I would personally like better lightsaber duelling in KotOR X-Wing, Tie Figther, Dark Forces, Mysteries of the Sith, Dark Forces 2, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Academy, KotOR, kotOR2, Empire at War, Republic Commando, Lego Star Wars... All bad? Rebellion, Star Wars Galaxies and the Prequel games were bad. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Umm.. Empire at war wasnt that good, It was set in one of those gay ass parts of the SW history, clones vs confederacy would have been so much better, Republic Commando would have been better if it just wasnt just divided up into 4 sections, Geonosis, the republic ship, Kashyyyk and I cant remember the 3rd, and it was a bit short IMO, And I believe that there should have been a sequal, the ending was sort of set so that you had to go n watch episode 3, I would have like to have seen Delta squad again in their new Imperial form. And as for lego star wars, that wasnt bad, but it would have been so much better if it wasnt lego and had the lego blocks set in a videogame, and maybe if it wasnt set for youngin's

Probabally the only thing in episode 3 which almost made me cry, Its hard though , but the part when Obi-Wan is uber pissed off and sad at the same time when he just cuts of Anakins legs, yes at that point where his legs just disapear somewhere, and Obi is like " :'( you where the chosen one... you where my friend, like a brother to me ect."

It would be cool if it where like WoW, but without the whole paying factor. That would be pretty cool, instead of the whole faggy clan aspect their would be like guilds like in WoW, but I dunno, different factions in the Lightside and Darkside. You could make up sorta like 'guilds' so to speak but under your desired allignment, and then you could only fight people who are your own level.

Taris was quite good, probabally one of my favourite planets, I like how in K1 how you could go to many places and many planets. Like Taris and Rakata Prime werent acctually chooseable planets, so that was a big add on. I have to agree that the whole jedi end up cutting the force was pretty disapointing, You went to all that trouble, killed countless darkjedi and mercs, or whatnot taking on the whole exchange and all you can be rewarded with from them is, to get your force taken away and then Kreia just killing them and making it furtherly worse and depressing for all your hardwork is dead and wrecked even more. I have to agree the end did feel like a bit of waste of time.

Yes those Dark jedi where complete goons, with their same dialogue on EVERY planet, and the rancors where overused I reckon as well, the Rakatans explain that they got it from a crashed cargo ship or something, and I doubt that the whole of Rakata Prime would have been infested to the point that it was in KotOR1

Doesnt make logical sence how the Star Forge, which gets its energy/resources ect. From a nearby star (sun) All that Stars have is nuclear energy which it is constantly emmitting, it sounds like another one of those 'make no sence' flaws that where made by the developers, Seriously how could they get the resources of Iron and Metal ect. from a Sun when they need metal and all. (w00t) LANGUAGE PLEASE!! *Hits report button* Oh your going away for a looong time <_<. My mother came in and saw that, I am in big trouble because of your words!

*Ignores everyones eye-sore page long posts, except these two... for the time being, untill the point when I either can 1) be bothered to post again or 2) my eyes stop hurting * Sorry cant resist, this reminds me of the Yank Paratroopers of WW2 and I just have to say this "Stand UP! Check equipment, Sound of!" Ect. Been playing some war games lately lol. Just one quick question, do you know what ever happened to Jediphile? Looks like he just pulled a Revan and went off to some Unknown place... Well, they obviously have a stable system and a leader who is preventing this from happening. I doubt that the so-called weak True Sith are that weak to acctually collapse by themselves, but only fall to others. T3 came back because Revan was supposedly looking for someone capable or something like that, Revan perhaps needed help maybe captured or anything who knows.

Yes my friend, Incredibly cheap and lazy shame on them all.

3 fairly common ways, 1 a mod, another a sort of mod, and the last just what everyone else probabally uses to the best of their ability. 1) There is a mod where the Remote tells you the infulence you have with the characters. 2) The KSE (KotOR Savegame Editor) Tells you when you look under you NPC party options. 3) Their allignment, if you have high infulence with them and your DS they will have a close similarity between your allignment and theirs.

HH didnt do anything.. all he was doing was pointing out that it isnt the default controls... KotOR2 is basically like a fps, and you can use the mouse to run around by clicking down both. And why are you replying if you have an Xbox? Because the question was based on the PC aspect, Thread spammers...

Maybe the acctual problem should be posted? -
I have to agree with you on the storyline aspect where, yes it isnt fully theirs they kinda just swapped a few names around and all, Malak swaped with Vader if you will or whatever, but I personally although knowing that it isnt their original material to an extent, But I liked how it was sort of copying the story of the movies, it was essential for a new game a new section and era released to have this cliche so people could easily adapt and understand it. It is a big change from going to blasters then back in time to swords and vibroblades. That would explain KotOR2's different storyline and why it was, as I have said just totally different, from then on whoever they want may start to develop and expand on the original KotOR storline which as mentioned used as a template and expanded, similar to how the movie series was just used as a template to make another section of the star wars era.

Alec dont be too hastey when it comes to finding out where the hell Revan is, cos we are all going to be guessing of course, but not truely finding out where he abouts, exactly he is or why ect. And that should be revealed if we get a KotOR3, which would be great, and thankfully there are rumors about it comming out in the near future But I believe, like yourself, Yes the Architech has provided one of those most detailed logical answers and successfully pieced the whole puzzle together, in this early stage, it looks like he has already found out the fundamental facts and the basic storyline, although we may have ideas based on that we still have lots of things to go through to uncover the story, such as planets, characters ect.

First of all, not this isnt a KotOR1 vs KotOR2 sort of topic, Its just something I have set up where we can all discuss what points of KotOR1 we liked or disliked. I'm sure that we have all mentioned in our posts in any old random topic how we liked the characters, or liked the music. So now we can all talk about it in this thread. Well some things at the moment that I can think back on which I liked was such things as the planets you went through. All the planets that you went to in KotOR1 was mentioned some time in the movies and I'm sure that we where all eager to see what these planets where like, Examples being Korriban, Dantooine, Kashyyyk (We werent introduced to it, all we heard was about the Wookie race) and Tatooine, which was involving moreso. Alot of the places you went were mentioned in the movies, ie Anchorhead, the Wookie home on Kashyyyk, Dantooine in general (leia mentions it) and Korriban about being a Dark Sith/Jedi planet. Taris being awfully similar to Coruscant, and Manaan being a lot like Kamino. So really KotOR1 was similar to a step into the Star Wars universe as to what we have been viewing all this time. I really loved the music as well, Very Star Warsish, the whole epic music as you go along by your adventures, and many of the songs sounding like something that would acctually come from star wars. Like the "Basilla Shan" Theme sounds a lot like the "Luke Skywalker" theme. I loved the music on Manaan, Tatooine and the Evil feeling presence sort of music of Korriban I loved the sound of peace and tranquil on Dantooine especially. A lot of the characters where steriotypes of the characters within the movies, Basilla Shan was a teacher and jedi sort of like Obi-Wan and Luke combined in a way, Carth was similar to Han with all the piloting ect. (although we can more accurately compare him to Atton) I loved it how it wasnt just another Bang! Bang! Shoot'em'up Star Wars game which you had to do levels after levels and got really boring, I liked how KotOR was one complete flowing game and how you could learn about your characters and this whole massive quest sort of feel, going around doing side quests and the major "find the star forge" quest, Everything was easily compareable to Star Wars which was great. I liked how what you said effected things, and how it effected your allignment and the ending. It effected Dialogue which I loved and what characters said to you. Well thats all I can think of for the moment. I would like to see your views
-
I'm not to fully sure myself. But I believe if you set Revan as DS you can get the holocrons on Korriban of Basilla, and when set as LS you get the same thing but from T3, but I heard something of either way you being able to get the T3 holocron anways

I dont find it efficient and reliable because there is the "Edit" button, and if you say that Wiki makes often checks on them I dont see how they could check every single page, that would be impossible for they have pages based on anything probabally millions of things, People could edit the most minor of things where people wouldnt even find out.
