  1. I love Japanese food and have tried to use Chopsticks, but ended up fumbling with them and sending them flying across the room. I figured I was going to put someone's eye out so I just stuck with the fork and spoon. Good idea. Nothing better for getting someone's eye out than a fork and spoon.
  2. ANY dream where you get to kill ewoks is a win in my book.
  3. I'm guessing you haven't. And besides which preparing for the worst could be a grotesque waste of resources. The same resources capable of exploiting better conditions and delivering ultimately more resilience, both emotionally and materially. That was more coherent than I had intended.
  4. The only thing the US exports nowadays are debt and Hollywood movies. I'm sure the rest of the world can handle these "repercussions". In before everyone else: ...and pure liquid evil.
  5. No. Worst game setting since the birth of games. I was struggling to understand ths until I noticed you are from Finland. And having been educated solely by mkreku in this respect I am convinced that Finland essentially IS the wh40k universe.
  6. I''d forgotten how funny I find Jim Carrey.
  7. Uh, no, LoF is Krezack. I thought we had established this? I thought Krezack was my mum. And my mum is dead. I'm very confused now.
  8. Loving all those perks. Surely a Morricone inspired perk would involve the harmonicas which also have no bloody use.
  9. Also in my news today: at some point - and I don't know when - I've started saying the Empire in British Empire as if it was the one with Emperor Palpatine at the head. And now I can't help trying to work out if he'd be better than our current administration, and more importantly if the various sweaty malcontents about would like him more. I'm guessing the would provided he made enough anti-American statements while building his new Death Star. I'm also wondering if a man who built two massive fatally flawed battle stations would still manage to be smart enough to have scrapped Tornado and Eurofighter.
  10. Indeed. Dark setting - check Gun - check Phallic symbology - check
  11. Interesting notion.
  12. In his tribe it is a mark of great respect.
  13. It's been long enough that I've forgotten where they were, and how many, and how dangerous. ROFL'd when I went into a 'certain' room, got to the middle and thought "I vaguely remember this being full of traps", so I cast 'find traps' and the whole thing lit up redder than a schoolboy who's just met Kelly Brook. Was frozen to the spot, trying to think of some way to overcome my basic incompetence and get to the treasure. Like a schoolboy who's just met Kelly Brook.
  14. I just realised that it's a bit weird that LoF is also obyknven and obyknven's avatar is Anna Chapman. With her norks on display like a shelf of veg.
  15. It's a dangerous business. I was brought up to believe that the prime measure of a man is how far he can control his greed and selfishness. Of course I got taught that mostly by my big brother who subsequently imploded his own life by suddenly abandoning the principle and being very selfish all at once. Balance is the key, I feel. Too little concern for others and duty results in you being little better than a chimpanzee. Too much concern and eventually the mind revolts under a primal desire not to get shafted by everyone in one's orbit.
  16. OVER educated. Not under educated.
  17. Actually, maybe it makes good commercial sense to adopt both IP and technology, if your strength is writing content, characters and stories.
  18. I failed hard with my dual classing of Imoen. Didn't realise that the primary career skills never get any better. So I put in a huge efffort to get her thief skills back only to have her still unable to defuse most of the traps in Durlag's tower. My solution, which I won't have time to try for few days is to leave one pompous paladin in his pants in the basement of the tower and run off to get Safana. Not sure if this will work. But I've gone round and bought every potion of perception I can find. So now it's: Human paladin - player Dwarf fighter-cleric human cleric human ranger human thief-mage human thief Which is quite a change to combat. Where previously with only the thief mage being (slightly) vulnerable at AC1, I could more or less flail gleefully into most fights. Have to take a lot more care, I guess.
  19. Well, that's what I figured. A meaningful contribution like that. ~~ Question: Do games get developed like normal commercial applications?
  20. Story Critics allege the Lib Dems are running a 'cash for access' deal. Lib Dem HQ appear to defend it as 'access for cash'.
  21. Disenchanted with the pub last night. I'm going through a phase where only work holds my attention for long. Doesn't make me very good company! Just tired today, eating leftovers and drinking pint after pint of green tea. Nearly finished two books, and played a good few hours of Baldur's Gate. Still rate Durlag's Tower very highly.
  22. 'Glinty teeth? 'Winsome grin', surely?
  23. For me... Signing my name to an online petition is tantamount to clapping at a public debate and hollering "Good answer, good Answer!". Fun?
  24. I have a hangover, does that count?
