I'm just wondering about the HL2 expansion coming out this summer (is it an expansion? or is it a stand alone in the HL universe?) The one major beef I had with HL2 was they didn't explain the progression from HL1 where you work for the US and everything is status quo, to having aliens control the world because of the admin from Black mesa patenting everything there.

I thought it would work with the "Special" armor made so a jedi could still use his power.

I didn't get the sense that Sion was working for Nihilus. It seemed like all three sith lords were operating independantly until Kreia returned to her academy and forced sion into submission.

not really. Malachor was you basic planet. What the Mass Shadow Generator did was it compressed the entire planet and caused the planet's gravity to increase geometricly, this ended up killing all on the planet itself because their bodies couldn't withstand the force (imagine a human body going from earth to jupiter in the space of one second) the Ships above were not able to cope with the force of gravity now tugging at them and were drawn into the planet itself. Nihilus literally had to wrench the Ravenger from the planet's surface. The reason the planet explodes is because the remote when it set off the Generator literally caused the mass to go from really really big to itty bitty. and the planet literally just broke up.

You never got force drain did you? It's ironic but the way to make that battle much much shorter is to FD the dead bodies. That way Malak can't do it. I liked The star forge mainly because I felt like I had a reason to be there. And because my opponents showed some sembalance of order (they followed Malaks orders to the letter) The droids on the Star Forge are easy because Destroy droid was a one hit kill at that point. The humans were another probem.

I always wondered why Exile didn't recognise bao. In the beginning he's referred to as a lowly tech. but at the end you learn he's the one who was told to set off the Mass Shadow Gen! I think you'd remeber sombody who was that important, unless Exile was blocking his entire experiance of the war which seems unlikly given some of the lines in the game. :ph34r:

I'm going to say that Malachor was fine, until I learned about the cut content.

I doubt it's a quest. Mainly because it's a Random Loot system. Best guess is wander around killing everything and opening all the containers.

ultimatly if you combined Nihilus and Sion into one Sith you'd get the same effect as having two underdevloped ones. And to answer Kil, Nihilus's powers were similar in nature to Exile's. Difference being Exile hadn't used his and had no desire to until he was attacked.

I do see that Maul was using what's considered to be Evil powah to fight but in NJO at least so does Jacen Solo after the turning point in Traitor. of course this is a complete other sect outside of the Jedi, and Sith. What if he was actually incapable of feeling Happyness and kindness to the little creatures to defend the people? I'm guessing you'd back him in that situation. Maul is hard to figure out if he's truly evil or just misguided beyond all help, because he doesn't have the lines or the scenes that flesh out his charaacter. So we're never going to be able to solve this. Also I'm going to point out that Maul never tried to use Force Choke, Speed, Rage (well thats a maybe), lightening, scream, dominate mind, or any of a zillion other powers other diarksiders used. He seems more like greivous in that he's just a lightsaber master with a few extras.

I still get a horrible feeling of dejavu. I 'm remebering a thread that I can't find where sombody gave out a sit where one fell to the darkside and the options were Exile, Revan, Conversion, draw, both die. OR somthing to that effect. But for this thread I'm going to say Revan.
