Maybe. If they paid attention to all of the bad reviews of LoA which interestingly enough was reviewed by the same people who gave the first game a good review. Like GameSpot for instance.

It was Super Mario Bros. with all the jumping puzzles. They did a patch for it I think so it wasn't as bad and I imagine Ultima 9 went away from that more.

Read the forum guidelines. They don't want to do that since they don't want to imply they support those games. It's been pretty active here already though.

In some cases in some games, the romances seem kind of forced on you. KOTOR was probably better at not doing that than BG2 was.
Neither the story, nor the game-engine, has anything to do with the game Baldur's Gate. Unless they decide to slap the Bg name on the cover, it's not Baldur's Gate 3. /me shrugs helplessly .. .. snif.. .. .. Which they were going to do since Black Isle only had the rights to publish D&D RPGs with Baldur's Gate or Icewind Dale on the cover. Now they can't even publish Baldur's Gate on the PC and probably not Icewind Dale either. Without knowing the entire story, it's hard to say that there wasn't some tie ins into the first games somewhere into the game.
