turned out it was the CD drive I put it in, when I switched it to my dvd drive it worked fine... odd.

Ok, I reinstalled K2 and find that when I start the game everything moves EXTREMLY fast and the lighting is off. I was wondering if anyone had a CLUE as to what's happening.

went looking today and found I had lost my Kotor 2 disk one..... :cries: looks like i have to buy another one unless the devs want to send me another one Neaverminde Found it.

No actual nudity to my knowledge. There was certainly enough tna to make it close enough.

Me in my opinion suffers from having to few really well done planets and way to many useless planets. As much as I like galactic scavenger hunts, that is rediculous. I completed it in about 30 hours with a minimum of side quests and was still at level 35 when I finished. I think bioware put in to much empty space (that's what drove me away from most of the side quests, all the massive amounts of walking) I also noticed they didn't give out like any omnitools in my loot bags.

I forgot to add Indigo Prophesy. 1) What was cut out of that game at the request of Atari was no marked improvement. 2) The latter portion of the game just being ridiculously silly would have been the same. true, but i remember at least one person on this forum grumbling that they should have bought the import version rather than the US version because a few of the scenes would make more sense. Hence I included it.

That isn't what I'm saying. Its hard for me to put into words what I'm thinking but, ultimately what I'm trying to say is that we shouldn't make AO into a pariah of the rating system. Admittedly what I pointed out are the most... visible reasons that a game would be rated ao (I haven't played silent hill 2). I'm not trying to sound like the pimply faced teenager who's got problems talking to women. And I also to a degree object to the fact god of war is not an AO title. It's a fantastic game but it's way over the top in terms of gore and it's the only game I can think of that actually has honest to god nudity in it. the scene with Liara is pretty much a montage of silhouetted shots of a nude asari with a fully clothed PC. and the whole thing with the "gentlemans club" was kinda the point. it was a dance club without a dance floor. then a character mentioned strippers and my brain clicked.

Ok heres my problem. Every so often my wireless network card will simply stop transmitting data, I don't know why but it will just flat out stop and after about a second it'll restart transmitting. I was wondering if you guys have any CLUES as to what it might be. this sucker is a linksys of some kind (donno the model) and it only started up about 2 months ago. Its about 2 years old.

... eh with the way the rating system is right now I think topless women is about the only thing that could get a game rated AO. and even then Sony was able to get God of War pushed into the M catagory. I'm not trying to say that only nudity would be added, but when you look at what gets M rated (gta, God of War, Gears of War...) sometimes I think that the only way to get rated AO is to have a topless person or three in the game. I'm guessing that were AO games marketable you'd find those three plus bloodlines would instantly be AO material albeit they would be more over the top.

Playing mass effect got me thinking. Wouldn't some games benefit from being able to let themselves be rated AO rather than M if the market would allow AO to be sold? Mass Effect got me thinking this because theres an... :ahem: gentlemens club... that you visit in one of the first locations. at least thats how it's described. it's really just a strip joint with fully clothed strippers. Also theres the ever infamous sex scene and, you get the point. I also know that devs (well some of em) would jump a the chance to have a minimal amount of censoring on their work so that it can become a profitable venture. Elder Scrolls would probably benefit alot from an AO ability, as would Assassins Creed, God of War (good freaking lord those should have been rated AO), and don't forget bloodlines. I'm not trying to suggest that E-Boobies for everyone is a good thing, but when done tastefully (like God of War's) it can REALLY add to the atmosphere. IO mean a Strip joint should have at least topless girls strutting around or why call it a strip joint? :sigh: I guess I'm just venting that wallyworld (aka wallmart) and my own corp don't sell AO's so the devs don't get to see how a AO "lite" (the only ones are the market now are pretty much interactive porn) would do on the market. after all "Sex Sells"

Just beat it.... the game only had two tough parts, the first was when you meet the first geth destroyer on eden prime and the second was when you were trying to find your girlfriend. the whole ambush was hard, otherwise once you hit about level 15 things become smoother than silk. I thought they should have had a romantic rivalry between williams and Liara Anyway. Overall the game felt too big. and some of the sidequests felt like they wanted to force you to be a hybrid (I was a straitblooded soldier.) by having the quests require you to have decryption and electronics. anyway, now I'm off to start the female renegade. Also the game felt to spread out. Its an interesting feeling but I don't like running all over creation to do one quest then have to do the same thing for a different quest.

well I picked off my third mark (he's a runner so watch it) by leaping on his back and using the wrist blade to pop that thar jugular. and am now making my way through the fourth memory block.

I've managed to kill the first two marks (that's as far as I've gotten) like a true assassin and use the wrist blade. I like it a little better than Hitman because stealth ISN'T such a huge aspect of the game, well more that there is several ways assassinate your opponent.

Assasins Creed drew me in better than Mass Effect did.

do you have proof that they are right? Religion falls into that awkward zone that theres nothing to really prove it either way. and by popular belief the christians are wrong because more people believe in islam (I think) Jews are wrong because more people believe in christianity and in islam. you get the idea. I can understand the ESRB going to a right wing organization but to go christian seems wrong.
