They're basically these awesome transparent "condoms" for your discs, protecting them from scratches & other nasties. Those are turned based games. JE is real-time combat. You simply can't jump, roll, move, heal, change style/transform & camera angle all at the same time using a Mouse & Keyboard.

As Hades & Vol would testify, porting JE over to a keyboard & mouse would be ineffectual. The controls are quite simply subliminal on the XBOX controller where all 10+ buttons are utilized flawlessly.

I think arcade games were my first: Space Invaders, natch. First computer game was probably the one I created (written in BASIC for the Challenger 1P, 1kB of RAM). First game on my own computer (Apple //e, 64kB RAM including the 16kB "language card") was Star Trek (an ASCII RTS game played over many grids). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm not sure if I've played that one, but EGA Trek was one of my personal favs. Damn, that game was so fun and addictive. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you simply don't understand the rulebook. I am aware it can be stodgy and over-complicated at times. --- You are responsible for yourself in terms of the managment of your armed forces. I, amongst many of the others am more than happy to aid you in understanding the rules/theory etc. provided by the game therein. However, failing to proactively seek aid in helping yourself better comprehend the rules is no reason to begrudge another of their comparative success(es).
