  1. Depends on the client, I suppose.. Maybe they are a big SW geek themslef and wnat tod o all busines sin the future with you ';cause ya share a common bond.
  2. Well.. So, it worked on Darque then?
  3. Yeha, but your post count suggest otherwise.
  4. The point is Drak, you complain people who wnat 20+ levels don't liek to role-play or ar epwoer gamers. That's baloney. It sure beats articial level caps ala KOTOR1. It's lame. Plain, and simple. As for fightingd rgaons like they're common orcs; then the blamne is laid on the developer/DM. Neither of BIo's epic games ever let you fight dragons like they were just not another monster. Not one. Once again, it is up to Obsidian to balance the game. If they are as skilled as we claim they should be able to do it. As for BG1 vs. TOB; I think character development progressed pretty nicely for both with both advantages and disadvantages.
  5. Newc: Why do you think I'm so hostile? I'm not here because I like Internet Geek Message BoardMembers. I'm here because I need input. Period. Sarge: Sorry. Obsidian - like all other boards - don't have the *balls* to make me a mod.
  6. PST had better combat? LOLOLOLOL Obviously you didn't play PST. I can see the argument for stating that PST had better story, characters, and witing than KOTOR; but combat? I'm not the biggest fan of KOTOR's combat as it had LOTS of weaknesses; but compared to PST; it's combat was perfect as PST combat was literlaly a joke. I mean, I LAUGHED at it. Literally. And, the only reason why I think Obsidian well do better with KOTOR2 then Bio did with KOTOR1 is simple. They can learn from Bio's KOTOR msiatkes, and do their ebst not to make the same ones while keeping the stuff Bioware did right and even enchancing those. Obsidian has no exuse for failure. None.
  7. I'm nothere to help with balance. If Obsidian is as good as we all claim them to be; they can handle it.
  8. Good. Good feature.
  9. The d20 deisgner is irrelevant. He isn't making KOTOR2, and he isn't the one gonan ahev to balance it so his opinion menas crap in this case as pnp and video games are two completely different beasts. Period. Quite frnakly, your arrogance is very sad. Leave those out whoa re attached to their characters? Lame. Mnay people just want to keep their characters, and see them grow in more than one way. There is nothingw rong with that. What I find funny is depsite all your complaints and knowing full well ebfor ehand what KOTOR2 is trying to accomplish and not liking it; you'll be one of the first in line to buy it. Haha. Yet you expect Obsidian to take you seriously when they already ahve your $50 (or whatever) in their bank account.
  10. Bastilla, and Misison would be my faves to return. Maybe Junahi, and Revan as well.
  11. Man. I like Chris Avellone too; but hisa writing skills are sooo overrated. HGe is not some writing God. IWD2 proves this. And, besides, like Grom mentioned, he did NOT write any of the BIS games solo. Jeez. And, giving Dave G all (or most of ) the credit (or engative press) for KOTOR's writing (or other BIO games) is just plain silly since, he like Avellone, did not write the games solo. Geez.. Theya re not Shakespeare, King, or some other fancy writer whow rite their books solo. Silly gooses.
  12. I'd rather it be a party of unlimited since depending on npc choices and what not. I hate artififcal sizes limits.
  13. I sense lots of whining, and most of it comes from the Uusual Suspect. I'm still trying to figure out why he's here. I much prefer level 1-20 myself; but there is nothing inherently wrong with level 20+. And, it's much better than artificial level caps ala NWN (original), BG seris, FO1, etc., etc. It'll just be up to Obdisian to make sure the game is balanced depending on what level they expect you to be at the end. That is all.
  14. Newc, you thought wrong. Internetr Message Board Geeks are *never* my mind of people. Darque, only the Jedi Mind Trick amkes you think it's *not* locked.
  15. No they didn't. BIS games were delayed many times. Many, many times. See IWD2 which was DELAYED months as just ONE example.
  16. From his library of books detail every painful factual detail of the mythical universe known of Star Wars, of course.
  17. Then they have less than 1000 of actually active posters then. Uh.. like most boards.
  18. True; but BIO also has a different subsect of fans that LA doesn't have. How many people who don't care much for SW bought KOTOR anyways because it was an RPG made by BIO? I bet at least 6.
  19. LOL So did 90% of the Known Universe.
  20. I think drakron has a case of 'BLANK envy'. As for all the hubaloo of "chidlren' who will show up when it's announced. Sure, it'll happen. No biggy. Even kiddies have the right to give their opinions and thoughts on a game espicially sicne it's those kiddies who will, in the end, helpd etermine if KOTOR2 is a hit. Besdies, there's already a whole bunch of imature punks on this baord - me, and Drakron being two of them.
  21. Lantern: Huh? What are ya babbling about?
  22. No, no it is not. Nothing is as bad as that.
  23. I'm with Drakron. Rinoa, and Squall's romance was greta. Sure, it used a 'cheap' tatic like coma but if Gromnir had atually played the game; he'd know that it fits quite well in a FANTASY game. Pity too since I usually agree with Grom.. Tsk, tsk.
