  1. You learn about GoTo and Atton through dialogue with them during the game. If you didn't get their entire story then you didn't talk to them enough and get enough influence. The ending was poor, but you can't blame your first two complaints on it.
  2. Hmm you could play Baldur's Gate 100 times and it would never go stale. New games they make these days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> False. 100 times playing the same game gets stale. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nonsense. You're just not a die hard BG fan like me. BG and Fallout never grow tiring no matter how many times I've played them. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> From start to finish you can play it 100 times? Full game? Actually finish it 100 times? I am a big Baldurs Gate fan, and I've attempted dozens of play throughs. But most times I give up midway through because I know what's coming.
  3. I'd still be up for that, if you don't mind me being the bumbling fool who probably chooses the wrong course of action everytime we're besieged by enemies.
  4. Wasn't Atari the publisher for Bloodlines? Or was that Activision? Or someone else starting with 'A'?
  5. My question is this: Are those specs going to be accurate, or will it be a "VtMB" thing where even having the recommended specs will still produce subpar results.
  6. Indeed it does.
  7. People like that truly make me sick. I hope they serve the full 9 years (although they won't).
  8. This was probably stated in the FAQ that's been posted, but last time I looked I believe it wasn't in stone yet, but what are the system specs supposed to be for NWN2?
  9. Load times got to the point I almost gave up playing since it was taking, literally, minutes for each area to load. Then it was so choppy that if there was an enemy there after the area loaded, I'd be pounded with about 4 or 5 shots before I even had control over my character.
  10. How can you do that? Once I know the story and have played through it for the various different endings, I get bored since I know exactly what's coming and exactly what each character says/does in situations. I loved K1, but I got bored with it after I saw both endings as both male and female, and once I got through with a lot of the mods. Same with K2. And same with BG, BG2, FO, FO2, PS:T, etc. Once I've seen the ending a couple of times I don't see it as fun anymore playing through a game where I know what will happen. I guess I just can't think of ANY game that has a huge difference in variety each time you play through. The good ones have some instances where you can play through different, but none that give me a completely new playing experience after having finished the game 3 or 4 times.
  11. He's one of the characters that just didn't seem to have much point in the second game, other than to gap the two stories together. He can't be turned into a Jedi, and his backstory was much more fulfilling in K1.
  12. Stay tuned for this game to explain things, hopefully.
  13. That's more than most so-called RPGs can manage these days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hope that's not a hint about Obsidian's future titles.
  14. I never had problems with crashes. Mine were all performance related (ie. slow as crap and choppy). I guess I'll have to wait until I get a top of the line computer to run a game whose specs say otherwise.
  15. Comicbook stores and online is the only places I've seen. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Damn. Guess it's online for me if I intend on buying it. Maybe amazon will have it.
  16. So how many patches have been released thus far? Have any helped with the many technical issues?
  17. Aren't Warlocks basically Witches that don't cook or clean?
  18. Hmm you could play Baldur's Gate 100 times and it would never go stale. New games they make these days. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> False. 100 times playing the same game gets stale.
  19. A pic of mine wouldn't fit in a PM, either. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I didn't know there was a PM minimum?
  20. If done in an artistic way, I can't see that as obscene.
  21. Do you have to order these things online? I don't recall seeing any stores (other than comic-specific stores, of which there are none around here) selling them.
  22. If only quality posts counted towards one's post count, would anyone on this forum even have cracked the 100 post mark yet?
  23. It wasn't worth it because it got stale after 48 attempts.
