You are literally the first person besides myself I have ever seen to pay Dragon Age 2 a compliment. The problem is that in most settings, you can't fight anything interesting until you hit higher levels. Dragon age 2 is way underrated it was pretty good aside from a few annoying flaws

All this arguing about BG1/2 vs Icewind Dale vs pillars When the fact of the matter is none can touch planescape torment lol

Well not all epic level games are bad neverwinter nights 2: mask of the betrayer was crazy good, better that the base game by leaps and bounds

You do know that there is a Torment game coming eh? I have heard of such a game but I fear it will just disappoint me lol, ill still probably buy it though

I think your getting a little ahead of yourself lol, #1 for me would be fixing curent bugs impacting pillars (im sure they will) if they are going to make another game is the style of Pillars I would want something along the lines of planescape torment planescape torment was one of the best RPGs ever, the wrighting was so good I could just watch it like a movie lol

Just make sure EA had nothing to do with those cookies lol

Im also going to say thanks to kickstarter (and of course all those who donated) for makeing all this possable

I think the hype comes from the Kick Starter origins People felt invested in the game years before it was released, also it reminds people of Baulders Gate and other IE games which kind gets the nostalgia juices flowing combine these factors with the fact that the game is pretty solid (so far, im not that far into it but i feel comfortable say the game will be at worst "pretty solid") and people will get pretty pumped about a game

Bugs are sort of the norm for game releases these days I blame the internet as it makes it so easy to patch things Thats not to say that bugs are a new thing, I remebering geting mailed a 3.5" flopy disk with a patch on it because I contacted the company about bugs lol but I feel that its worse these days, I have friends that wont buy games at release not because of bugs and the fact that everything seems to go on sale on steam rather rapidly lol

Well maybe I can sort of help you understand lol Some of us are programed to take advantage of everything possible, so if we can rest limitlessly we will do so simply because its advantageous to do so. At least that is how my brain is wired so to speak. so even if I would prefer it if you could not rest in dangerous places, I will rest if allowed to because I cant bring myself to purposely hamstring myself
