It does, as KOTOR II uses NWScript (an legacy of the NWN engine).
-
NWScript is an excellent scripting language - lightweight, strictly-typed, extensible, etc. Most freely available embeddable scripting languages have very ugly, not C-style syntax. I have several questions: 1. What scripting language has the most NWScript-like syntax? (Not speaking about the API at this time) 2. Is there a bytecode interpreter for ncs files? 3. Is it legal to write my own bytecode interpreter?

Why do you consider it silly?

Darth Maul is the only known evil Zabrak, as I know. Others are Jedi or at least Republic supporters.
-
The homeworld of the Zabrak species is Iridonia. Therefore, Zabraks are sometimes called Iridonians.
-
All right, a complete (I hope) list of Carth's appearances in the game...
-
Not surprising Bao-Dur reminds you of Darth Maul, given they're the same species (Zabrak). I know what many people presume, but it's not the case. Someone explained it previously.

This movie was added in the multimedia patch. It's not in the original game.

If we added a D&D-style Lawful/Chaotic scale in addition to the Light/Dark (Good/Evil) scale seen in KOTORs, it would remove most of the confusion. Kreia would be Neutral Evil, and Jolee would be Neutral Good (in my opinion). The most morally ambiguous quest in both games (in my opinion), the Sunry trial, would be easily resolved as well: defending Sunry would shift the player towards Chaotic Good, and persuading him to confess would shift the player towards Lawful Evil.

Disgusted Statement: As much as I wish this statement to be true, no fantasy setting is known to feature technology we see in Star Wars, the pinnacle of "science fiction". Oh, how I hate that term.

Ok I was looking throught my kotor directory and I came across a notepad called nwscript, once you open it at the top you will see int RACIAL_TYPE_UNKNOWN = 0; int RACIAL_TYPE_ELF = 1; int RACIAL_TYPE_GNOME = 2; int RACIAL_TYPE_HALFLING = 3; int RACIAL_TYPE_HALFELF = 4; int RACIAL_TYPE_DROID = 5; int RACIAL_TYPE_HUMAN = 6; int RACIAL_TYPE_ALL = 7; int RACIAL_TYPE_INVALID = 8; So does this mean Kotor 2 is a fantasy RPG? </sarcasm>

Hoods for Kreia and the Handmaidens can be taken up or down via scripts, although seeing Kreia without the hood is a little... scary. http://forums.team-gizka.org/viewtopic.php?t=797

Pazaak bores me. I often suspect my opponent of cheating. I prefer predictable games, such as galactic economics.

If you have enough influence with Kreia, you can unlock some conversations about her past, about her and Revan and so on. It's best to prioritize influence above LS/DS points. Don't be afraid to gain some DS points to increase influence with Kreia (or HK-47, or G0-T0), you will easily replenish LS points later in the game.

Hmm... and what are they supposed to mean?

Sorry for a stupid question, but I don't get some of the lines the party members are yelling when fighting, especially Atton. (Believe it or not, I heard Disciple's "You have left me an opening" as "You have left me another thing" before someone on the forum posted the correct version.) Two of Atton's lines I mishear as "More with that king from" (or possibly "More with acting from") and "Time to kick (pick?) you down the sides". What does he actually say?

The words "first and last" are somewhat misleading, they can imply she was Revan's only teacher. She was the first, then Revan had many other Masters, such as Zhar, Dorak and Arren Kae, but in the end, returned to Kreia.
-
Actually, quite a visible factor. The lack of populace. And in case of Dantooine, the lack of the beautiful sunset and the feeling of peace.
-
There is a theory, apparently rather popular, that the reason we don't see Bastila in K2 if Revan is LSF is that Revan had to kill her on the Star Forge. Do you support or oppose this theory? I don't believe it. Looks like even BioWare blatantly ignores the possibility to kill Bastila. Even if you do, she will reappear in the final celebration cutscene. So, it seems to me that her survival is presumed regardless of Revan's gender. The fact that LSM Revan has more possibilities to save Bastila (but still can stay away from the romance option) isn't that significant.

Ever wanted to go DS without face changes?
Sikon replied to Masta Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
And this is why I think Bastila didn't actually fall, despite what others say... at least in the ending that actually happened. A rotten face is sort of the point... I think at least some people don't play DS because they don't want an ugly character. Although I wouldn't play DS even if the DS faces were more good-looking. -
1. I'm not female, but I do want to see a female PC. Because I'm tired of the "Boy loses girl, boy saves girl, they kiss" formula. Of course, I don't want it vice versa, but fortunately KOTORs don't offer the opposite formula. 2. Why do people insist on calling them "aliens"? To that matter, there is no guarantee that Star Wars humans are identical to us (even more, they are not, since if we look at Earth humans from a Star Wars perspective, it should raise a question why they cannot feel the Force). Coruscant humans are just another species in the Star Wars galaxy, but I don't see anyone calling them aliens. It's outrageous. 3. "Romances are half the game" is an opinion, not a fact. "Romances are insignificant and can be safely omitted" is also an opinion. I prefer to hold the second one. Maybe I should go ahead and write a script of Handmaiden sequences wihout any romance... but then, of course, people will say they are vastly inferior to the actual game, so I won't.

Well, we have the polar cap...

What planet is seen from Goto's yacht?
Sikon replied to Sikon's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, if that's purple, then perhaps I'm color-blind. Although I'm indeed somewhat color-blind. But not to such an extent, I believe. -
No, I won't. I never played DS and never will. Never made sense to me, even if we assume that Bastila has truly fallen, Revan's sudden departure is not something that a true Sith Lord would do.

It is possible to avoid such outcomes and stoll max influence with both characters. What? Kreia is one of the easiest characters to influence. Considering the refugee, tell her that there is wisdom in her words or that you'll consider it. That's strange, indeed. Look at their alignment. If you're 100% LS, then the more influence you have, the more LS they become. And in real life, you also can't tell how much respect a person holds for you.
