Who was the greatest lightsaber duelist
Valdrane replied to RoadReaction's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You are all wrong. Obi-wan was. Why you ask. Watch EP III when it come sout. Obi-wan beats both Anakin AND Grevious, not to mention killed Maul in EP I. I woudl also like to tell you that GL agrees with me. Obi is the best LS duelist and the luckiest Jedi of all time. -

As for the Gender of Revan, that soemhow got deleted from this post. I made a few lines about it, I will nwo go back and fix it. Also, yoru last paragraph is apart of Part III, so don;t get ahea do fme, I got a nic eplto twist for yall. -
Name: StarWars: The Mandalorian Wars (part 1 of 3) Setting: 1 year before the end of the Mandalorian Wars Character: Captain (insert name here) male/female, head of Republic Special Operations in Revan's Republic Fleet. Opening scene: YOu are eating chow when General Malak approachesyou and says "Captain, coewm with me, I have orders for you".",. YOu go off with the now Lightside Malak, and he tells you "Admiral Revan has dispatched me to tell you that the tides of the War are now turning and that you (whoever you are) are needed to tak eout specific personel within the Mandalorian Army" Malak procedes on "But Admiral Revan has told me that they have all gone into hiding following their defeat at Onderon ( or whateve rplanet strikes yoru fancy). Your job is to find where they are and eliminate them. YOu reply "But why woudl he/she want me to do this when there ar emore qualkified people to do this mission, etc etc etc, blah blah blah" Commign along with you is Sergeant Carth (the first you get in your group) Quest 1: Find documentation of the whereabouts of highranking Mandalorian Officials, in a hidden (until now) Mandalorian Intelligence base on Dxun. Where you get to kill all sorts of baddies, and gain levels, figure out cumputer locked vaults and trash offices. Quests 3-5: Tak eout various Mandalorian Officials after finding documentation on their whereabouts. And you just happen to find the rest of your party on these 3 quests. Quest 6: After killing the third guy, you find documents on him explaining about a raid the Mandalorians are planngn on the Republic fleet, you must stop them before they do (which brings us to the FIRST StarWars cRPG space battle where you control your ship), BUT you must fly solo in order to keep the element of surpise. (thsi may or may nto be a bad idea, since most cRPGers, have no twitch experience) Between quests. One of your team revolts against you, confessign he/she is a spy for th eMandalorian Army and disappears into space. Presumebly heading back for theMandalorian Army. Hint HINT, end game apponant. (PLOT TWIST) Quest 7 and 8: Take out more officials, etc Quest 9 ENDGAME: After completing the final quest, you gain knowledge of the whereabouts of your traitorous party member, and it become sevident that he is one of Mandalore's Top ranking Generals. Objective: Revan himself/herself gives you the orders to Search and Destroy traitor/spy. You have now completed, yoru missions and gain the rank of Colonel. Much cheering and Juma Juice drinking. The End. NO LOVE INTERESTS. This is war. Well, what yall think, would you play it? Any constructive criticism is welcome, if ya wanna be a smartass, keep your trap shut. Next Game StarWars: The Mandalorian Wars II; The Fog of War :EDIT: re-added the Revan gender problem, made insign into General Malak. Added, more dialogue. :EDIT: Took out th epossibility of being a Jedi, added even more dialouge. Took otu you speakign with Revan, but made the gender possible to control, to which ever gameplay suits you.

Well, I have heard many theories. But I have on eof my own, and am too lazy to read all thes eposts. SO here is my theory. Revan did indeed turn to the Darkside during the Mandalorian Wars, during which he came aware of the Star Forge and of the Greater True Sith Empire beyond the outter rim. That was when he adopted the title Sith Lord and created the Sith Army, to further destroy the Republic, so the True Sith could follow him and conquer the Galaxy, and he woudl of course, becoem them and rule. But before this could happen, the Jedi captured Revan with the aid of Darth Malak, reprogrammed him and sent him after the star Forge. When he became aware of what he had done and what the true threat was and after he destroyed Malak. He left, in search of the True Sith, and to undo whatever he had done during his reign as a Dark Lord. It is repentance he is after. Revan never went a bit dark to help the republic, he becamse evil and a Sith Lord to destroy the Republic for the True Sith. After the Mandalorians, the only two things standing in hsi way where the Republic and the Jedi order. which both are in the time of KOTOR II, are pretty much either destroyed (Jedi Order) or so weak, no one could stop a true threat (Republic).

Ancient Republic Commando? Brilliant idea! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think I will expand on this idea, I came up with a few more after I read what you had to say. I bet I could come up with an entire story.

My wife doesn't pu tout enough, I woudl use it to get laid, lol. but if she ever found out, she would kick my ass.

Well, if ya really really really wanna get technical, if you go by the non-game Extended Universe, Revan was a Lightside Male. This is somewhere in the books or comics, I am nto sure, cause I do not have them on me atm. You do have to remember, that this game is an RPG, and many different people being either male or female, play this game, hence being able to customize your character, it wouldn;t be an RPG if ya couldn't Role play, lol. I also am of the mind, that having movies based on KOTOR woudl be a bad idea. It WOULD take away from everyones enjoyment of the game and set everythign into stone, and the games would be irrelevant (sp?). There by destroying our Role Playing experience. I would not mind however, if there was a game or series of games during the Mandilorian Wars where you woudl play a soldier under General Revan and have to go on special Op missions for him with a platoon or some such, or possibly be a Jedi under the same circumstances. You could watch the war unfold before you depending on the success of your missions.

Most exciting aspect of Episode III
Valdrane replied to Nur Ab Sal's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If ya watch all th einterviews, parts of the timelien com eou tin bits and pieces of it, mostly i got that timeline from Starwars.com hyperspace. My theory on the Hans Solo deal was that it took time to let all the pieces fall into place. Getting Lando into Jabba's Palace as a guard, Luke to mostly complete his Jedi training, Leia and chewbacca to iron out all the little parts of his bounty. Plus they had to find him. They did not know exactlly where he was, and according to StarWars lore, Jabba's palace is hidden, remember Tatooine is a big place. Though, that is just my Theory, I am sure GL has his own thoughts about it. -

So Luke was 18 when he beat Vader? That would mean he was at least 15 when he blew the DS. But come think of it, it's not that weird, his father had done that before. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ever seen this? Lost Scene from The Empire Strikes Back <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The events of ANH took place 20 years after EP III, so that would make Luke 20 and EP IV, and 24 in ROTJ. -
It is pretty much speculation atm. GL said, IF they do a TV series it would probably be about the Jedi purge, ya know, the events following Ep III leading up to EP IV. The events following ROTJ have already been written, in EPs VII, VIII, IX. So a TV show based on that timeline would be moot. GL has already admitted to writting episodes 7 threw 9 in the form of a movie script plot outline. Also, GL also said, that he woudl only make the TV series IF EP III did exceptional in the boxoffice, and if the writing was supurb, he didn't want a StarWars TV series to turn out like the Young Indiana Jones TV series.

Are there any webpages for the Fallout series or the Vampire Bloodlines game. I would like ot take a peek at them before I go out and buy them. Thanks.

Yep, I realize they are, and that is my personal opinion. If your father wants a console gaming system, then he can have it. I personally think consoles are toys for children.
