  1. OMG Hades actually makes sense!
  2. Hmm.. I thought Tri would be smart enough to know my post was my opinion. I guess I was wrong.
  3. Heh. Why don't yout hink magena asked me if it be easier to just ask Bioware for a job since we share the same country. Heh.
  4. Huh?NWN has aged well. So well, I'm still playing it and it still looks reasonably good aside from the blocky look. I no longer play BG when I see screenshots of it I say "TOEE clone".
  5. What are you two babling about? It's North bay, Kanada...
  6. He's been saying it for a good year!
  7. East Bay/ You must referring to different Bays than me...
  8. Kefka, you must realize, that Tri despises the IE/NWN/KOTOR style of pause n play that BIO specializes in. In fact, BG1 which he does like, he basically likes because it has empty screens that you can explore freely in spite of the combat. He just doesn't like kind of conmbat yet he continues to buy games that feature it.. Plus, in Tri's mind... turn base combat = role-playing
  9. *ignores Spook* Tri, you also seem to forget that NWN is selling at a quicker pace than BG1, or BG2 at least that's what was said last time the issue was brought up.
  10. True. You'll always have a lack of typos to boost your ego. Let's hope they do. Let's hope all developers do.
  11. LOL That guy who goes on, and on about Dave's 'deisgn philosphy" is accusing another of beinga drama queen. Espciailly when he repeats the same phrase over,a nd over again in the same post. Keep that up Tri, and you'll be as bad as me. I do agree however that there was too much frivilous combat in KOTOR.
  12. Then again, BIO has amde changes due to vocal minority so it wouldn't be the first time...
  13. Foul scum and villany? You just described North Bay...
  14. Huh? You played a different KOTOR than i did...
  15. Impossible? Is there a law against skipping a number in sequels? Weird...
  16. They're several provinces over. I'd rather live in Eternal Summer (ie. California).
  17. Ending your post with '"Period". Intentionally stolen or not, it's my llame ending! Mine. All mine.
  18. Then again, my original post on the subejct matter was on a specifc point made by Tri; not you. That somehow stats define one's role; that just isn't the case. It's one of the factors that help define it. So, Tri, inf act,w as saying it was the be all/end all. Oops... someone did say. Get your own lame jokes and post endings. Period.
  19. I agree with both of you there. I never said stats weren't important...
  20. To you. Hehe.Like i said, both are improtant; I just feel that personality and mindset are more important because they'll usually be sued by the player to select skills, feats, stats, etc. for their character.
  21. Role-player: really? So... which number tells me I'm a psychotic who loves to murder innocnets? Which number tells me I should try to save the littel boy who was kidnapped? Which number tells me my character opposes guns/missle weapons as wussy weapons and prefers melee ? The list of rhetorical questions I can ask on this issue is unlimited. Numbers are important, and they do HELP define what you can or cannot do ina game; theya re not the be all/end all of ROLE-PLAYING. Period.
  22. It's too bad mindset and personality are much more important to the role-playing aspect than silly little numbers.
  23. Don't mind Tri. He's a powergamer who is more about stats than role-playing his character.
  24. Add me to the unemployed bums begging for a job.
  25. Beh. You had to dragme into this. For the record, .. Fanboy = Rating games 75%, making fun of KOTOR's simplified combat, laughinga the controls and BLAMING BIO while most others blem the consoles. yeah, if that's the definition of fanboy youa re using then sure that's what i am.
