What makes mirror effects in video games so terrifying? I remember some mirror scares in RE2 and Doom 3 that nearly killed me - stuff that makes you throw your mouse (or controller) across the room. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I did that exact thing the first time i found the mirror in Doom3 shortly after the invasion. In fact i regularly do that in Doom3, and end up throwing my [wireless ] mouse down the back of my computer desk because of some random shmoe jumping out in front of me I dont know what it is, but in horror games, you just seem to be on edge most of the time, then when something just jumps out, it still scares the crap out of you!!

The game is way to easy, if I needed to use them though..I would :D <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I always thought that too really. Although, I would change from the + against blasters form, to the + against Jedi form now and again (their names elude me )

That's kinda what i was thinking earlier on, it does kinda qualify him as uber-badass, but Malak was kind of thuggish and out for revenge. This is really why i think Vader is better; he destroyed all of a planet, not just the surface to "control" the galaxy and just be plain evil .

Ok thanks that does clear things up. Does actually sound pretty great now, although, wouldn't you consider just moving a few things around and getting rid of a few things in a few planets, such as on Dxun, removing all the training areas and the battle ring, and moving the buildings around so its not completely the same?? I just think it wouldn't have a particularly amazing effect if the planets were exactly the same as in the original.

A few questions i got here, will you still have any of the characters from the original KotOR2, and will the characters that are supposedly in their places have completely different dialogue and make a completely different storyline, or will it kinda just be different skins on chars. I also see that you still have Dxun on there, so im guessing that the original planets will be on there too, and the story of the planets is all the same as well?? And, well basically, is any of the original story still in it at all, or is it completely redone story??

That seems to explain why they look so different on console to what they do on PC then, apart from graphics cards and memory and such giving PC's a boost.

That also is weird since mine is nVidia, but recently i have been able to fine tune Doom so its only jerky after doing certain things, like saving and viewing the PDA. Its all good.

That i find is a bit odd really, since HL2 runs like butter on my low-grade machine, whereas Doom3 [sometimes] has trouble running smoothly on my comp. Frustrating :angry:
