  8. Duke Nukem Forever? Then make a game that is pure love. pr0n: the game. I'd release it for PC and the wii. with all the censure you would get a blank white box including an unwritten DVD that wouldn't be Baldur's Gate

  11. You can't fight such a terrifying vision of mankind's future. 2035, a nuclear fire spreads over the earth, incinerating its major cities. On Maskiwan Army Base, a group of military families rush to fallout shelters and take refuge deep in the earth. Six months later, they emerge to a shattered world. Cities still smolder and burn, a maddening plague spreads through the scattered remnants of humanity, and when night falls, horrors from a forgotten age stalk the land. The war is over; the battle for survival has just begun. *cue dramatic score* Fire, fire, burn! At the beginning of the game, it must have a cut scene showing the nuclear war happening. yes that's needed, it seems most of the games with similar stories forget to SHOW what happened

  14. Thats sarcasm right, you with all that darkness, and love for Vampire can't dislike ghouls/werewolves/zombies/cannibals/ect ... does the world end today?
  15. I believe kirottu was trying to make a point that you were talking nonsense by using an appeal to ridicule. (An example wiki gives of this type of argument: If Einstein's theory of relativity is right, that would mean that when I drive my car it gets shorter and heavier the faster I go. That's crazy!) You suggested there would be little difference between a post-apololyptic Europe and America, as both would be focused on reginal conflicts, and a great deal of what makes European culture European would be gone. He ridiculed your statement using this logic: If Jorian Drake's argument is correct, then we might as well disregard the pretence of a post-apocolypic Europe resembling our world at all, and instead portray it as a land filled with Elves and crime lord Huts who take counsel from Jedis, Mages and Druids. Well, remember brahmins, those 'clawbeasts' (without skates doh), the new 'Nations' like Vault City, the Den, Necropolis, organizations like the BoS. My point is that with such a huge war and with so intense regional problems, and effects later because the war the cultures we know now wouldn't really exist anymore, maybe some would but definetly not all. Some become extinct, some mutate, some survive (maybe under earth), some mix up with an other one, and new ones are also created. And yes, european or asian or whateve cultures as we know them would be gone, there would be some offsprings and survivors, but most would simply 'be similar' to what we know. (This actually helps the gamedevelopers to not ignite a cultue/faith/ect. war because of the game, as most wouldn't be recognisible anyway.)
  16. lol, agree
  17. Maria, its sure you had different experience with larp then me...what kind of women did you encounter? Besides: real swords aren't so off if even the 'main villain' is in real a quite good ninjutsu user... god was it hard to beat that warmage
  18. You have no idea. i understand the words, but the sentence just doesn't make sense to me
  19. From an American developer? HELL NOOO! Yeah, americans couldn
  20. I was once larpin here in Hungary, we were in an agreement with a town to play in there and to 'rent' it and its area, they got a lot of income, we got a fun place together with a real castle to make as siege, and anyone was afraid when i took out my real sword instead of the paper one (didn't use it doh, that would have been unfair ) And at the night assault on the castle two drunkards from the town walked there, and as we hid the defenders thought the two guys are making the noice, that was hilarious!
  21. ...i remember zombies
  22. Yeah but that's exactly what makes a PA setting so interesting. Because the Fallout games weren't about some stupid Orc-Elves war were you can put in every nonsense, but adressed subjects like humanity, despair, power, humor etc. Something people grew up with in their region/city and therefor have their own stories and views of events, as well as have to struggle with the originated social structures, economical circumstances and what not. well, thats why they should make it in a cooperation with european developers...maybe Digital Reality? but the point is that because it would be needed to be more complex you can't say its not possible
