  1. Plus, there's been at least three of 'em before. I know, I signed all of them. This was years ago, though.
  2. You might think that, but we've learned that isn't true from experience.
  3. I respect Sawyer for trying to attempt such a huge project on his own in his spare time, anyway. Despite it's "cancellation".
  4. Actually, I think those work better for purpose of this analogy because those take so much more work.
  5. Maybe you should follow your own advice. "Dark", maybe. The other thing, not at all. Have your fun wallowing in the painful deaths of other human beings.
  6. A blog works. If you do a blog, I suggest WordPress. They have a lot of options for archives and such, and most webcomics stand or fall on their archive build. I second this. Krazy Krow is such an enormously nice guy. In fact, most webcomic people are super nice.
  7. He very inconspicuously films two company logos first.
  8. What the...? You're wishing a horrible DEATH on these people?
  9. Yes it is. Aw, sweet pity. Where would my love life be without it?
  10. I honestly would go for the solidly trusted "just rent some hosting and use Comic Press for it". Most comic hosting services like Comic Genesis (formerly known as Keenspace) and Drunk Duck have terrible reputations and often require people to give up things like publishing rights for their own work (in other words, if you do use these, actually carefully read the terms of service). But don't take my word for it, I'm honestly not knowledgeable enough about hosting to really give an informed opinion. I suggest you ask around at Webcomics Community forums, which I believe is the leading source of free advice on webcomics since Webcomics Dot Com went behind a pay wall. As for transferring from paper, I'm a big fan of Tablets, even the cheap ones work great after a short learning curve (though I'd recommend Wacom because they're simply put better quality). I'm not a huge fan of scanning because most regular household scanners don't give enough quality for something like this, but you could always clean it up in photoshop (or digitally ink it).
  11. His review for God of War 3 is up......... and not very funny. Had some good bits though.
  12. Kung Fu Panda was pretty good as well, but I liked How To Train Your Dragon a lot more. I hope they make more of these things. I could do with less of their pop culture reference heavy shtick and have some actual story instead.
  13. "How To Train Your Dragon", which was simply fantastic. Dreamworks' "hey, we can play in the big leagues too" moment. I've heard it called Pixar quality, but Pixar makes a different type of movie so I disagree, but it's definitely up there. A fantastic adventure film. It's also the best 3D has looked so far, actually knocking supposed game-changer Avatar off that throne faster than it got up there.
  14. Hm. Well, the problem I see is, if God can't mess with our free will at all, it kind of neuters him doesn't it? Most of the important events in human lives are caused by other humans.
  15. Everyone leaves you hanging, but here: *high five* I have my own video game playing ladyfriend that I do, so yay for us.
  16. Well, it says "The GameCrush Public Beta is temporarily unavailable due to the incredible user response (more than 10,000 inquiries in five minutes)." So unless they're lying, I still think the world is that sad.
  17. And now the site is unavailable due to higher than expected amount of responses. Is the world really this sad?
  18. No, I know, but considering I had joked about how that was the twist before the movie even started, I had decided to give it the benefit of the doubt.
  19. "Do You Realize?" is one of the highlights of modern music.
  20. Shutter Island and Sherlock Holmes. Both of them were disappointing on account of how predictable they are. Sherlock Holmes, the greatest detective, should come up with things that leave me baffled, but I guess they thought audiences were idiots because the resolutions they came up with for all their questions were resolutions I had already written off as being too simple for a Sherlock Holmes story. Shutter Island was even worse, because at the end I found out that the twist I joked about when I saw the first TV Spot was the actual twist.
  21. "How long can a 6 year old hold their breath?" Any specific purpose in mind?
  22. Flaming Lips albums are the very definition of awkward pacing. I love most of their songs individually, but I can never get through an album without getting too bored to continue halfway. Play them on random and you're guaranteed to enjoy them more, despite the fact half of their stuff forms vague narratives about chinese girls and pink mechanical toys. A lot of people who like The Flaming Lips also dig The Decemberists, Beck or the Eels. I don't see the similarities, but it's a trend I've noticed.
  23. "The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it." - Terry Pratchett "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by." - Douglas Adams (this in particular seems to have settled itself into my mind as somewhat of a motto) "There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened." - Also Douglas Adams "Events are cowards: they don't occur singly, but instead they run in packs and leap out at you all at once." - Neil Gaiman
  24. Is ME Mass Effect or Mirror's Edge?
  25. Also, if I remember correctly Pyramid Head didn't appear until Silent Hill 2. Anyway, the film was decent and had some images that burned itself into my brain, but it has NOTHING on the second game, which lodged itself squarely into my subconscious and comes out to destroy me into a puddle of sweat that jumps out of bed in terror at least once per season.
