~Di, I wouldn't care to defend the European media against charges of racism towards Americans. In my opinion they ARE racist. Hell, the Independent is towards Yanks the way the Daily Mail is towards brown people. However, US presidents do get assassinated with monotonous regularity. Frequently by racists. And that's white presidents. Personally, I think the entrenched racism in the US is a function of the problems with the penal system you have. So long as you have racial jail gangs, you're going to have racial groups outside jail.

I'm ****ing amazed to hear people talking about suicide as for cowards. I'll grant you some cowards commit suicide. But I also know of cases of decorated soldiers comitting suicide, so don't give me any of that ****. Trueneutral, I repsect you being against suicide. I'm 99% against suicide, myself. I'm given over considerable personal effort to helping people not kill themselves. But that's my point. Sampled the home-brewed beer we've been waiting for. Actually pretty good. Used a basic kit, and replaced the 1 kg of white sugar in the recipe with 300g honey, 700 g molasses, and 200g white sugar. Threw in some coriander seed for fun. 3 weeks in the making, and a solid bitter flavour, with a smooth almost buttery finish. 42 bottles of beer for about 18 quid!

I think you're over-reacting, taks. I have several friends who were only able to break their depression through the splint of drugs. The drugs are only dangerous if you think they are the whole stroy.
