Even on Hardcore, I'm taking down enemies with 2 shotgun blasts. The only time you run into trouble is with big groups of enemies firing on you.

I'd play on Hardcore, just because once you get the Spectre weapons, the game gets ridiculously easy on anything but Hardcore/Insane.

Total number of sidequests is around 70 (or at least from what I've heard over at Bioware's forum), so if you did all those in under 23 hours, plus the main quests, that's pretty impressive.

What's your favorite gun? Mine is the G3, you unlock that at level 25 I believe M14+silencer is awesome.

Controller is 10 times better for a game like Gears.

PC is no way to play Gears of War. The cover system was designed to be played with the 360 controller, I tried the PC version at a friends house and found it clunky and awkward.

Kaftan get Call of Duty 4! me, llyranor, Kor, and Nick (he'll have his soon) all play. I don't know if jags has it but if he doesn't, he should get it too.

I'm starting to get into Mass Effect. The RPG+Shooter combo is a little awkward at first, but I'm getting used to it.
