  1. Should have come out a long time ago. But the PC is quite nice. Still can't figure out why they felt the need to change her hair from red to blonde, though. I'm a little disappointed in the graphics, though. They seem kinda dated.
  2. I like Diablo, but I would definitely prefer Starcraft II over Diablo 3. The Diablo series ended with all 3 primary evils dead, but Starcraft ended with a major cliffhanger! I wouldn't call it as bad as K2's ending, but it sure did feel like it wasn't supposed to end there. The Starcraft storyline is in desperate need of continuation. 900 posts and counting/spamming...
  3. Geez, why would anyone waste his or her time writing fanfics?
  4. Yeah right. For one thing, Kreia couldn't even stand up to Sion alone, and got owned by the exile in the end. Secondly, Vader was one of the most powerful force users, Jedi or Sith, in history. Heck, he was born straight from the force. He would dominate Kreia in battle any day. (assuming he had earplugs to drown out her ranting)
  5. No. And, what Battlwookie said. This thread has been done a few times already. Just use the search function at the bottom of the screen and enter in something like Kreia, Arren Kae, etc.
  6. Already participated! Yup, now DL can actually confirm in writing that I'm crazy. :D By the way, I've had fried squid before at chinese restaurants. Good stuff. :D Has anyone here actually tried dog before? I'm rather curious. I wonder what it'd taste like.
  7. It's in the ****ing bible, what's this, selective reading? And must I remind you that all disciples were touched by the Holy Ghost. Tongues as if of fire appeared to them, parting and coming to rest on each of them, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in different tongues according to how the Spirit inspired them to speak (Acts 2:3-4). If you didn't mean what I thought, then I apologize. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 1. I stand by that statement. 2.That statement does not imply that Satanism is more "moral" than Christianity. And another thing you ignorant buffoon Satanism as a religion or better yet philosophy has been evolving, unlike your beloved Christianity, with the passing of time and the advent of science.Remember the Enlightenment period or the theory of Evolution? All this things have shaped it in one way or another.Good try though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Once again, it is not true Satanism. Perhaps you should actually read up on the subject. How many times do I have to repeat that? If you say that's Satanism, then you might as well say that Christianity that doesn't recognize God is still Christianity. And as for your verse, the Disciples still were not perfect. They were not made into Gods. Peter denied Jesus three times, for crying out loud. Mary, however, wasn't an apostle and she never denied Jesus. Basically, the Apostles could make mistakes. So try another one. I dare you. Also, someone kill this thread already.
  8. Cute avatar, Shadowpaladin. Hmm...thanks to this thread, I now have 54 additional posts in the WOT section.
  9. And let's not forget, Jesus also said - "Let he who be without sin cast the first stone." BTW Shadowpaladin, unfortunately, not all the Bible agrees with science. That's where we have to make the leap of faith. View it as a work of fiction if you want to, but don't be disrespectful about it, which is what you were being. Someone kill this thread already.
  10. *ahem* I meant those words were Paul's words, not the words of Jesus himself. Thanks, Shadowpaladin. :"> Post fixed.
  11. Those were letters written by Paul, not Jesus, for cryin out loud. The Psalms were speaking figuratively, as he was referring to Babylon the country in the verse, not actual people. As for Satanism, you said: If you didn't mean what I thought, then I apologize. But I suggest you do the studying, since YOUR knowledge seems to be lacking. As I've said, true Satanism recognizes the existance of Satan, otherwise it is just a belief with Satanic philosophies. As for the Exodus verse, God was giving instructions to his people when they were in the desert and had to abide by more rigid standards. It was how they were to deal at the time with those around them who were hostile. It does not apply to the followers of religion in general. Also, keep in mind, times change. That was a time when God's people were still surrounded with hostility on all sides, and it was quite dangerous for them to let their enemies live.
  12. That's not the Bible, thank you very much.
  13. Well, I'm sorry if you feel that way. But that is exactly what you're being right now. Did ever occur to you that it's humanity's fault, not God or the religion's fault? As I've said, come up with a Bible verse that actually justifies the inquisition or the witch burnings. Otherwise, don't you dare say that Christianity sanctions things like that, unless you're actually prepared to back it up. @Blank: She was referring to me.
  14. Boring. We've been over this countless times before. Come up with a Bible verse that actually justifies that, then come back to me. Otherwise, don't make ignorant posts. @Baley: I never said anything about agreeing with him, I just found it rather ironic after you claimed Satanism held a higher moral platform earlier in the thread. And true Satanism is religious. Satanism that does not acknowledge the devil or his existance is not true Satanism. Rather, it is just a belief with Satanic philosophies.
  15. This from the guy touting the moral superiority of Satanism.
  16. Except Starcraft.
  17. I'm sometimes a little torn between an unbeliever's place in heaven. The Bible states "I am the way, the truth, and the life, nobody comes to the father except through me." Can that be interpreted as you have to believe in Jesus to get into heaven, or when it comes down to the decision, the judgement rests through Jesus. Don't forget, supposedly it is because of his sacrifice we can get into heaven. Perhaps that is what it implies? Because I know a lot of good, non-Christian people. I would like to think God would not send these people to hell simply because they did not follow Christianity. And what about those who never heard of Christianity in the first place? What would God do about them? Also, Jesus did say "Not everyone who comes to me saying 'Lord, Lord' will enter heaven" or something like that (I unfortunately do not have my Bible on hand). BTW Commissar, you say you object to me explaining why I'm right? I think's it's pretty absurd to make a claim without even backing it up. state I hardly think trying to back up my faith deserves to be criticized by you. It's hardly adequate to say "I believe this" and leave it at that. Naturally, I think you'd want to back up your point of view as well. *sigh* And I was hoping this thread had died.
  18. Latin es una idioma muerta! Deben ustedes hablar espanol!
  19. ^^^ Saw that coming a mile away. Probably the scene with this line: "I find your lack of faith disturbing." :D And the lightsaber duels.
  20. So how come Vader couldn't regenerate the 20+ limbs he lost?
  21. Hmm... not convinced... would you really trust what a fundamentalist nutjob said about their plans? And surely such information isn't shared with the smaller, less-nutty fundamentalists in order to prevent such information from being revealed? DL <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Maybe, maybe not. I think it'd be a whole lot worse if we just made no attempt whatsoever, don't you think? And if questioning (not necessarily torture) never brought answers, what makes you think they'd still do it? It can't hurt to try.
  22. Well, yes. I doubt the government would allow torture, especially since we're supposed to be on the higher moral platform. People will yell at us first before they yell at terrorists for torturing individuals. And Abu Graib was discovered by the press, but what about the other torture scenarios that were taken care of before the press got hold of it? As I've said, torture is generally the exception, not the rule. But that's where we run into a problem. How does one define torture? Torture is generally denoted as an act that leads to physical and/or mental injury or harm. The connotation of torture might differ from person to person, however. Most people seem to agree that stripping men naked and humiliating them is torture. Would holding a barking, snarling dog to a prisoner be considered torture, if it means getting information out of a terrorist? What about keeping a prisoner from sleeping? Would that be torture? I read something about what some terrorists have said about some of our prison facilities (Guantanamo). According to one terrorist, they mocked the way our prisons treated them so, well, humanely. His words were basically that the prison wasn't a torture chamber, that it hadn't broken him in any way, and that they could wait them out until they were released if they had to. And don't think I'm saying we should treat them inhumanely, I'm just trying to point out that these people can and will take advantage of the fact that we're supposed to be the "good guys". here it is
  23. But Hades is making it seem like torture is a routine policy of the U.S. The fact that these soldiers get arrested in the first place for it, and the public outcry they face as well, should make our stance clear, shouldn't it?
  24. I think it's safe to say there's nothing on this Earth Hades will enjoy anytime soon.
  25. which version? The one that went from blond(hair) to brunette(hair) to black(skin tone not hair), the one that was in returns, or the one that had Halle Berre? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The one with Halle Berre, of course.
