  1. As someone who enjoyed picking up collector's editions, I can't say it's a trend I'm fond of.
  2. I'd link to one of those Kronar comics on Oglaf, if it wouldn't get me banned. Show me your honor. No! Your other honor.
  3. Apparently, same-sex romances are in Skyrim.
  4. The second boss battle depends heavily on whether you have one aug or not.
  5. Away from the game for a couple of days, so can't check it myself... What makes you think that?
  6. I just finished and was quite upset that
  7. I just finished with the third boss fight (Singapore) and I have to say that every 'surprise' moment in the story has seemed... obvious. Even the sudden appearance of the third boss, while very clever, was something I expected as soon as the cutscene started.
  8. I loved Morrowind. I liked Fallout 3. I hated Oblivion. (Still haven't managed to finish it.) I have no idea what to expect with this game.
  9. I use it all the time. I'm not sure if I need it, but it's one of the most handy augs for me. What is the range on the stun gun? I've used the tranq rifle and it annoys me. When I actually want to fire at a long distance, I can't do so from cover and even with the zoom, the shot isn't reliable enough. The silenced sniper rifle seems far more handy to me; I always hit my target, there's a light so I can reliably use it around corners, it's an instant down, and the guys never get back up.
  10. There's also flooding, so going underground probably isn't as useful.
  11. I liked the universal ammo and wish they'd put it into DX:HR.
  12. Image of devastation caused by Russian earthquake superweapon:
  13. I don't have DX: HR, yet. I'm playing the sit-at-desk-wishing-it-was-5pm-so-I-can-run-to-Fry's,-pick-up-game,-and-play-all-weekend game.
  14. >>YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED A WANDERING MONSTER! ! >>YOU HAVE ENCOUNTERED A PYRAMID HEAD! ! Attack -> Metal Pipe >>YOU HIT PYRAMID HEAD Dam: 0 pts. >>YOU HIT PYRAMID HEAD Dam: 0 pts. >>YOU CRITICAL HIT PYRAMID HEAD! ! Dam: 0 pts. >>PYRAMID HEAD HITS YOU WITH SWORD Dam: 20, HP: 13/50 >>PYRAMID HEAD HITS YOU WITH SWORD Dam: 25, HP: -12/50 YOU ARE DEAD! ! PYRAMID HEAD RAPES YOUR CORPSE. YOU MURDERED YOUR WIFE.
  15. Those ***holes have RUINED the Deus Ex experience. Long load times allow me to really appreciate the warm, golden glow of the load screen. It's atmospheric and vital to my enjoyment! I'll tell you one thing: they'd better not release a patch that increases the FPS or makes the cutscenes run smoother or I am FINISHED with this game.
  16. Staring Cmd. Adam "Subtle Biblical Reference" Shepard.
  17. Anything that doesn't crack my top 10 is utter crap and any reviews that say otherwise are paid for.
  18. I'm surprised the recent downgrade of the US's credit rating hasn't made this thread yet. We're now AA+, I'm sure Russia has a AAA due to its awesome economy. Asking for a strong USA is like asking for a burning metal pole to be shoved up your rectum. Our strength is almost always wrapped up in our xenophobic and militaristic tendencies.
  19. Are you suggesting that all technological advances after the 1950s aren't from reverse engineered alien technology and the Illuminati isn't controlling the world's economy? /thinks Perkake is one of them.
  20. Boy you got me, Volo. I didn't think my grandmother was bigoted because she talked about how evil Jews were. I thought my grandmother was bigoted simply because she said she wasn't.
  21. I picked up Dead Money. So far it's... frustrating.
  22. Almost every bigoted person I've met has told me they're not racist/homophobic/sexist/whatever at some point. My grandmother used to go on about how the Jews killed Jesus, were destined to burn in hell, and were manipulating the US economy for (nefarious) Jewish reasons. When I pointed out that she sounded awfully anti-Semitic? Noooo, not her. She loved all of God's children. Halleluiah and pass the cornbread.
  23. I've had many, many lucid dreams. The first one I recall having started with a giant, shadowy monster chasing me. I reached the edge of a cliff and stared down into pit below me, knowing it was either jump or be devoured. Then I thought to myself, "This is a dream," and I realized that if it was a dream, I could control events. So I whipped out an Uzi and riddled the monster with bullets. Very satisfying.
