Movies you have seen lately
I watched The Mist. 9/10 I was pretty angry at this film for it's ending for at least a couple of hours, then I realized how strong the ending was because it gave me the strongest emotional reaction to a film that I've ever had (and it was for content, not quality). I don't know if I could do that to a character that I had been with throughout writing the story. Not a 10/10 because I thought there was some untapped potential, but still an EXCELLENT flick. And I say that word with "Bill and Ted" type enthusiasm.

British Humour is in the Genes
Pooha. A good joke is a good joke, and a bad joke is a bad joke.

Pavement - Crooked Rain Crooked Rain (album) I don't really see what the big deal is. Pavement sounds to me a bit like Weezer for indie people. I guess it's good, but it's not as exceptional as I was told.

A tracklist consisting of Alice in Chains' Dirt album and Jar Of Flies EP randomized into what would have been a pretty cool deluxe-sized album (or double album, maybe?)

Eels Electro Shock Blues Show. Probably one of the best shows ever recorded. I wish I could've been there.

The Best So Far??? 2.0
It's because those games had to rely on style and gameplay. A lot of modern games are basically good graphics only.

The Best So Far??? 2.0
There is no such thing as the Gameboy DS. You have the Nintendo Gameboy and the Nintendo DS. Nintendo has made it clear time and again that these are two seperate product lines (making the descision of Gameboy Advance games being playable on the Nintendo DS a bit bizarre). Oddly enough, I do not consider myself a Nintendo fanboy, yet I voted for three Nintendo consoles. The NES (that thing has taken up more hours of my life than just about anything else), the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo Wii (because I enjoy new ways to play games).

Do you yanks think we euros are poking around too much in your politics?
This is true, but often we only get the American coverage in broad lines. The media never really go in depth (occasionally a newspaper will, but not often), so often Europeans that do not regularely traverse the internet for additional coverage will really only have some idea of what's going on. Which is kind of sad, I think.

US Presidential Elections
Useful post, then, Walsingham. Something I'm noticing about the current US Presidential Elections is that nearly all the media attention right now is Hillary vs. Obama. It's like nobody even cares who the Republicans put forth. I'm not even sure who won the Republican preliminaries (it was McCain right?).

In their defense, Bush did win the election meaning that a small majority DID vote for him, and it's easy to view a country as their majority. However, NOT in their defense, I have to say most of these people are idiots (I should know, I used to be one of them). I know people who blame America for everything. Some guy I know is constantly fronting a theory that states Americans created the AIDS virus in the 1950's.

Architecture In Helsinki - Debbie I like this band. They're funny. They sound like if a former Elvis cover band consisting out of Muppets decided to start writing their own songs instead.

You know... honestly, I would rather look at that picture than the half naked man in your avatar. I mean, no offense but I consider males to be pretty ugly by default (says a lot about my self-confidence).

The comments may have spoilt the fun in the vid, as the raving kid isn't playing mario at all, but you have to understand german to notice. I still found it hilarious. Anyway, listening to Die

Rest in Peace, Gary Gygax
a very-very bad idea to make any joke about any dead person no matter who he was or what he did Don't speak ill of the dead, eh? Poop that, because something tells me that like myself, Gygax would want people to be happy and laugh when they remember him. None of that "sadness" business! Mourning death? Bah! Celebrate life! Seriously, R.I.P. Gygax, you magnificent bastard. Quite a few hours of my life have gone to waste thanks to your gaming system! Too bad for us all you made raise dead such a high level spell.

You know, I once saw a video of some guy playing a hacked Mario Brothers ROM. He got pretty pissed at the game, because it was pretty much impossible to win. He likened it to several things, specifically "Panic At The Disco," "Ann Coulter" and "Reading Youtube Comments". Seriously, reading the comments on youtube is a no-no. Whatever it says, it's bound to be painful. Alice In Chains - What The Hell Have I

Woke up at seven, felt like crap, got out of bed at eight thirty, called in sick, played some video games and listened to some music. Gonna work on some projects later so the day isn't a total loss.

Illustrator is no good? I suppose I must recommend Paint then. I don't know if Corel Draw is still available, but that used to be pretty good? I could recommend Aura/Mirage/TVPaint (different versions of the same program) but... I'm not going to, because that program is complete ****.
