  1. Then it is applicability you are talking about, not allegory.
  2. Allegory and applicability are two very different things. One is deliberate, and in another any kind of parallels are only a side effect.
  3. It is the same kind of bummer than if you watch Rambo and upset about lack of discussion about PTSD. Everything has its own time and place.
  4. Censorship affects everyone. It might start small. Yes it's only a little joke, so why not just remove it, right? But before long, you'll have thousands of people shouting to remove half your game because there's something in it that they found "offensive". And who exactly decides that it's "dumb and vulgar"? You? Well what if someone disagrees, what if someone doesn't find anything wrong at all in that joke? Or even worse, finds it funny.
  5. Well then fight with that, and not with things that have nothing to do with any of it. But yes, shouting on the einternet is easy, and actually doing something about the real stuff is much, much harder.
  6. Exactly. These people are not civil rights activist or something like that, they're are just bullies looking for someone to bully.
  7. PLEASE, Obsidian, don't cave in to these people. For the love of god. Lionhead took down an innocent tweet, and now this? These people don't care about you, they don't care about Pillars of Eternity, or about games in general. All they care about is being effended by everything. That's it. Don't give them what they want just because they shout loud enough.
  8. Obsidian shouldn't delete this not because there's nothing criminal about the joke, or because it's not really transphobic. But because these people won't stop just with that joke. The more you give them, the more they'll demand untill everything is exactly how they want it to be.
  9. Of course they won't. They'd have to design an entirely new combat system.
  10. I play on hard, and i don't have any problems with rest. Thought it can be tricky having only two supplies. So have you thought that maybe it's you, and not the game?
  11. Yep, not working for me either. Trying to click on them redirects me to my profile.
  12. "First, slowly deselect each DLC on the DLC content list one by one. Should go from "installed" to "not installed" after a small 0kb update. Do this for every DLC that hasn't appeared in your Pillars of Eternity Folder. Then, restart steam and re log in. Validate Pillars of Eternity. Finally, begin to select the dlcs you want to download again, one by one. Should fix this." From steam forums. Helped me.
  13. I'm guessing the problem is that steam for whatever reason thinks that bonus content is already installed, hence not downloading anything. Once they fix that, we'll get our goodies.
  14. So hold on, is documentary actually finished? Read on steam that it isn't.
  15. It says that i have all the bonus content installed, but i still can't find it anywhere.
  16. Yeah, same question. Can't find anything in the games folder.
  17. Always very interesting to watch something like this. I think i might even watch the full thing before starting to play the actual game.
