  1. Even if it's perfectly viable, despite not being as good as Class X? Game balance isn't really about making every choice equal, it's about making every choice worth taking. well if one class clearly is better and occupies the same roll as the other I feel obligated to take the more powerful one it seems like simple logic
  2. Amen... the most optimal edition IMO I think they loosely based PoE's system off AD&D 4.... which I never grew fond of. Omg dont get me started on what they did to 4.0.... it ruined D&D for me. 3.5 for life
  3. My chanter is great in long fights almost useless against most trash mobs as the fight is over before they can cast
  4. its hard for many folks to like a class the is clearly under powered I like the idea of the class, not the damage output. I know what you mean but if the class is clearly underpowered I cant play it even if I like the I idea/lore behind it, I feel as if im intentionally hamstring myself, something my brain will not allow me to do
  5. If you can prebuff, then you must prebuff, because the designers will have balanced the game around you prebuffing. Every fight will be designed around the idea that your entire party has huge DR, accuracy buffs, etc. So if you DON'T prebuff then you won't stand a chance. Thus, you are forced to take part in the tedium of mandatory prebuffing. Don't like buffing in PoE? Don't do it. Save your priest's spellcasting for enemy debuffs and heals. The game is balanced such that you CAN buff your team up, but you don't HAVE to. There are other strategies that work. I tend to disagree I dident have to pre-buff in NWN2, I just did it really late when I got persistent spell and early on hard fights
  6. Well its not game-breaking or anything it just bugs me lol And I guess I understand why they would do that. In NWN2 I had a Cleric/Monk/SF and one of his main jobs was to buff, so yeah it was kinda annoying to stand there and do it all the time But not being able to do that directly hurts the effectiveness of buffs
  7. It really bugs me that I cant put up buffs before combat starts, it makes buffing kind useless unless it going to be a real long fight
  8. oh I couldn't agree more, oh how i wish twitter never existed What I hate even more is when news outlets report what someone said on twitter as if its news
  9. im sure the LGBT crowd accounts for a huge amount of their sales lol "im sure the radical and crazy minority of theLGBT crowd accounts for a huge amount of their sales lol" I just fixed it a bit if you do not mind^^ thank you for that fix actually on the whole I know the LGBT crowd are reasonable, sensible, and good people
  10. I want to say to you hey friend thats that what democracy is about, but.... I hate to admit ...... democracy is at least heading that direction
  11. im sure the LGBT crowd accounts for a huge amount of their sales lol
  12. I agree as well i feel like my whole party has vision problems lol
  13. You're either dishonest or ignorant. http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/censorship a : the institution, system, or practice of censoring ... : a person who examines books, movies, letters, etc., and removes things that are considered to be offensive, immoral, harmful to society, etc. A person. Not a government, not a law, a PERSON. Did a person examine this game? Yes. Did they apply pressure, directly, to the developer of said game to remove something they felt was offensive, immoral, or harmful to society? Yes. This person is a censor. They performed censorship by pressuring the developer to remove it. About to go offensive (trigger warning); if I "pressure" someone into having sex, I'm not a rapist or immoral, right? After all, they could have said no, they could have resisted, so it's alright, right? So you can't tell the difference between advocacy and rape. Gotcha. As someone who lives in a country where censorship is explicitly prohibited by the constitution I just have to point out that a "censor" is historically an official. Censor: "an official who examines books, plays, news reports, motion pictures, radio and television programs, letters, cablegrams, etc., for the purpose of suppressing parts deemed objectionable on moral, political, military, or other grounds." http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/censor?s=t You can expand the concept, sure, but you have to do it very carefully if you want to claim that censorship is a bad thing in any context. oh yeah now we are going the not every censorship is bad... YES EVERY FORM OF CENSORSHIPOT IS BAD.... Its like saying racism against white people is not as bad as racism against black people.... Seriously.. There is no different. There is no good or bad discrimination. there are no differences at all.... sadly in the mind of most (at least in the media) racism against whites is a myth or even an impossibility
  14. Their definition, as written, is ridiculous. It implies that any kind of advocacy is an attempt at censorship."Censorship [...] happens whenever some people succeed in imposing their personal political [...] values on others." So voting is an attempt at censorship? Take it up with them then, preferably in a manner where you don't employ selective editing. As a privileged cislord, I will continue to consider the ACLU's opinion on what constitutes censorship as more authoritative than Serdan from the Obsidian Forums. Please refrain from using the term "cis" its extremely offensive I'm sorry m'genderneutral pronoun. I'll make sure to check my privilege before I offend anyone else. you know you can just call me sir lol, or if your feeling really nice your excellence lol but many folks dont know that cis-gender is an extremely offensive way to refer to someone

  16. watch out you will get censored and banned for your humor lol
  17. People in English native land don't have hardships so they occupt themselves by making them up. Well, we have those non-problems in europe too . Just wasn't sure why transgender people would be offended, doesn't seem like a hate speech or ahate-joke (if thats the correct word) actually most transgender folks were not offended but on vocal one was and obsidian caved
  18. you are 100% correct the man slept with a woman who as it turns out was not a woman, and was not secure enough to deal with it so of a cliff he went, but for some reason Obsidian felt the need to cave and censor it
  19. No. This would be a complete non-issue if the bigots hadn't thrown a fit.Go read the replies to the other thread. Someone actually vowed to undermine everything Obsidian ever does. The reaction is completely, hilariously, out of proportion. Some bigots may have replied yes but what about those of us who just hate the growing censorship we are seeing in our society? You're a bigot too. Anyone who disagrees is a bigot and probably a communist MRA as well. wait how im I a bigot?, there is no need for personal attacks, Im merely for free speech for all. There are not too many things that bother me but censorship is one of them thank you for your contribution, I respect your addition to the thread and your opinion and look forward to your future replies
