    Eh, he didn't lose over being a pedo. That just brought his name out, where black people found out he wanted to remove the amendment against slavery. If your news source doesn't include african americans mobilizing and making the clutch then you're watching fake news.

    It's also buggy, tuned for competitive multiplayer instead of the campaign and not nearly as charming.

    The developers admitted that it was their first intro into game developing.

    Late response, but yeah I know. I followed them when it was still a Dungeon Keeper fan sequel, and in fact talked to some of them in pre-production. I almost joined their team before they went from 'fan sequel' to 'spiritual successor' at their original forum at KeeperKlan and entirely restructured the team and dumped half the members. This was several years before they even launched a kickstarter.

     

    I vehemently disagreed with their goal to create a balanced highly competitive e-sports experience inspired by StarCraft 2, citing that nobody but the most hardcore Dungeon Keeper players gave a crap about its multiplayer and they were completely wasting their time. I actually ended up getting banned because I refused to stop pointing out when they were making balance changes to hypothetical concepts when they didn't even have a halfway functional vertical slice yet. Half of the cool ideas were met with 'sounds cool, but it'd be unbalanced'. Talk about your idea killers.

     

    One of the reasons I'm so hard on this game is because so many of their problems could have been avoided if they had prioritized the campaign and lookdev over a multiplayer component that nobody cared about, and I literally told them that personally before they even started making the damn game. :p

     

    Yes, I know this is petty and biased but I did take it personally when they assured me they'd prove me wrong and just completely failed to do so.

    Honorable Mention: Overwatch, which would have ended up on the list if it wasn't for the fact I have to orchestrate 11 other people to play with me because any kind of matchmaking gives me absolute human refuse.

    Simply that significant parts of Western Europe view Poland the same way significant parts of North America view Mexico: A source of illegal immigrants, criminals and cheap uneducated labor brought over to 'take our jerbs' (when really coorporate toolbags are exploiting them).

     

    You've seriously never heard this? It's a stereotype older than I am, and not entirely without basis.

    my friend dated 16yo or 17yo when he was over 30, they are together for 5 years now. You can have intercourse from 15yo here. Its nothing uncommon

    Many thanks to both Shady and Oner for the games I poached off them.

     

    I haven't gotten to try BROFORCE yet (thanks Shady!) but I definitely will use it for some local co-op with friends.

     

    I did try Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy (thanks Oner!) and I think I may have made a horrible mistake. Some 20 minutes of attempts in and my calm is severely damaged. I enjoy the occassional rage game, but this one... I think this may be the worst one. This is made much worse by the fact that my wife is laughing at me about it. Oh my god, a terrible error in judgement!

     

    I'm always astounded by the generosity in these threads. Message boards can be heated as they are generally filled with passionate people filled with their own opinions, and sometimes its easy to forget that there's so many good people in the community. It warms my heart. Thanks to all the generous people here!

    Goldblum being back is exciting, but Jurassic World was steaming condensed disappointment.

     

    It will server as a fantastic case study for future script writers of what not to do.

     

    What, leave audiences applauding and make a gazillion dollars?

     

    Not defending the film, I personally enjoyed it but that's because I'm a Jurassic Park fanboy who will lap anything up with that name on it and I am aware of that and that the film I enjoyed was ridiculously stupid. In spite of that, in any metric that matters to studios it was a resounding success?

    A 'bit' of a rage game, yeah. The main game mechanic is essentially doing physics puzzles with terrible controls.

     

    I actually thought co-op was signicantly easier than single player, but then I now have a computer that doesn't screw up the simplest physics engine processing like my last one. May have affected my single player experience. :lol:
