I think JS mentioned level streaming for PoE2. Unity has now 5.3 build
While this is really big issue to do it, now they have fully functional engine to improve on and I think devs could do it.
Basically, the virus is not a threat to the people. Just for pregnant women and the fetuses.

If PoE2 will be made on Unity 5, latest feature is loading the scene asynchronously in the background.
So, we could hope for real time level streaming.

Why not the chakrams too ? It can be balanced as every other ranged weapon.
You see how greatsword becomes something unique and unordinary adding this flourish pattern above the hilt? This you can do with every weapon and reworked it to be consistent.Though, I'm not demanding it.

You could use every exotic weponry as a base and create a custom one and consistent to the lore adding details similar to soulbound weapons.
PoE2 will be stranger and different place than Dyrwood so maybe some exotic weaponry would suit to it. I only posted images to show weapon's geometry which could be refurbished to the needs of the game.
Maybe, coated glass with some material could be for the good use in combat and protection from magic.
Mages, ciphers and priests could dual wield it and have additional punch.

Serious. Basically, some exotic and unique heavy and light weapons. I think the world of PoE2 will be suited for this kind of weapons.
And I have a suggestion. Let's start a categorization thread. For example, "Wishes, suggestions and requests for PoE2".
So, that we can easily follow other ideas and discuss it. Right now there are several threads about PoE2 and when I'm gone for a couple of days I can't follow it because ideas are scattered across the threads.
I would like unique glass armor in various colors and more unique dual wielding staffs, pistols and wands.
Also, request for new weapon -> scythes and throwable chakrams.
Isn't that too few level ups compared to the whole DLC?
Beta did introduce some balancing mechanics. Higher level cap could add the balance and more fun.
 
WM p2 will add a serious chunck of gameplay and exploration. Wouldn't that be unfair not to have a progress of your party along your exploration ? Level up feels rewarding.
I think JS said that they won't be rebuilding it with Unity 5. Console version is very likely for PoE2 because Sword Coast Legends (U5) will be getting it this year also.
