Level up chraters on the ebon hawk
Retnuh replied to Craigboy's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
After reading the original post, I'm not real sure on if I know what the topic is. Something about leveling up on the ebon hawk. Sounds like a good idea to me. -
I agree. Mission and Jolee are the hardest for me to find....on a constant basis. And about that only way I could remember how to get off the EH was that Big Z was standing by the hallway to the exit.

I voted "don't care"...which means I didn't vote. As long as they get that game out with no delays then I will be happy. Feb. 2005?

I agree. All of the armor suits looked that were in the same category looked the same. Darth Bandons armor was just a (forgive my spelling) Echani/Massassi/Combat/Zabrak....am I missing any?....painted black with pretty little silver lining. But what REALLY bugged me was the useless pistol holster.

Was there a topic here? -
I think Kotor II is a hybrid. Kind of an RPG/Adventure. This, in my opinion (which doesn't mean much) allows Kotor II to break the standard RPG rules of one on one confrontation no matter how many enemies. I am going to try and make this as quick and painless as possible. I believe they could implement a system that would allow the player to fight more then one enemy. Aside from some of the force powers, this was not possible in Kotor I, obviously. I think it could be done (while paused) by selecting one enemy, selecting the feats/powers etc. to inflict, then select another enemy and do the same. Then have an option of either simultaneous fighting, alternating between the two enemies, or just finish off a row of feats/powers and then go to the next enemy. This should not go without having drawbacks. This would put your defenses on a lower level and make your attack/damage less powerful. Maybe even lower you stamina. But, you would be able to fend off more then you enemy. Every player could have this option and your ability to use it could improve as you level up (maybe even make it a feat). If a Jedi/Dark Jedi uses force powers like this, it would decrease their powers much more then if they just used it on two different enemies at different times. This would also make the power weaker. And, like the other non-Jedi, they could get better at this as they leveled up, maybe even get to the point where there isn't a lack of defense, a stamina drain, or a substantial force power depletion. This idea could work for all players who dual wield or have a saber staff.... pistols included. I think it would be nearly impossible to do this with rifles or heavy guns. A Jedi who is proficient with a single light saber could not pull this off in my opinion. Unless they used their light saber on one enemy and force powers on another....so I guess it is possible, but only with a Jedi/Dark Jedi. If you guys have ideas on how they could do this.... realistically.... then say so. These opinions are kind of scattered but I think I have gotten my point across.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned, but this forum has too many topics and I don't feel like digging through them. Anyway, I would like to have better dual/one-on-one fights. For instance, and forgive me if I misspell a name, when I fought Darth Malak/Bandon/Bastila etc....for the most part, it lacked a great deal of substance and emotion. It was easy to beat most everyone and almost every fight seemed the same. Is there any way this could be more in-depth? 1. One idea is that maybe they could talk to each other WHILE they fight, instead of so many cut scenes. This would have been handy and interesting when fighting Bastila. 2. Another is if when I'm fighting Bandon and his little cronies come after me, I could force wave them with one hand and still be fighting him with the other. Simultaneously! Is this even possible? 3. What about different music during fights? Kotor I may have had it, but I don

I agree. The clothing concept would be a good area to improve on. I don't think they will though...too much. Besides the obvious new outfits and a seemingly "looser" jedi robe, we will still have to deal with the skin tight jump suit armed with a useless pistol holster.

Didn't the Fett bounty hunters have wrist mounted weapons? I don't remember exactly what type of weapons they were. Rocketlauncher on your wrist though? C'mon....thats a little far-out. Maybe it is some sort of utility weapon....darts and small energy blasts sound better.

OK, the face I used was the dude with the scar. And the long haired dude....or as I like to call him "Mullet Man", "Billy Ray Cyrus" was a joke. I don't know if it was just my game or what, but EVERY male Jedi I saw, other then the main male Jedi, was the long haired dude....whats up with that? All the white characters looked goofy, except for scar face. The black characters looked just as goofy if not worse. Though, the asian characters looked much better. I'm sure they will factor in what Reavn looked like from the first game to the second.

Black, White, Orange, and maybe a way to make the existing colors slightly darker or lighter. But, PLEASE no pink lightsabers....if there is a single hint or notion that there is a pink lightsaber in the game....I'm not getting it. Though I don't see them adding a pink lightsaber. Actually the only color I think they will add is orange and maybe a different shade of blue or green.

The PC is nice and all, but I do prefer the XBOX (console) when playing most if not all video games. I don't have to worry about a virus, stupid keyboards and a mouse, or patches because of bad programming. I like to sit on my 'easy' chair, relax and play my game on a BIG screen (or kinda big) with some sweet surround sound. Plus, the XBOX is $150 compared to a ridiculously expensive PC, that I will have to upgrade just to get a quality game experience. WAH WAH WAAAAAH.

I don't care if they speak basic or not. Don't need it to talk...just look mean and shot stuff. Its not like this is a face to face ordeal here. If I was approached by a Wookie, and he started talking some Wookie non-sense, I would borrow a WTF picture from Servant of Eru and toss it at the Wookie. Still, a bloody Rancor (race,species....who gives a fuuu) would be my choice and I would name him, after he becomes a Dark Jedi of course, Darth BoBo Chaney. I'm out.

I don't really care. ONLY if it was a set event. Other than that it would be get old rather quick and take away from the game. I change my vote to a HELL NO!

fanny pack???? C'mon, my evil Jedi needs a fanny pack.

I have only played the XBOX version....loved it. I heard that the PC version was a little different. I don't have XBOX live so I can't get the new download stuff. What did they make available on PC that XBOX did not have and vice-versa. ALSO...for those with an XBOX....how can I transfer large game saves, like my KotOR saves, to another XBOX? I have tried the system link and one memory card. The file was too big for the memory card. Help PLEASE!!

Will male characters be able to wear female armor?
Retnuh replied to severxsever's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
LMFAO. I believe Servant of Eru said what we are all thinking. I'm dumber just for reading this $#!+. -
Wookie was my choice. I am only familiar with a few of the races listed. BUT, this might not be a race....dunno....I want a bloody Rancor. I a big mean one. Also I would take a few Ewoks and Jawas, pave me a yellow brick road, and sings some freakin songs. G'day.

Who should make the leap to KotOR II?
Retnuh replied to Retnuh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Do you guys think that if they brought ANY of these characters back for part II, they may overshadow the new characters? You already know these characters. They would be part of the "group", where as you might not spend as much time with the new characters. In my opinion this would weaken the experience....now that I have thought about it. BUT....I do want to know their fates and maybe a small cameo would be nice. Although a game full of cameos is too much like a family reunion and in my experience....those are usually boring and lame with too much "remember the good old days". -
"Social Darwinism", an idea which holds that social policy should allow the weak and unfit to fail and die, and that this is not only good policy but morally right. I agree that this plays a large part in the Sith idea. Fascism also comes to play. It's hard to single this into one complete idea. The Sith are obviously very structured and have one shared ideal goal in mind.

Who should make the leap to KotOR II?
Retnuh replied to Retnuh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Ok, other NPC's. I want to see that Sith girl that I found in the cantina on Teris, that is if she didn't get blown up. I hope she isn't mad about the whole armor theft thing....would like to put a little "Jedi" in her. Also, I want to be locked in a 20' by 20' room with every damned Sand Person I didn't get a chance to kill. They're sorry bastards and need to be shot and cut a little....till they die. -
Who should make the leap to KotOR II?
Retnuh replied to Retnuh's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Well, I guess I could have put a "none of the above" choice on the poll, but I didn't so deal with it. I purposely left it out so all would suffer by having to make a choice. Just trying to aid in the destruction of society. BOOHAHAHA BOOHAHAHA -
Thanks for the preview. It didn't really give the information that I really wanted....but any information on KotOR II is new and good to me. The site that was posted (by a couple people), www.kotorfanfic.com, thats a cool site and thanks for posting it.

I would like to see Canderous. Besides HK-47, he was my favortie NPC. Though Carth (he grew on me) and Mission (is she legal now?) would make great cameos. I'm sure Revan and Bastila already have their place in the game.
