Flyers just took game one 2-1. Kovalchuk didn't score but he look good, mostly.

Picked up a brand new Fender Telecaster about two days ago. Very awesome. 20w amp and the guitar ran me about $550, which isn't horrible. Played for about 8 hours between today and yesterday. for anyone whose interested this is it:

SJ vs COL: SJ in 5 CHI vs NSH: CHI in 5 VAN vs LA: VAN in 6 PHX vs DET: DET in 6 WSH vs MTL: WSH in 5 NJ vs PHI: NJ in 7. Flyers have dominated the season-series this year, but NJ will make up for it in the playoffs. I'm expecting (read: hoping) Kovy to explode for a few multi-goal games. BUF vs BOS: Could go either way. BOS powerplay won't be the same without Savard, but Chara, Wideman and Thomas can swing the game defensively. I'll say BUF in 6 PIT vs OTT: PIT in 5

Trolled. Also, Lundqvist sucked in the shootout. He wasn't clutch. Fact. Also, if Gaborik was clutch he would have scored. If Drury was Gaborki's age, he would have scored. Times are different. Rangers should have gotten someone who could control a game after Jagr left. But they didn't. They got Gaborik. A frail scorer who is nothing more than a wrist shot. He has no grit, like other all stars (and clutch performers) like Crosby and Ovechkin. Rangers got SO lucky that he managed to stay healthy the whole year.

Rangers lose in the shootout. Lundqvist was clutch all game but couldn't handle the pressure I guess. Gaborik couldn't score in regulation. he's also anti-clutch, and now that Drury is on the down end of his career they have no one to score in big games.

Why were they all traveling in the same plane? How dumb can they be?

This game looks unbelievably good. Also, reviews are so flawed these days I hardly take them into consideration. If a game looks like I will enjoy it, like RDR, or is part of a series I have already enjoyed (NHL, Mass Effect), I'll buy it. What is so "unethical" about trying to get your game good press? Or at the very least making sure the reviewers notice some of the technical achievements. Apparently the world in RDR is huge and very realistic, however when playing it you may be so sucked in you don't even realize that you haven't seen a loading screen in 5 hours, or that you've never heard the same dialogue line twice. Rockstar just wanted to say, hey, we did this - don't overlook that.

It's spring break and 85 degrees out over here in New Jersey. gonna spend the day playing pickup baseball/ultimate frisbee.

Went to the Apple Store today and checked out the iPad. The place was packed but when I got my hands on it I was really impressed. Played a song in Rock Band and the visuals are great. I can't justify buying one myself, cause I don't travel a lot but if I spent a lot of time on trains/buses/planes I could see it working out nicely. Unless I was driving the vehicle, then not so much

Me and my sister started getting along way better when she went to college. Maybe once every two weeks we have a solid conversation through texts, and when she comes home I don't mind spending a little time with her. Time away from people you hate makes you realize you don't hate them so much.

That's the only reason I can't justify buying PC for gaming. Spending 1k on a computer just to play video games (unless you are doing some sort of editing and need a system for that) seems a little ridiculous to me. Cost efficiency is the reason I play consoles now. I'm not trying to start a flamewar, just making the observation that, even if you only upgrade once every 5 years (which I doubt), I still only pay $400 for a console.
