alignment when you start the path but at some point you'll have a come to Butthead moment

I'll probably go either Oracle/Angel or Kineticist/Azata for my first game

I'd have to agree. I really like some of the Trickster abilities but what I've seen of the story makes me think I'll maybe play it once just to see what happens. I've not spent a lot of time playing Trickster so far because of that but I've seen a lot of complaints about that path over at Owlcat that lead me to believe it never gets better. At least not through act 4 anyway.

Random Video gamE newS
Huh, MicroProse is back. I want to say that probably every other game I had in the 90s was from them. My top 5 MicoProse games in no particular order because I can't choose between them Master of Orion 2 Sword of the Samurai X-COM Twilight 2000 The Punisher Civ2 Colonization Covert Action Elite Falcon 3.0 Majesty --- I'm somewhat excited about the Marvel game because I'm sure the game I've imagined in my head is way different than the game that's actually being made. I'm neutral on the Saints Row reboot and the trailer didn't move the needle any.
