  1. Woke up. Commute. Delays. Took two and a half hours. Commuting makes more tired than hard work.
  2. Did we watch the same movie? Drag Me To Hell was positively DRIPPING with cheese! It was a horror/comedy, not straight up horror. D: Goat: You trihihihihihicked me!!!!!!!!
  3. No offense guys, but there are enough personal attacks in this thread to call it a flame war and it's only a page long.
  4. I too prefer the critic, but the nerd is pretty funny. Anyway, NSFW: http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/
  5. I can hardly imagine how it is for other guys, because I have these problems with modern clothes and I'm almost underweight! Spent most of the day at work goofing off with rubber bands, which in hindsight wasn't a good idea because deadlines are coming up haha. Oh well. [sap]Can't concentrate on stuff at all because I can't stop thinking about my girlfriend of almost three years and how much I love her. It makes me happy to think that after almost three years I have only fallen more in love with her. >_ [/sap]
  6. I'd switch those to around. I'm a complete procrastinator and I'm horribly aware of it. Coupled with an amazingly high level of indecision, I'll be surprised if I ever amount to anything. Motivating myself is like finding water in the desert. I rely completely on random bouts of inspiration. EDIT: Yes, working to help someone else is so easy. Sometimes I wonder if it's just a matter of me not wanting it to be my choice. I don't want to have to blame myself for my ****ty situation but if someone else tells me what to do it's their responsibility. EDIT EDIT: Well would you look at that. Did I just have something of a personal epiphany?
  7. The jumping spider is not nearly as cute as the little Clione, also known as the Sea Angel. Well, until it goes Shoggoth on you anyway.
  8. Coraline. The best stop-motion animation I have ever seen (so good that at times I was doubting if it wasn't just CGI), but I felt it had some pacing problems (it took like an hour to get started) and every character except Coraline herself was pretty unlikable. Despite that, 8 out of 10 because it had gorgeous visuals and when it finally went into gear it had me on the edge of my seat.
  9. Whenever we hear about or see Michael Cera, me and my friend start talking about a sport we came up with, called faceball. It's played with baseball bats.
  10. Try replacing 'weird' with 'stupid'. Angel got absolutely ridiculous in the last few seasons, and not ridiculous in a fun or enjoyable way. This must have been the part I saw then. The whole part with Angel's son and stuff, that was later seasons I suppose? It was wildly ridiculous anyway.
  11. While she did deserve it I didn't really find that very funny at all. There was no joke, a person ****ed up in a bad way and someone did a mean-spirited retaliation, and someone tried to make it into 'entertainment'. They're pretty much all disgusting twats.
  12. Step 1> WTF Step 2> Step 3> ???? Step 4> Profit.
  13. I wouldn't call it a sad movie. I thought it was a riveting adventure movie. I found myself thinking several times "this is more Indiana Jones than the last Indiana Jones movie". However, did put a lump in my throat and it did have some emotional bits in between. Just wow. This is probably the best Pixar movie yet.
  14. I thought Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, was the best of the franchise so far. But me being a dinosaur nut might have something to do with it.
  15. The Hangover. It was, surprisingly, quite a bit of fun.

    Books

I'm only on Discworld 6 (I'm an incredibly slow reader) but I love Pratchett so far, so I suspect I will like it.
  17. A bit sickish today, but not as much as yesterday. Hung out with my ladyfriend mostly, bought her some cute shirts because surprise gifts make her giddy which is super cute. Going to see Up tonight (it only just came out in Holland, don't know why but Pixar films always get like a four month delay ), pretty psyched about that.
  18. Character Rigging with a Biped in 3D Max. Kill.
  19. When Stephen takes it off and it quickly runs into the conservationist's arms it's actually quite endearing. Too bad about the skull****ing though.
  20. I'll be waiting for that, then. I am not a fan of consoles. EDIT: This is a reply to the first of that double post up there.

    Books

Not reading them yet, but I just ordered Neil Gaiman's "American Gods" and "Neverwhere" as well as his collaboration with Terry Pratchett, "Good Omens" mostly on recommendation from this board. Don't disappoint me, recommending guys!
  22. Can anyone enlighten me what the bad stuff is that comes along with PC as a platform?
  23. Aww, it's an exclusive? Damn, I was looking forward to it too.
  24. Too bad. Then I guess I'll just wait until I randomly bump into it instead of seeking it out.
