Desperate help - The Storyline
Palmtree replied to Jason Katan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
I think that the reason that Kreia was exiled was that she wanted to wait to strike at the Jedi. Nihilus and Sion wanted to strike sooner so they got rid of Traya and started their shadow war against the Jedi. IIRC this was mentioned on one of the loading screens. -
I think it's actually impossible to get your old lightsaber back regardless of your persuade skill. As for the colour, Atris' lightsaber is the colour that you tell Atton when he asks you to describe your old lightsaber. To do that you have to say it was 'unique' (apart from red) and then select one of the following dialogue options according to the colour. If you say you cannot remember its colour, the colour is random.

I'm still convinced it was not Revan that sent T3 to find the Exile. Revan left T3 because he knew he would not need him. Bastila/Carth ordered T3 to find other Jedi to help if Revan disappeared. In some ways, T3 was seeking the Exile out on his own, using the information that Atris had leaked about the Exile's whereabouts. Could someone else confirm which of us is right? -

When you explore T3 memory core you find out he wasnt abandoned but sent (with the Ebon hawk) back by Revan to find the Exile! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Sent by Revan? I'm quite sure Revan abandoned him and it was Bastila/Carth that sent T3 to find the Exile. -

I think T3 was on the Ebon Hawk the whole time, abandoned by Revan when he went to the Unknown Regions. It's not entirely clear who was actually in control of the Ebon Hawk though. If you have a high Intelligence attribute and get the message from Bastila/Carth, it reveals T3 was ordered to search for someone to help. However, Kreia also had reason to seek out the Exile as she was seeking the death of the Force. -

My guess is that when Revan started recovering his memory and went to Malachor V, he took the Ebon Hawk with him. He then abandoned the Ebon Hawk and took one of the ships on Malachor to travel to the Unknown Regions to help against the True Sith. Later, Kreia journeyed to Malachor in search of Revan but was corrupted by the Dark Side. After she was exiled by the other Sith Lords, she came up with a plan to get revenge using the Exile. During this time she would have discovered the Ebon Hawk and used it. Since T3-M4 had been ordered to search for other Jedi anyway, Kreia could use it to locate the Exile. It doesn't seem completely correct, and I'm sure there are some holes there, but that's the theory I've pieced together using information from the game and the Chronicles. -
To find out if you've correctly set Revan to light side you should go to the briefing room on the Harbinger. Use the console there. One of the logs has the Republic officer speaking to an admiral. If it's Admiral Onasi, then you've done it right. If it's Admiral Cede then you'd better hope you have a save game before speaking to Atton.

A lot of things in KOTOR II are confusing. To understand what happened between the two games, it's a good idea to visit the official website and read the Chronicles section. It explains quite a lot and gives some good background information of the period as well. -
Darth Traya vs. Darth Sidious
Palmtree replied to Lord Orpheus's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Interesting. I didn't know any of that stuff. I can't even remember how I found that site, but I guess I'll avoid it in the future. -
I've already listed that one. It's called 'Kreia's Fall'.

How did you hear his midiclorine count? are you on the mailing list or something? (w00t) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No I read it in one of those...I realy don't know what you would call it...one of those after-star-wars-is-over-and-the-rebels-are-trying-to-make-a-new-republic books. I doubt the storys completly comply with GL's outlook on the SW future, but it does have Star Wars blasted all over them and they are using copyrighted characters (luke, leia, han, palpatine, etc.), so i figure they have to have some kind of official approval. I should proboobly try to get some cold hard facts from official channel though. If I have got the count wrong, correct me. I'm all ears. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There's a list of midiclorian counts at www.supershadow.com/starwars/midi.html It even shows counts for Darth Revan and Darth Malak. No Darth Traya though. -
Seldom mentioned missing quest

I think it's one of the things you can ask G0-T0 about if you have high influence, along with all of the other droid related things on Nar Shadaa. -
Any reason to pick consular over sentinel?
Palmtree replied to cab00se's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
If you want a challenge you could go for consular, as the combat in KOTOR II is quite easy compared to the original. Third time I played through I was a Jedi Consular/ Sith Lord. It made the final fight quite difficult. -
Who was the better Sith Lord?
Palmtree replied to Jedi Master Revan's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
Listen to all the conversations in KOTOR II about Revan. In KOTOR I, it may have seemed Revan was out to destroy the Republic, but in KOTOR II it is implied that Revan may have fallen to the dark side because he knew it was the only way to protect the Republic. -
Thanks. I'll try getting that one and hopefully I'll be able to find the others as well.

You're not alone. I had trouble the first time as well, and also ran through the ship several times.

Are you looking for the missile bay itself or just the console to open it? The missile bay is in the same room as the workbench. If you are looking for the console, it is in the same room. It should be on the far left of the room as you walk in.

I don't ever remember hearing that line. I thought that Disciple simply said that he had heard that Revan returned to his first master to learn how to leave the Order. I don't remember him mentioning Arren Kae.
-
It's definitely 62 on the Xbox version.
-
It's impossible to get Disciple to join you if you are a male character, so I don't know where you got that idea from. Unless you've mixed him up with a different character...
-
Didn't Revan fight in the Mandalorian Wars as well? Isn't he also a veteran? I agree that the Exile would probably be in his late 30s but I think Revan would be around that age as well.
-
I have the Xbox version of KOTOR II and have completed it three times and have got both endings. However, when I look at the movies section, it says I only have 59 of the 62 movies. I know that some of the movies are optional such as 'Kreia's Fall' and various ones to do with the Battle of Khoonda. I was wondering if anyone knew which of the other movies were optional so I might be able to get them and complete the list.

Stuck on Ravager - 4th Proton core wont trigger
Palmtree replied to antagonistix's topic in Star Wars: General Discussion
You don't need to place all the charges before going to the bridge. The first time I played through, I placed some of the charges, went to the bridge, then placed the rest of them. This problem has really confused me since I cannot see anything that antagonistix has missed. -
I think the lack of captions was to add to the mystery of the character. I thought it was a good idea and worked quite well. However, I have to agree that it was a bit weird that there were no captions even though the exile clearly understands what he is saying.
