The same thing could happen to K1. Your conversation with Bastila in the Temple defined your ending. Unfortunately your ending is defined from the choices you make in the main plot, not from your alignment.

The question that everybody asks is: Will K3 be made? The right question is: are there people who would buy K3? (Pure capitalism, baby!! :D ) Answer: YES, unfortunately most of the people who bought K2 WILL buy K3 even if it's the crappiest game in history. It's basic fanboy logic. LA loves it. Conclusion: K3 WILL be made. The various rumors won't give us anything new.

IMO Revan was evil and smart just like Sidious. He didn't have to prepare a 1000 year old scheme because he was lucky enough to discover Malachor V and the Star Forge.

Obsidian did well, given the time that they had. BUT this was not an "ordinary" game. This was the sequel for the game of the year!! They knew the expectations were great and they decided to accept the job.... Of course the company to blame for this mess is LA. Even if Obsidian had rejected the offer they would have found another developer to push around. Unfortunately we are the ones that allow LA to get away with this kind of attitude... I know that i have attacked (both now and in the past) Obsidian more than i should and i apologize. (After all i liked BG!) I urge everyone that cares about quality to think twice before giving his money to companies like LA. Being a fanboy is not good.

i fully agree. @TerranEarth: We've got Revan: LS/DS, M/F and Exile: LS/DS, M/F. That means 16 different options.........

i think that a third main character will complicate things even more. When you say "If possible the sex of the mentor could be made vague" what exactly do you have in mind??????? I believe that K3 will have Revan and Exile fight or join forces in DS or LS. The "overpowered-ness" problem is unavoidable. Probably you will start at lvl 10 and your enemies will be lvl 11 or higher. I am also curious about continuity. How will the choices made in K1 and K2 be "tranferred" to K3???

1. The "full potential" argument has been said over and over. I don't think that the result would have been as good as most people imagine it. 2. I think that main character development is more important than NPC development. I don't know about you but the Exile seemed less developed than the NPCs to me. (I finished the game -in DS- without knowing who cut me off from the Force!!) 3. So you didn't like the Revan twist? Don't tell me that Kreia fooled you...... EDIT: Not to mention the fact that K2 is the first game that required a fan-made "restoration" project to fill it's plot gaps..... Thank you LA.... In my mind K2 will be a reference point to poor game design....
