really it depends on what I'm playing. If it's an RTS I'm gonna try to find somthing akin to a strat guide because "Go to the little italy shaped piece of land that juts to the north 2/3's of the way to the left of the map" really ain't that informative... I'd prefer to have a map for that section in front of me. there have been a few other games that I've picked up the strat guide for... One of em was Xmen Legends 1 if only because I wanted to get all the disks and everything. Fighting games I simply ask "Why!?!" because all it is is a thwack fest. Meanwhile FPS games it depends on which game. Quake? no Half Life? maybe. Deus Ex? Oh sweet jesus yes.

RA 3 is official.. C&C3 is a ?

I don't think most people would take hugs from the guy that's standing in the window very well... we did have a neo nazi come through last week at some point too... I wouldn't hug him if I had a gun to my throat.

I think in q2 of 2005 they announced that the next installment of RA was going to be their primary project.

well it should... after this nothing of note could really happen until clark turns 20 and becomes a journalist. I still miss the Lex luthor that wants to kill Superman because superman ruined his highschool science project.

I give it two more years before video game stores become somthing akin to adult stores.

whee... just got a person yesterday who made a simple order... then when she got to my window (1st one, take the money and give em change) she asked "do you guys have the yogurt thing?" "yes... mc donalds has the yogurt parfait." "oh... i'll take ten." after she had ordered... after she had made me and the guy taking the order play 20 questions with her.... graah.... (plus we hardly ever have THAT many parfaits made in the store...) then a guy cussed at me today for giving him 2 quarters because he spent 3 minutes looking for the other two while I was paying his order.

at least they don't scale your game like they did in homeworld 2... you have 20 battlecruisers? ha HA! the computer magically has 10X that many fighters. And on the lvl up thing, I'd think that you wouldn't increase stats at that point. Rather you'd have the stats slowly increase until the lvl up where your character gains a new skill. For example, Ranma is a lvl 19 martial artist who's been working for a long time with his speed. in the middle of a fight he finds himself against sombody who can withstand immence amounts of impact. so what ranma does is start using said speed to throw 100 punches in the time it takes for a normal person to throw one. when he does this it'd be "Level UP!" for ranma and he'd become a lvl 20 martial artist.

stich is a summon now... I don't use it in favor of using the "Drive" ability which increases my attack/magic to an incredible degree. and the camera has gotten ALOT better over all. it's an improvement over the first but there feels like theres no reason to use the summons (still). One thing that bugs the heck out of me is the "auto X" abilities where if your near a teammate and hit triangle with full mana you do your uberdoubleattackofdoom. this wipes out your mana and somtimes is a complete waste because your trying to use a special trigger. Also like the previous the summons really don't have a reason other than to show off. I did find it funny that all the summons from the previous game that made an appearance as a main character (simba and mushu mainly) act like they were ALWAYS at your side killing heartless when I didn't ever use them except maybe once. Ultimatly they need to reevaluate what the summons are and to make them worth the sacrifice to bring em in.

there is one guy who's threatening to sue our franchise because my boss didn't fire me after I offended him... he misconstrued one of my jokes as a racist comment.
-
well he doesn't become human. he is affected by time same as anyone else. And appearently Kryptonite doesn't work on him anymore because he's absorbed so much solar radiation. (Superman is a giant solar battery if you didn't know.)

Do you mean Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for MSX or Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty for PS2 and PC? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes. It was a bundle for

inside the building we close at about 11... but drive through stays open another hour on weekdays and an hour and a half on weekends.

I was using somewhat ballpark figures...

its pretty close on some of the Tiberian Dawn maps for the decade pack... I think you've got maybe 80% on your screen at one time.

he's supposed to. The pic is various panels from Kingdom Come. in it, superman has exiled himself because the public doesn't think he is the savior he used to be and that his moral system is too hi ground. he comes out of retirement when captain atom goes critical in kansas, Nuking americas breadbasket. after he comes back he goes on a crusade of his own to bring everyone that's not in line with his ideals under control. Which by that point is a large portion of the metahuman population. eventually to deal with all the "terrorists" superman makes a prison in the center of the now dead kansas. the place becomes a powder keg that eventually explodes causeing the humans to nuke the massive battle that unfolds... it's quite a good story with the art by Alex Ross (from "Marvels")

ok. I work at McDonalds now full time. Tonight I had closing shift. which means that after about 10 o'clock I do everything with the drive through while my boss does everything with the front counter. also we don't make that many fries and the like because we don't want to make more of a mess than we have to thus we often hand out not so hot fries. Well today we had a MASSIVE rush that lasted from about 8:30-11pm. during this time I got all kinds of people coming through. Most are either nice family people headed somewhere or high school students using what little free time they get on the weekends to have fun. One of our customers asked for one thing, a large fries, $2.13 all told. he comes around after waiting and I ask for the money (like most mcd's we have two windows. After about 9 or 10 we close the first window and do everything at the second one.) the driver was a young woman, and appearently her passenger was her boyfriend or somthing. they dig and dig and finially the guy says "we only have about 2.09. can you spot us 4 cents?" ... .... ..... hmmmm... Usually I'm a pretty nice guy but I don't like to screw around and just give people stuff for free or give discounts because they ask (I have given a discount to a guy who was nice to a young boy who was 2 cents short... I felt he deserved it). Especially when the owner of the store (we're a franchise) is going spastic about money because one of the managers ran off with 5k from our safe. I tell him no... expecting the pair to just drive off. They don't... instead they give me 3+ dollars. the question running through my head at this point is "why the heck did you ask me for money when you already had enough?" so I give him his fries and he drives off. Here's the kicker. Appearently while I was continuing to work on my window and orders, the guy parked came in and complained to my manager that "the fries are cold and that (I'm not going to use the word but it's a derogitory for homosexual male that starts with F) over there didn't spot me 5 cents!" Now I didn't actually hear this (my boss told me a few hours later when we were lounging around looking for crap to do) but my question is: Why the heck are you telling a manager of a business your pissed off at one of the employee's because said employee wouldn't let you get by with less money than you need to have paid?

I decided to go with somthing a little more... realistic.
