I really have no idea the discussion is here, but the notion of Jedi Battle Armor is a cool one. I saw the Cartoon Networks 5 minutes episodes of "Clone Wars" and did see O'Ben wear a suit that looked like modified clone armor (actually just without the helmet). Only in intense battles with hordes of enemies would a Jedi need this sort of attire. I could have used it fighting those endless amounts of droids that took me forever to fiqure out how to shut down. Oh Yeah, I actually liked the cartoon shorts and found them more interesting then the last two movies.....thats just me.

And would it hurt to do a proof read....this way I can bloody understand your ranting. If you are doing articles for different mags. or sites then you must have the spell/grammar check working oooooovertime. BUT, you are the "professional" and I'm just a lowly game player. G'day.

Yeah, I saw the same article. But, I doubt they would give out all the information concerning the events in the game. I'm sure we will be suprized

There is a couple links a few posts back...in the pictures is a "person" holding a rep. blaster. Is also wearing unfamiliar armor. Doubt it is new Sith armor....could be though. Just frenzied speculation....IT'S Canderous.

You could be right. In EGM they stated that many of the screenshots ment little to the game (one had a sith fighting along side you). So, I do agree that we should not take these pictures too seriously....story wise. BUT, I still hold on to the idea of getting the Ebon Hawk from Canderous (or some other past character) as a way of getting him envolved.

I believe that is a picture of Canderous. If so, he is in many of the pictures found at http://www.lucasarts.com/games/swkotor_sithlords/. That is his repeating blaster and that must be Mandalorian armor. Plus, the character seems to be envolved in the fighting along side the main characters. I think it is possible, just my opinion though, that HE is the one you get the Ebon Hawk from, or leads you to it. That would be a good way to get him envolved. He did help you get it in the original. Now that I think about it, there is a 90% chance that I could be right.

Why can you not be a different race? The first KotOR was so wide open that it didn't matter what the character LOOKED like....it was all about the actions taken and the choices made. I do understand though that there will be few changes between the original and KotOR II (besides storyline and new characters etc.). They do not want to implement too much change for fear of failure....but if I wanted the same game, I'll stick to the original and hope for more download content. I hope the new KotOR wil be better then the last, I'm just not sure....with the loss of the original composer and a new developer, star wars fans better hope and pray that the ship can stay intact and not sink like so many other sequels (or for that matter, star wars games).

I think all the above would be welcomed improvements and new ideas.

I agree. New hilts and even custom ones would be bloody great. I would even accept the ability to CHOOSE your own hilt. That would satisfy me.

Still.....I want a big bloody light saber. Like the Final Fantasy sword (not too certian which FF it is...maybe 7), but what would be the coolest is a saber like the Tetsusaiga from the Inuyasha series. Where it would start off as a regular light saber, but has the ability to quadruple its size...not just length but width. Freakin' sweet!

I'm not familiar with that one. Where would I have seen one?

Height, weight, AGE?, sex (yes please....DOH!), race, skin color, clothes etc. All of these would be cool, but I seriously doubt they will be able to add to or improve on all of these ideas for the character creation. I would be VERY cool though. They should and will, I hope, make improvements.

How bout they make a throwing star light saber, or a rocket launcher that fires light sabers. C'mon, stick with the single bladed light saber (small and large) and keep the staff saber (might as well, its too late to get rid of it now). BUT, how about a light saber that has a really fat light. Make it look like a Conan sword or if your familiar, the Tetsusaiga (adult swim junkie).

I "kinda" agree with you. The first KotOR did seem as if the dark side was more of a joke. More time was spent being sarcastic then being evil. I got tired of having to explain my evilness, people should know and tremble at the site of me as I play through the game.

I want to create a Yoda. That would be cool or maybe a Jedi Wookie. OK, trivia time....how can I move my KotOR game saves from one xbox to another? I have tried a memory card and the system link. They didn't work. The game save was too large to fit on the memory card.

I really like (still play it like crazy) the original KotOR game and hope that the second one will only be better. I do not have many doubts reguarding Obsidians ability to put out a high level game. Anyway, I need to get to the point. Compared to the original KotOR, I wonder how much different or better the player creation will be. In my opinion that makes the game more personal. The more input you put into how the character looks, acts etc. the better the overall experience. Does anyone have a guess or maybe an answer for this? It will be great (off the chain) if you can REALLY customize and in some ways create your characters outfit. Even better though, if it was possible to build your own lightsaber...not add stuff to it, but actually change the look of it. I know that most of this won't be done...it would be cool though.
