  1. That might be a good idea. I was thinking of adding melee parry, but dodge seems more suited to the character.
  2. Haven't thought of a name yet, but heres my concept. Race : Rodian Size : 1.5m Age : Young, not sure exactly how old Rodians get to. DEXTERITY - 4D PERCEPTION - 4D KNOWLEDGE - 3D STRENGTH - 2D MECHANICAL -2D TECHNICAL - 3D Lightsaber - +1D = 5D Dodge +1D = 5D Blaster +1D = 5D Languages - +1D = 6D Con - +1D = 5D Persuasion +1D = 5D Droid Repair - +1D = 4D Blaster Repair - +1D = 4D Space Transports Repair +1D = 4D Specialises in Hold out Blasters +1D = 6D Specialises in Droid Repair, Astromech droids +1D = 5D Specialises in Blaster Repair, Blaster pistols +1D = 4D An unwanted child, he was dumped on a medium sized trading space station near Rodia. The inhabitants of the space station, generally merchants and smugglers, took care of him, though they treated him more like a pet for their amusement when he was young. As he grew up, he managed to survive working as a repairman for the clients who stopped by, and gained some skill at repairing the transportsand astromech droids commonly used, as well as weapons used by the "less official" clientel. He developed a knack for avoiding trouble, but always felt that he'd scape one day, fantasising about stealing a ship and exploring the galaxy. He got his chance, when one day a merchant stopped by in a Ghtroc Freighter, and left it guarded only by a droid. He convinced the merchant to let him modify the droid to increase its performance, but when he was alone he deactivated it and got on the ship. The plan wasn't as brilliant as he'd hoped, and it turned out the "merchant" was a Jedi. The jedi sensed that something was going on, and had re-entered the ship while the droid was being deactivated. He could tell the young Rodian had some force sensitivity though, and offered to train him. Thats my character concept so far. If we have too many Jedi and we need someone non force sensitive, I could modify my character to have never met his master and simply stolen some random ship. Also, since I'm not too sure how selecting Force Powers work, I left that out for now. This character will primarily have skills in sense, with very minor abilities in control and alter.
  3. Not being a hardcore SW person, I have a question .Can any alien race be a Jedi? Or are there only a few which have the potential to be force sensitive?
  4. Isn't that what you're doing? Big guns not allowed, cybernetics not allowed, Juhani wearing boots not allowed....
  5. Bundle a what? $300 video card with a $40 game? :D Generally bundles are the other way around. Besides, I'd want an Ati card... one of the new X800s...
  6. Maybe, but does that make him a competent president?
  7. Oh my god! You said something I agree with. Something must be wrong....
  8. Theres a difference between good graphics and aesthetic appeal of the female characters. I'm betting you hate movies where the female lead isn't some hot blonde right?
  9. Its asking too much. If they offer this, they'll have a thousand people complaining that they didn't get their free copy because they suggested feature x.
  10. *Yawn* As if playing a certain type of game makes one a hardcore gamer as opposed to a casual gamer. I play every genre of gamers and enjoy them all. Some days I feel like an RPG, some days I want to let lose and play a FPS, other days I want to test my tactics and play a turn based strategy, other days I feel like an RTS. You're limiting your enjoyment if you just pick a certain type and only play that in order to satisfy your distorted sense of gamer pride.
  11. Ok. 6-19 is still less than 7-46 of the Baragwin Heavy repeating blaster. Which is a heay weapon.
  12. And some people are so arrogant and immature that they believe their opinion should be taken as fact and throw a tantrum when someone dares to do something different to it.
  13. And KOTOR is not the be all and end all of all things Star Wars. If KOTOR was the standard for everything, no-one in the movies would use ranged weapons at all, they'd just use big Vibroswords and charge their enemies.
  14. This isn't a case of better/worse. If you compared a desert eagle to a M60, which has more firepower? The M60. In a bigger gun, you have more room for ammunition, energy sources, whatever. Your statement that a small gun can do every single thing a larger gun can do is simply wrong. Yet you cling to it demanding that guns be a certain size or smaller.
  15. Casus Fetts pistol Damage: Energy, 4-11 Ordors Repeating blaster, Fully Loaded: Damage: Energy, 5-14 It did more damage. Baragwin Heavy Repeating Blaster (Heavy Weapon) 3-22 Energy, Fully loaded, 3-22 + 4-24 What is the point you're trying to make? Small weapons are always better than big weapons? Obviously not true. Small weapons are sometimes better than big weapons? True. But big weapons are sometimes better than small weapons, and he chose, for his sketch and concept, to go for a big weapon.
  16. You know, it is just a computer game. If you desperately need an attractive women, go out and meet one, or, failing that, watch some porn. Having "totally hot bounty hunters" in KOTOR 2 should not be a priority.
  17. This is Star Wars. What do Storm Troopers use? Big Blaster rifles or little pea shooters? Did you go and bitch at GL saying "BIG ISN'T BETTER! THEY SHOULD ALL USE ROCKET LAUNCHERS!". And as for the concept. In KOTOR, Canderous used a big gun. All of the powerful guns, were big. You say big does not equal better, but if you used a small gun with x firepower, with the same technology, you could build a bigger gun with 2x power. It just seems some people here are so insecure they have to vehemently attack someone for no reason at all.
  18. I agree with the animations part, but I thought the sabers themselves looked fine.
  19. Yeah, Malek was a fool using those dead Jedi as his healing source. He should have just bought the Ebon Hawk off Davik and been invincible!
  20. Is it your belief that pointing out problems in the US or the US Government makes a person anti-American? Nothing about Bowling for Columbine is anti-US. I doubt anyone from around the world watched the film and said to themselves I hate Americans now. They might think, theres a lot of problems with the US, but thats something different.
  21. Ah, thats right. Well, it makes your accomplishments even more impressive.
  22. But thats only the 2 other characters you were grouped with before you came into the Hawk. You can't select all the characters. It was an arkward system, so I hope its fixed in KOTOR2.
  23. Isn't that the Sith way? Yes it is but that means they think you didnt kill them because youre such a powerful force user but because you got lucky. So they still think youre a padawan and they have a chance against you. Malak on the star forge says there is whispering about how he assumed the mantle of Sith Lord. That it looked bad he didnt kill you personally. Maybe, for Yuthura and Uthar (Though how did they find out about it? Neither Yuthura or Uthar did), but those 3 outside the Sith Academy? Your character kills them, with the aid of only a few slaves or droids. Think of it this way. If you were those 3 sith. And a Sith padawan that just finished training (to you, Korriban may be the last world the PC does or it could be the first) came out of the temple claiming to have killed Yuthura and Uthar and that they are Darth Revan... would you automatically believe them? Or be skeptical??? But after youve killed half the academy I think they should wise up. Skeptical, maybe. I'd be a bit careful about drawing my saber and attacking, especially as hes cutting down hoards of my fellow students with apparent ease.
  24. Please don't. Buy a hundred copies of MGS2 and go bitch on their board.
  25. I'd be a Dabbler. Slightly more than a movie watcher, but not by much.
