  1. Have you tried that out recently? Because I have this most of the time, but the electronic 3D glasses I had with Up worked like a charm. Nothing was out of focus.
  2. It seems I have forgotten the actual purpose of a question mark. Apologies for any inconvenience it may have caused.
  3. Because it's just an internship (not a very interesting one at that, but sadly the only one available at the time) and I didn't feel like moving for that especially since it's only like 20 weeks in total (only 4 or so left to go).
  4. As an animation student I have a professional interest though. So far, my eyeballs remain un****ed but it certainly is the best CGI to date. I think what puts people off about it is the colour palette though. It's not really that, it's the whiny and condescending tone you express that dislike in that bothers me. Honestly I can't tell if it's your actual opinion or if you're just this forum's equivelant of a music hipster that will not listen to music that more than ten other people know because the artist apparently sold out. (I don't know if I 'suddenly' have issues with you. I really can't remember if I've noticed your posts before this week.)
  5. I procrastinated at work and called out two members here. Hoping the logistical problems caused by uncharacteristic amounts of snow for my country will not cause problems during my commute later which is already 2 hours anyway.
  6. I think the official term right now is thundersmurfs.
  7. Anyway, I'm pretty sure with that budget, it's always bound to be a financial failure. Especially because I know many people weren't that excited about it in the first place. Looks pretty cool to me, though. About the Morgoth Issue: I am pretty creepy, yes. But seriously, the only way he could increase his likeness to e-peen flexers on World of WarCraft fan forums is by posting that godawful Implied Facepalm picture.
  8. I'm going to see it tomorrow! Hopefully it will be good. In that vein: No offense, but you're whinier than the people who post in Aint It Cool News talkbacks.
  9. Hey, no offense meant mkreku, but I'm more and more getting the feeling that you're just trolling these days. It's like every post of yours I see is designed to get a rise out of people or cause a flamewar.
  10. Haha, wow, it's a big improvement then. Going to see Avatar tomrrow! Yayz.
  11. Wow, I never even considered that you could get cancer there. That's a pretty horrible place to get it. Well, any place is a horrible place, but still. Hope it gets better for you soon.
  12. I don't know about that. The drugs were tearing Layne Staley apart when Alice in Chains did Dirt, and I think that's one of the greatest albums of all time, probably because of it. They ended up killing Layne though.
  13. Oh man. That sucks. Hope you get better. Too many people don't. I can never get past the bit where it starts to itch really bad. I start scratching and I end up with my face covered with red bumps. Also, I often rest my chin on the back of my hands and if I have stubble it also gives me itchy red bumps. Like I'm allergic to my facial hair or something.
  14. I feel dead. Weeks of getting up at six to proceed to commute for two hours, work for eight hours and commute for two hours again is taking it's toll, especially with busy weekends. Thankfully I was rather alive last friday, when me and my ladyfriend celebrated our third anniversary. Making plans to see James Cameron's Avatar this friday. I'm pumped! Work is not interesting enough. I'mma go browse TVTropes instead.
  15. Hey, I'm not judging you. I just never heard anyone say that before. Might be because I'm an animation student so snobbery in animation surrounds me at every turn.
  16. Hm, I just finished reading Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and apparently if it can be made worse that much, it can't be that bad by itself.
  17. Really? I mean, I thought A Bug's Life was generally regarded as the closest thing Pixar had to a failure? I personally think it was only okay, just a little bit under cars, which I also thought was okay. Everything else I think is just the greatest CGI has to offer. To each their own, I guess. I agree with Monsters Inc., though. That is one great movie. I think I'mma go watch Terminator again now. Damn you guys!
  18. Went over my minutes for the first time ever. >_
  19. Man, I totally pity things that someone can sexually release into, because boy, does that just sound wrong.
  20. Yeah I agree, T1 and T2 worked and didn't need a sequel. But now that we've got them, I'm glad Salvation came around and washed away the bad taste of T3.
  21. I suddenly feel so much less ashamed.
  22. Eight scenes - some new and some extended worth about 3 extra minutes What this movie really needed was less John Connor and the original ending. Then it would have been a decent movie. Now it was pretty weak.
  23. Sorry, I must misunderstand it. Can you rephrase please? tl;dr version me english no good sry.
