Americans set to get standardised/universal healthcare
I realize that I'm late replying to this, but I'm a little confused with this statement. What exactly are you saying here? That the people who are for UHC are the kind of people who "let themselves go", healthwise? Who by default actively try to keep their contribution to society to a minimum? Please clarify.

Movies you have seen recently
I watched all 3 Evil Dead movies now, and I have to say Number 2 was the best. Army of Darkness was fun but mostly silly and had about zero tension. Number one was okay but it seemed to go for shock value more than anything, more than plot, character or atmosphere. Dead By Dawn was just awesome in all respects. Honestly I'm pretty glad I watched number 2 first, because I might have given up on it with number 1. It didn't hold my attention a lot.

Editing Technique
Haha. That's great! Actually, if you want to get really technical CG animation is still stop motion. You make single frames. The difference is that you add a motion blur to it. That's the reason Steven Spielberg allowed ILM to go CGI with Jurassic Park instead of stop motion and really kick off the CGI craze. (Yes, I know others started it, especially James Cameron's work with it, but it really took off when Jurassic Park showed you could use it for living, breathing animals).

Currently watching Evil Dead 2 for the first time. I started with that one because I heard number one disappoints a lot of people who only know it through it's status as cult champion.

I once saw a nifty program on discovery channel about a phenomenon when people wake up partially at night but their body is still asleep and their dreams/nightmares are still going on too. They said in western civilisation it often translated to U.F.O. abduction experiences but in japan it ended up as Onry

What you did today
Get well soon. I am rigging a 3D model at work (rigging is putting a skeleton in and making sure body parts deform properly when moving, for those not in the know). Except I've been working on this model for like two weeks and I am really bummed out on it and I cannot bring myself to work on it properly. TVtropes isn't helping. :D

Be that as it may, Aliens kicks ass and often gets more emotional responses than most other films. Game over, man! Game over!

That's a cultural thing more than anything.

I am testing out Scribblenauts on my DS! Favourite words so far: God, Bazooka, Jetpack, Cthulhu.

Yes, it's just stop motion. But I suppose you could do it by speeding up your video and just cutting out frames here and there. Maybe film it backwards and do that.

I liked Hellboy 2's bizarre fantasypunk stuff a lot more than Hellboy 1's boring sci-fi horror stuff.

What are you playing now?
I started playing WoW for realz again after a few months of being on a cracked server to see if it got any more fun since the vanilla beta. Enjoying it quite a lot now, but have to get used to the part where the cracked server I was on had a broken reputation system which gave everyone the basic discounts. I keep running out of money, and I'm only level 12!

MMORPGs and the single gamer
That would be a pretty big download, I think. Amazingly it comes to only 324 kb. bootcode: if {asshat} = true > run [abortion.obj]

TSL Restoration Project: The Phantom Deadline, READ FIRST POST BEFORE POSTING
Okay, not to be contrary or anything, but didn't Dash pretty much say that he doesn't even go to the number one place that attention for the mod goes to anymore? I mean, I'm not trying to defend him or anything, but that part of your post just confused me.

MMORPGs and the single gamer
Yeah, you pretty much get all KotOR 1 has to offer in about 80 hours. That's nothing like the amount of time I used to spend in WoW (I actually started playing that again last saturday, too.)

The wonders and workings of the female psyche
It's an invite. You should sneak into her bedroom a.s.a.p., light some scented candles, lie down on her bed with a thong and make a heart on your chest with whipped cream. Vo

Yeah to get a Blood Mage you pretty much get a blood elf mage and spec it in the fire talent tree.

Keanu Reeves catches a lot of undeserved flack because he's really good in some parts. He's very hit and miss but he's not a guarantee of horrible. I really liked him in 'The Watcher'.

Americans set to get standardised/universal healthcare
Wow. I forgot how much I pay exactly but it's not nearly that much. But I'm not entirely sure how the system here in The Netherlands works anymore because it has changed several times in the last few years. I'm pretty sure you have to pay some of your medical bills yourself, up to a certain cost. I think I pay around €125 per month with additional costs up to €155 depending on needed healthcare, excluding stuff my employer fronts.
