  1. I am speaking to those whose main interest is in the games. My point is that, yes, they can keep it flexible in the games while still having an *official* story in the comics. I realize that when it comes to "C Canon", "all Star Wars is continuity". Still, I think there is a hierarchy. I think books and magazines can trump comics and I think comics can trump video games. They try not to do it but it can happen. I am hoping for the full fleshed-out story of Revan and the Exile. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> And if it does happen, there's usually a retcon to clarify both instances. Anyway, this makes things easier for novelists who want to include Revan and the Exile in an Old Republic novel. And I think Revan would make a great character in a novel given his popularity and importance in the SW timeline, but that's JMO
  2. Just don't say that around the Revan fanboys...
  3. I thought I'd bring this back up to get your reactions now that it's official that the Exile is canonically a female
  4. Nice... But now we have to work in how HK-47 escaped Malachor and wound up on Mustafar
  5. Don't forget Grand Admiral Nial Declann's Battle Meditiation abilities as well, Palpatine no doubt used that to his advantage as well. Anyway, army vs. army would be interesting to witness, though once Revan and Palpatine meet face to face, Revan would wipe the floor with him
  6. Does anyone think we'll see Kreia as a Force Ghost in K3?
  7. I dunno if you guys have heard of this I just heard about it a few hours ago and I thought you guys might be interested in it. http://www.panicstruckpro.com/revelations/revelations.html
  8. Quite a bit of development on the Exile being the "battlegrounds for which this war is being fought", or whatever it was Kreia mentioned about her being a battleground for on their way to Telos
  9. I'd say it's because in NBA or Madden only 2-3 guys need to call someone by name, while your RPG-character talks to hundreds of people. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Plus they say every common name in America (ie, Jones, Williams, Smith...)
  10. oh, I hear you, the Revan thing was a REALLY CHEAP TRICK from a storytelling perspective. still, there would be advantages to having a fixed surname...for instance, the NPCs (such as the elders on the council) could call you "Padawan Stargazer" with full voice over. they could also speak of your uncle "Zak Stargazer", etc. I think a fixed surname would essentially be the best of both worlds: enough backstory to flesh things out while still providing you with control over gender, appearance, alignment, etc and without having to worry about which playthrough of the game is "canonical" and crap like that. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That isn't a bad idea; it would also be easier to flesh out in novelizations, instead of constantly referring to the Jedi Exile as the Jedi Exile (which is probably why we won't be seeing her in very many [if any] comics)
  11. If it's in the time between ROTS and ANH, I wanna be a descendant of Revan or the Exile As for that blog... He mentions some artwork... Is there a link to that? I can't seem to find it
  12. Yeah the Exile and Nihilus are both wounds (or holes) in the Force, and I think they were the only two who could have killed the Force like Kreia wanted to happen
  13. But non-canonical. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm... awk. Well, who cares? And besides, there is chance...yes there is! (w00t) At least I hope so... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It would be a first, but it's not something to hold your breath over...
  14. Wookieepedia can be a reliable source, though you have to be able to fish out any people's "theories" and "beliefs" and "hopes" that sometimes manage to slip through, especially on the heavily edited articles
  15. Which makes it all the more peculiar as to why he would be there and the others wouldn't... I doubt he would be the only one hopping from the Outer Rim to the center of the galaxy just to give the Exile her namesake
  16. I wanna' see Force Crush in a highly detailed GCI movie
  17. she does when? she telling me doesn't want to be my friend:P <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Kreia's mind reading lessons, IIRC
  18. One thing that came to mind now that I think about it, where were Master Vandar and Master Zhar (and maybe a few other notables) at the meeting where the Exile was removed from the Order? They were around at that time, and from that droid on Dantooine, you can see that Vandar has some praise and admiration in her, something Vrook didn't (and obviously never does). I think he (Vandar) wouldn't have been as quick to exile the Exile out of the Jedi Order. And I'm sure some other Jedi Masters that were around at that time would have seen something they (Vrook and company) didn't see and mde their objections a bit more vocal.
  19. No, she didn't. Suggested, yes. **** E: Wait... the Jedi did this to me? K: {Challenging}What did you believe? That you suddenly lost your connection with the Force without reason?
