Well, you said their reviews were the most trustworthy... " And, Roger Ebert is different. Even when i disagree with them on a particualr movie; I *always* understand why he thinks a certain way. That's why he's cool.

"NWN is overrated. Kotor rocks." That explains why KOTOR was rated 9.1 (and 8.8 for xobox) while NWN was rated 9.2 by your precious GS good. LOL

Like I said above, 1up thinks the combat is too hard and too deep. And, oh, KOTOR is overrated....

Not contradictory? He says the combat is easy, simple, and repetitive. Hhen he says it's fun. He says the game is easy then he says it is hard yet officially rates easy. He rated KOTOR1 9.1; but JE which from all angles looks like the way better game. And, know what's what funny? I don't even like RT combat and it's obvious to me JE's combat is better, has more depth, and will likely be more challenging than KOTOR's combat. And, yet he rated it 9.1. That to me raises up Red Flags. Also, JE is now considered an 'Official Flop' according to the GS Forum Mods. LOL It's hilarious on both sides. Of course in the end, it's no big deal as its just one person's opinion out of many. Not the end of the world. 84% on its own is a good score, imo; but not when the review itself is overall negative. And, yeah, he mentions some things he likes; but he glosses over them. He also says the combat is simple and epepetive then waste over a page of the three page reveiw explaining the combat and explaining that there's a lot to do in combat. Make up your mind? "I had no problems with the Inventory system in KotOR 1 or KotOR 2." Joking right? You musta forgot all the datapads. This was somewhat fixed in KOTOR2; but was still a headache compared to other games... Bleieve me, inventory was not something to brag about when it came to the KOTOR series, imo.

I'll take that over the crap inventory that is KOTOR. I'm with Mesh. the score seems good on the surface; but the tone is very negative.

Agreed, GOA. And, oh btw, the combat sucks. Supposedly the combat is worse than KOTOR's whcih I have my doubts about... GS' score is a good score on its own; but if you read the actual review it doens't fit.

The score is irrevelant. At least to me.

If that's the case, I don't think that Fable and KOTOR's 'tiny' areas are an example of the x-box's lack of pwoerl; but the developers going a different route..

They RATED kotor 9.1. kotor was no 9.1 game. Besides, he contradicts hismelf. One sentence he's saying the game was fun then the next he says it's crapy. First, he complains that combat is too easy then too hard. OVerall, while reading the review, I elft thinking the game was crap; but he still rates it 8.4 Normally, an 8.4 is good. Afterall, I would rate KOTOR1 around 8.0-8.5 personally. However, after reading Gamespot and if I were to just base my opinion on JE on GS's review *only* I would never want to touch JE at all. That's how crappy he makes it sound... LOL It's like he had to be the reverse of IGn who OVERRATED it so he UNDERRATED it. Ah well.. Two days then I can rent it and I'll show how dumb both IGN and GS is. :D

Um.. KOTOR2 had more hype - afterall, it's a SW game and a sequel to a best seller in KOTOR1... Then again, theyr ated KOTOR1 9.1 so we know where their mouths are - on LA's butt. :D

We know for a fact that JE doesn't have the inventory problem so that alone makes it better than KOTOR. R00fles!

"They're both DECENT." Nope. MW is awful. MW, and the rest of the ES games seem to be someone's playground where they just stuffed as mucha s they can into one game and say look, gamers, you have lots to do; but it's all crap. Quality will always be > Quantity. That said, the IDEA of creating one's own spells in a CRPG is cool. It be betetr when it's actually done right..

Some other god would take it upon themselves. Afterall, if that were the case, Helm would be the God of Magic right now since he killed Mystra. And, Torm would be the God of Strife and Hate not Cyric because he killed Bane. Of cours,e a god like Torm would never want to be the god of hate so he just didn't accept the 'honour' of such an addition to his portfolio.

Um. You obviously didn't play TOB... You could ascend as a good or evil Diety.
