Yep! You even have two chances if picking it up, apparently. There's so much missable content in this game I'm afraid it's never going to get the praise it deserves due to its shortcomings being a lot more obvious. I saw an e-mail about it, but I don't think I actually found its location.

Just about to begin the final mission in Mankind Divided. I'm playing more of a run-and-gun style this time, so it probably won't take as long to make my way through the level.
-
Did anyone try and kill him? All I did was use an EMP mine or grenade (forget which one) and then the stealth takedown.
-
Same. For instance, I constantly seemed to run out of biocells my fist time through. This time, I've got 25 in my inventory and haven't had an issue replenishing them.

On my second play through of Mankind of Divided.

Neither. People who are bothered by gravelly voices obviously don't like the best Batman ever.

The one on the right needs a push-up bra.

Yeah, that's a bit disappointing. I find the side missions provided more variety about how you could complete the mission (ie. different outcomes). I thought that the last few missions had a lot of outcomes depending on your previous choices. Did they? I've only played through once so far, so I can't comment on those yet. The ones I have tackled thus far, I haven't seen different options to choose from that result in a different outcome.

I'm assuming the confrontation with Talos Rucker ends the same way no matter what?

This game needs a console version. (raises force field to deflect incoming debris)

I took out 11/11. It didn't seem to change anything.

Yeah, the side missions were more fun. I think it was because you tended to have to solve problems with them, whereas the main missions were basically straight forward about accomplishing a specific task. In other words, the side missions could have twists and turns, whereas the main mission you pretty much knew what you were getting in to.

Out of curiosity, which mission was it? Embarrassingly enough, I believe it's listed as SM02. The one where that dude has a bunch of followers and you can't use your aug persuasion ability in that room you first enter and speak to him.

I just came across a side mission in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided on my second play through that I didn't encounter in my first game. I guess it pays to roam around the sewers. I just came across it while I was moving through the sewers after completing the Neon drug side mission.

I believe CDPR confirmed that everything comes on the discs, let me see if I can secure a link however: https://twitter.com/Marcin360/status/763763969492410368?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Hmm. That might just convince me to get the GOTY edition then. I hate having to download the DLC, especially when they're as large as the two expansions are supposed to be.
-
Anyone buy the Game of the Year edition? Do the expansions come on the actual game disk with the base game, or do you get download codes?

That's definitely a bug (or someone died accidentally.) He thanked me for not killing anyone. I had a number of comments about my lack of a body count so far. Yeah, I've had NPCs comment to the effect of "luckily you didn't leave a body trail" when commenting on a mission I'd just undertaken.

I'm sketchy on the details of the "original" Deus Ex, so I'm not entirely sure what needs to be setup or what needs to be introduced. Speaking just from a game-by-game perspective, I thought HR ended how a game should end. That story wrapped up, with most of the main mysteries brought up in that game solved, with only the over-reaching mystery surrounding the Illuminati still there. MD, on the other hand, seemed to have a lot more questions unanswered. To me, it felt as though when the credits rolled, there should have been another half of a game to go. I didn't get that sense with HR. When those credits rolled, it felt like the game was done.
-
My issue with Mankind Divided's story is it seemed like it should have had "to be continued" right at the end. I know the previous game left some loose ends, but it seemed like the game also ended properly. This one seemed like it had another half of a story to go. Hopefully they don't take another 5 years to develop the next one, if they're going to leave it on such a cliffhanger.

It makes no sense to go with a non-lethal weapon on the tutorial level when you have no access to the silencer. I wanted to try a lethal play through, but found there was no point to using the weapon they gave me since I'd just end up bringing the entire complex down on me after one shot.

We're like the ****roaches of the gaming world. We'll still be around even after a nuclear holocaust.

Unskippable end credits are an abomination.

30 hours sounds about right for HR, but I don't think I'm close to that for MD. I'm probably in the 12 to 15 hour range for MD (I'm on PS4, it doesn't say -- that I can see -- how many hours I have played). I didn't explore much of Prague other than during mission-related ventures across the city, so I might have missed some hours of exploring in there. But I didn't exactly explore every nook and cranny in HR, either. Yet it still felt longer. When I was approaching what ended up being the final boss fight, I thought there'd maybe be another "chapter" to go.

Finished Mankind Divided. They just had to throw a boss fight into it, didn't they? Ah well, it wasn't a tough fight at all. I'm a bit on the fence now that it's over about which I liked better, the story in HR or MD. HR seemed longer, too. One thing I dislike with a passion -- making you watch the entire credits with no way to skip ahead. I guess now it's on to New Game+ for me.
